Takayasu's arteritis(TA),also known as the "pulseless disease," is a chronic vasculitis of the aorta and aortic *** with Crohn's disease is rare and has not been documented in China *** this paper we report on a case of Takayasu's arteritis associated with concurrent Crohn's disease.A 17-year-old Chinese male developed upper limb sourness and a sensation of fatigue,and his upper limb pulses were *** was diagnosed with TA and underwent an axillary artery bypass with autologous great saphenous vein on the left subclavian *** the surgery,he regained the normal blood *** patient also had years of diarrhea and developed an anal canal ulcer,and was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease and ulcerative colitis *** months after the TA surgery,he was hospitalized for severe stomachache and diarrhea and was finally diagnosed with Crohn's *** possible pathophysiological mechanisms responsible for concurrent existence of TA and Crohn's disease may be associated with immune disorders,especially autoimmunity.

Using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we construct a generalized two-mode entangled state, which can be generated by an asymmetrical beam splitter （BS）. Some important properties of this state, such as orthogonality and Schmidt decomposition, are also dis- cussed by deriving the expression of BS operator in coordinate representation. As its applications, to conjugate state, obtain operator identities, generate new squeezing operators （squeezed state） are also presented. It is shown that the fidelity of quantum teleportation can be enhanced under certain case by using the asymmetrical new squeezed state as entangled resource.

Compared with hyperbolic velocity estimation methods,nonhyperbolic methods(such as shifted hyperbola)are better choices for large offsets or vertical transverse isotropy(VTI)*** local seismic event slope contains subsurface information,they can be used to estimate zero-offset two-way traveltime and normal moveout *** traditional velocity estimation methods require a great deal of manual work and are also prone to human *** order to estimate the traveltime parameters for VTI media automatically,in this paper,we propose to use predictive painting and similarity-weighted clustering to obtain traveltime *** predictive painting is used to estimate zero-offset two-way traveltime,and the shifted-hyperbola traveltime equation is used to obtain velocity and anisotropy *** first map local slopes to zero-offset two-way traveltime and moveout-parameters domain and then use similarity-weightedk-means clustering to find the maximum likelihood anisotropy parameters of the main subsurface *** order to demonstrate that,we apply the similarity-weighted clustering method to synthetic and field data examples and the results are of higher accuracy when compared to the ones obtained using multiparameter semblance-based *** estimation error section,it can be seen that the estimation error of multiparameter semblance-based method is about 3-5 times that of the proposed method.

BACKGROUND:Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is a serious and potentially fetal consequence of alcohol use. The diagnosis of ALD is based on alcohol consumption, physical signs and symptoms, and laboratory tests. The aim of the present study was to assess the reliability of carbohydrate-deficient transferrin (CDT) in the diagnosis of ALD.METHODS:According to the diagnostic criteria for ALD by the Chinese Medical Association in 1995, 76 patients with ALD, 55 patients with alcoholism, 32 patients with nonalcoholic liver disease (NALD), and 27 healthy subjects (controls) were studied. Serum CDT was assayed by isoelectric focusing immunofixation and Comassie blue staining. The levels of alamine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and gamma glutamyltransferase (GGT) were also examined.RESULTS:The positive rate of CDT in the patients with ALD was 93.4%(71/76), which was higher than that in those with alcoholism (52.7%, 29/55, P<0.001), in those with NALD(9.4%, 3/32, P<0.001), and in healthy controls, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of CDT for ALD was 93.4% and 71.9%, respectively.CONCLUSION:CDT may help diagnose alcoholic liver disease.

BACKGROUND:Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1ra) can inhibit the pro-inflammatory effects of IL-1, which recently has been thought to involve the pathogenesis of alcoholic liver disease (ALD). This study was undertaken to determine whether there is any association between IL-1ra gene polymorphism and ALD in a Chinese population.METHODS:The polymorphism of IL-1ra gene intron 2 (VNTR) was assessed in 165 alcoholics (43 alcohol-dependent subjects without liver diseases, 30 patients with alcoholic fatty liver, 61 patients with alcoholic hepatitis and 31 patients with alcoholic cirrhosis) and 65 healthy control subjects by PCR with DNA of peripheral blood mononuclear cells.RESULTS:The rate of IL-1RN*1 carriage was statistically higher in the alcoholics than in the control group (98.79% vs 93.85%, chi2=4.48, P<0.050). And the IL-1RN*1 allele frequency was more common in the alcoholics than in the control group (86.67% vs 76.92%, chi2=6.56, P<0.025). IL-1RN*1 heterozygote was significantly more frequent in the patients with alcoholic hepatitis or those with cirrhosis than in the alcohol-dependent subjects without liver diseases (32.79%, 29.03% vs 9.30%; chi2=7.84, chi2=4.84; P<0.010, P<0.050). The IL-1RN*2 allele frequency in the patients with alcoholic hepatitis and the patients with cirrhosis was also significantly higher than in those alcoholics without liver diseases (13.93%, 17.74% vs 4.65%; chi2=4.79, chi2=6.78; P<0.050, P<0.010). But the frequencies of IL-1RN*1 heterozygote and IL-1RN*2 allele appear to be not different between the patients with alcoholic fatty liver and the alcoholics without liver diseases.CONCLUSIONS:IL-1ra gene polymorphism is closely associated with race. IL-1RN*2 allele doesn't influence the susceptibility to ALD, but the gene carriers with ALD have additional risk for aggravation of the illness.

BACKGROUND: Pancreatic cancer development and progression is driven by the accumulation of genetic changes. In this study we constructed tissue microarray containing specimens from pancreatic cancer, adjacent non-cancer tissue and normal tissue to survey the expression of p53, p16 and cyclooxyganase-2 (COX-2). METHODS: Tissue microarray containing 337 specimens from different stages of pancreatic cancer, adjacent noncancer tissue and normal tissues was constructed, and the expression of p53, p16 and COX-2 was assayed by immunohistochemistry to consecutive formalin-fixed tissue microarray sections. RESULTS: The expression of p53, p16 and COX-2 was significantly higher in tumorous tissues than in non-tumorons ones. A significant relationship was observed between p53 and COX-2, or p16 and COX-2. But no obvious correlation was seen between p53 and p16 expressions. Logistic regression analysis showed p53 and COX-2 as dependent predictors in pancreatic carcinogenesis, and a reciprocal relationship to neoplastic progression between p53 and COX-2. CONCLUSION: Combination analysis of p53 and COX-2 may be useful in predicting pancreatic carcinogenesis.

The tensile strain in inorganic perovskite films induced by thermal annealing is one of the primary factors contributing to the inefficiency and instability of inorganic perovskite solar cells （IPSCs）,which reduces the defect formation ***,a flexible molecule 5-maleimidovaleric acid （5-MVA） was introduced as a strain buffer to release the residual strain of *** anhydride and carboxyl groups in 5-MVA interact strongly with the uncoordinated Pb2+through Lewis acid-base reaction,thus tightly“pull”the perovskite *** in-between soft carbon chain increased the structural flexibility of CsPbI2.85Br0.15perovskite materials,which effectively relieved the intrinsic internal strain of CsPbI2.85Br0.15,resisted the corrosion of external strain,and also reduced the formation of defects such as VIand *** addition,the introduction of 5-MVA improved crystal quality,passivated residual defects,and narrowed energy level ***,power conversion efficiency （PCE） of NiOxbased inverted IPSCs increased from 19.25% to 20.82% with the open-circuit voltage enhanced from 1.164 V to 1.230 *** release of strain also improved the stability of CsPbI2.85Br0.15perovskite films and devices.

Transition metal-based nanomaterials have emerged as promising electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction（OER）. Considerable research efforts have shown that self-reconstruction occurs on these nanomaterials under operating conditions of OER process. However, most of them undergo incomplete reconstruction with limited thickness of reconstruction layer, leading to low component utilization and arduous exploration of real catalytic mechanism. Herein, we identify the dynamic behaviors in complete reconstruction of Co-based complexes during OER. The hollow phytic acid（PA） cross-linked CoFe-based complex nanoboxes with porous nanowalls are designed because of their good electrolyte penetration and mass transport ability, in favor of the fast and complete reconstruction. A series of experiment characterizations demonstrate that the reconstruction process includes the fast substitution of PA by OH-to form Co（Fe）(OH)xand subsequent potential-driven oxidation to Co（Fe）OOH. The obtained CoFeOOH delivers a low overpotential of 290 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm-2and a long-term *** experiment results together with theory calculations reveal that the Fe incorporation can result in the electron rearrangement of reconstructed CoFeOOH and optimization of their electronic structure,accounting for the enhanced OER activity. The work provides new insights into complete reconstruction of metal-based complexes during OER and offers guidelines for rational design of high-performance electrocatalysts.

Conversion of CO2back to hydrocarbons is the most direct way of closing the“carbon cycle”,and its significance is further enlarged if this process is driven by renewable energies such as ***,precisely controlling the product selectivity towards hydrocarbons against the competitive hydrogen evolution remains challenging,especially for Cu-based ***,we report a novel defect engineering strategy,by which Cu-doping-induced oxygen vacancies on CeO2nanorods were effectively created,with adjustable vacancy/Cu *** resulting optimum catalyst shows up to 79% catalytic current density to hydrocarbons （excluding CO）,with 49% faradaic efficiency to *** and density functional theory unveil that the ratio between oxygen vacancy and Cu affects significantly the formation of*CHO and activation of H2O,which leads to the following deep hydrogenation to *** findings may spur new insights for designing and developing more controllable chemical process relevant to CO2utilization.
