The self-cascade(SC) method is an effective technique for chaos enhancement and complexity increasing in chaos ***, the controllable self-cascade(CSC) method allows for more accurate control of Lyapunov exponents of the discrete map. In this work, the SC and CSC systems of the original map are derived, which enhance the chaotic performance while preserving the fundamental dynamical characteristics of the original map. Higher Lyapunov exponent of chaotic sequences corresponding to higher frequency are obtained in SC and CSC systems. Meanwhile, the Lyapunov exponent could be linearly controlled with greater flexibility in the CSC system. The verification of the numerical simulation and theoretical analysis is carried out based on the platform of CH32.

Thermoelectric power generators have attracted increasing interest in recent years owing to their great potential in wearable electronics power *** is noted that thermoelectric power generators are easy to damage in the dynamic service process,resulting in the formation of microcracks and performance ***,we prepare a new hybrid hydrogel thermoelectric material PAAc/XG/Bi_(2)Se_(0.3)Te_(2.7)by an in situ polymerization method,which shows a high stretchable and self-healable performance,as well as a good thermoelectric *** the sample with Bi_(2)Se_(0.3)Te_(2.7)content of 1.5 wt%(i.e.,PAAc/XG/Bi2Se0.3Te27(1.5 wt%)),which has a room temperature Seebeck coefficient of-0.45 mV K^(-1),and exhibits an open-circuit voltage of-17.91 mV and output power of 38.1 nW at a temperature difference of 40 *** being completely cut off,the hybrid thermoelectric hydrogel automatically recovers its electrical characteristics within a response time of 2.0 s,and the healed hydrogel remains more than 99%of its initial power *** stretchable and self-healable hybrid hydrogel thermoelectric materials show promising potential for application in dynamic service conditions,such as wearable electronics.

Wearable electronics powered by flexible energy storage devices have captured global *** low-temperature conditions,unfortunately,solidification of flexible hydrogel electrolyte and decreased pseudo-capacity of these devices largely hamper their practical *** this study,photothermally-active Prussian blue(PB)was introduced onto poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/polyacrylamide(PEDOT/PAM)networks to address the challenges of electrolyte solidification and degraded pseudo-capacitance for flexible all-in-one device at low *** as-constructed PB/PEDOT/PAM hydrogel device delivers stable electrochemical performance and remarkable mechanical property with 1652%***,this hydrogel device well retains its flexibility in cold environment with a freezing point below−30℃.The incorporation of PB extends the voltage range to 1.5 V as a single device,thus significantly enhancing the electrochemical performance as an all-inone integrated *** from the outstanding photo-to-thermal conversion ability of embedded PB nanocubes,the temperature of the assembled all-in-one PB/PEDOT/PAM device increased from^(−2)0 to 17.7℃ after solar-light irradiation for only 5 ***,the degraded pseudo-capacitance was subsequently boosted to 287.1%of its original capacitance at−20℃.This study establishes a connection between flexible all-solid-state hydrogel devices and photothermally enhanced pseudocapacitors in freezing environments,thereby expanding the potential applications of multi-functional pseudo-capacitors.

The high-speed on/off valve(HSV)serves as the fundamental component responsible for generating discrete fluids within digital hydraulic *** the switching frequency of the HSV increases,the properties of the generated discrete fluid approach those of continuous ***,a higher frequency response characteristic of HSV is the key to ensure the control accuracy of digital hydraulic ***,the current research mainly focuses on its dynamic performance,but neglect its *** paper presents a theoretical analysis demonstrating that the FRC of the HSV can be enhanced by minimizing its switching *** maximum switching frequency(MSF)is mainly determined by opening dynamic performance when HSV operates with low switching duty ratio(SDR),whereas the closing dynamic performance limits the MSF when HSV operates with high *** upon these findings,the pre-excitation control algorithm(PECA)is proposed to reduce the switching time of the HSV,and consequently enhance its *** results demonstrate that PECA shortens the opening delay time of HSV by 1.12 ms,the closing delay time by 2.54 ms,and the closing moving time by 0.47 ms in comparison to the existing advanced control *** a result,a larger MSF of 417 Hz and a wider controllable SDR range from 20%to 70%were achieved at a switching frequency of 250 ***,the proposed PFCA in this paper has been verified as an effective and promising approach for enhancing the control performance of digital hydraulic systems.

Aqueous Zn^(2+)-ion batteries(AZIBs),recognized for their high security,reliability,and cost efficiency,have garnered considerable ***,the prevalent issues of dendrite growth and parasitic reactions at the Zn electrode interface significantly impede their practical *** this study,we introduced a ubiquitous biomolecule of phenylalanine(Phe)into the electrolyte as a multifunctional additive to improve the reversibility of the Zn *** its exceptional nucleophilic characteristics,Phe molecules tend to coordinate with Zn^(2+)ions for optimizing the solvation ***,the distinctive lipophilicity of aromatic amino acids empowers Phe with a higher adsorption energy,enabling the construction of a multifunctional protective *** hydrophobic benzene ring ligands act as cleaners for repelling H_(2)O molecules,while the hydrophilic hydroxyl and carboxyl groups attract Zn^(2+)ions for homogenizing Zn^(2+)***,the preferential reduction of Phe molecules prior to H_(2)O facilitates the in situ formation of an organic-inorganic hybrid solid electrolyte interphase,enhancing the interfacial stability of the Zn ***,Zn||Zn cells display improved reversibility,achieving an extended cycle life of 5250 ***,Zn||LMO full cells exhibit enhanced cyclability of retaining 77.3%capacity after 300 cycles,demonstrating substantial potential in advancing the commercialization of AZIBs.

Type I interferon(IFN)inhibits a wide spectrum of viruses through stimulating the expression of antiviral *** an IFN-induced protein,myxovirus resistance B(MXB)protein was reported to inhibit multiple highly pathogenic human *** remains to be determined whether MXB employs a common mechanism to restrict different ***,we find that IFN alters the subcellular localization of hundreds of host proteins,and this IFN effect is partially lost upon MXB *** results of our mechanistic study reveal that MXB recognizes vimentin(VIM)and recruits protein kinase B(AKT)to phosphorylate VIM at amino acid S38,which leads to reorganization of the VIM network and impairment of intracellular trafficking of virus protein complexes,hence causing a restriction of virus *** results highlight a new function of MXB in modulating VIM-mediated trafficking,which may lead towards a novel broad-spectrum antiviral strategy to control a large group of viruses that depend on VIM for successful replication.

Electroactive anticorrosion coatings are specialized surface treatments that prevent or minimize corrosion. Thestudy employs strategic thermodynamic equilibriumcalculations to pioneer a novel factor in corrosion protection.A first-time proposal, the total acidity (TA) potential of the hydrogen (pH) concept significantly shapes medicalmagnesium alloys. These coatings are meticulously designed for robust corrosion resistance, blending theoreticalinsights and practical applications to enhance our grasp of corrosion prevention mechanisms and establisha systematic approach to coating design. The groundbreaking significance of this study lies in its innovativeintegration of the TA/pH concept,which encompasses the TA/pH ratio of the chemical environment. This approachsurpasses convention by acknowledging the intricate interplay between the acidity and pH levels within thecoating formulation, thereby optimizing metal-phosphate-based conversion coatings and transforming corrosionmitigation strategies. To authenticate the TA/pH concept, the study comprehensively compares its findings withexisting research, rigorously validating the theoretical framework and reinforcing the correlates among TA/pHvalues and observed corrosion resistance in the coatings. The influence of mutations that occur naturally inthe detergent solution on persistent phosphorus changes is shown by empirical confirmation, which improvescorrosion resistance. This realization advances the field ofmaterials and the field’s knowledge of coated generation,particularly anticorrosion converter layers.

Marker-assisted selection(MAS)and genomic selection(GS)breeding have greatly improved the efficiency of rice *** to the influences of epistasis and gene pleiotropy,ensuring the actual breeding effect of MAS and GS is still a difficult challenge to *** this study,113 indica rice varieties(V)and their 565 testcross hybrids(TC)were used as the materials to investigate the genetic basis of 12 quality traits and nine agronomic *** original traits and general combining ability of the parents,as well as the original traits and midparent heterosis of TC,were subjected to genome-wide association *** total,381 primary significantly associated loci(SAL)and 1,759 secondary SALs that had epistatic interactions with these primary SALs were *** these loci,322 candidate genes located within or nearby the SALs were screened,204 of which were cloned genes.A total of 39 MAS molecular modules that are beneficial for trait improvement were identified by pyramiding the superior haplotypes of candidate genes and desirable epistatic alleles of the secondary *** the SALs were used to construct genetic networks,in which 91 pleiotropic loci were ***,we estimated the accuracy of genomic prediction in the parent V and TC by incorporating either no SALs,primary SALs,secondary SALs or epistatic effect SALs as *** the prediction accuracies of the four models were generally not significantly different in the TC dataset,the incorporation of primary SALs,secondary SALs,and epistatic effect SALs significantly improved the prediction accuracies of 5(26%),3(16%),and 11(58%)traits in the V dataset,*** results suggested that SALs and epistatic effect SALs identified based on an additive genotype can provide considerable predictive power for the parental *** also provide insights into the genetic basis of complex traits and valuable information for molecular breeding in rice.
