Atom interferometer has been proven to be a powerful tool for precision metrology. Here we propose a cavity-aided nonlinear atom interferometer, based on the quasi-periodic spin mixing dynamics of an atomic spin-1 Bose−Einstein condensate trapped in an optical cavity. We unravel that the phase sensitivity can be greatly enhanced with the cavity-mediated nonlinear interaction. The influence of encoding phase, splitting time and recombining time on phase sensitivity are carefully studied. In addition, we demonstrate a dynamical phase transition in the system. Around the criticality, a small cavity light field variation can arouse a strong response of the atomic condensate, which can serve as a new resource for enhanced sensing. This work provides a robust protocol for cavity-enhanced metrology.

Neutral beam injection(NBI)systems based on negative hydrogen ion sources-rather than the positive ion sources that have typically been used to date-will be used in the future magnetically confined nuclear fusion experiments to heat the *** collisions between the fast negative ions and neutral background gas result in a significant number of high-energy positive ions being produced in the acceleration area,and for the high-power long-pulse operation of NBI systems,this acceleration of positive ions back to the ion source creates heat load and material sputtering on the source *** difficulty cannot be ignored,with the neutral gas density in the acceleration region having a significant impact on the flux density of the backstreaming positive *** the work reported here,the pressure gradient in the acceleration region was estimated using an ionization gauge and a straightforward 1D computation,and it was found that once gas traveled through the acceleration region,the pressure dropped by nearly one order of magnitude,with the largest pressure drop occurring at the plasma *** computation also revealed that the pressure drop in the grid gaps was substantially smaller than that in the grid apertures.

The present study investigates the expression of microphthalmia-associated transcription factor(MITF) and its contribution to the melanin deposition in Liancheng white *** PCR was used to clone the MITF gene sequence from the skin tissue of female Liancheng white *** spectrophotometry was used to detect the melanin *** mRNA expression and melanin deposition in different tissues and organs were detected and their correlation was *** MITF gene(GenBank number: MG516570) was 1 323 bp in length,contains a complete CDS region(34-1 323 bp) and codes 429 amino acids with 100% homology to the MITF of Anas platyrhynchos and over 95% homology to those of Gallus gallus and Coturnix *** evolution analysis reveals a close relationship of Liancheng white ducks with ***,and also to lesser extents with Anser cygnoides,silky fowl and ***,as well as Sus scrofa,Ovis aries and other ***-time quantitative PCR(qPCR) analysis demonstrated that MITF was expressed in skin,gizzard,liver,kidney and muscle,and of these tissues,its expression was the highest in the skin tissue(skin>gizzard>liver>kidney>muscle).Ultraviolet spectrophotometry showed that melanin deposition was positively correlated with the MITF expression level in these five tissues and organs(P<0.05).Together,these results demonstrated a tissue-specific pattern of MITF expression and a positive correlation between MITF expression and melanin deposition,indicating that MITF expression may contribute to the melanin deposition in Liancheng white ducks.

Multiple-point statistics(MPS)is a useful approach to reconstruct three-dimensional models in the macroscopic or microscopic *** spatial features for three-dimensional reconstruction from two-dimensional training images(TIs),and characterizing non-stationary features with directional ductility are two key issues in MPS *** study presents a step-wise MPS-based three-dimensional structures reconstruction algorithm with the sequential process and hierarchical strategy based on two-dimensional *** extension method is proposed to construct three-dimensional *** a sequential simulation process,an initial guess at the coarsest scale is simulated,in which hierarchical strategy is used according to the characteristics of *** obtain a more refined realization,an expectation-maximization like iterative process with global optimization is implemented.A concrete example of chondrite micro-structure simulation,in which one scanning electron microscopy(SEM)image of the Heyetang meteorite is used as TI,shows that the presented algorithm can simulate complex non-stationary structures.

Protocol Format Extraction Based on an Improved CFSM Algorithm

As the information technology rapidly develops,many network applications appear and their communication protocols are *** many protocol keyword recognition based protocol reverse engineering methods have been proposed,most of the keyword recognition algorithms are time *** paper firstly uses the traffic clustering method F-DBSCAN to cluster the unknown protocol *** an improved CFSM(Closed Frequent Sequence Mining)algorithm is used to mine closed frequent sequences from the messages and identify protocol ***,CFGM(Closed Frequent Group Mining)algorithm is proposed to explore the parallel,sequential and hierarchical relations between the protocol keywords and obtain accurate protocol message *** results show that the proposed protocol formats extraction method is better than Apriori algorithm and Sequence alignment algorithm in terms of time complexity and it can achieve high keyword recognition ***,based on the relations between the keywords,the method can obtain accurate protocol *** with the protocol formats obtained from the existing methods,our protocol format can better grasp the overall structure of target protocols and the results perform better in the application of protocol reverse engineering such as fuzzing test.

The activity of proteinase is reported to correlate with the development and progression of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Puromycin-sensitive aminopeptidase(PSA/NPEPPS)is an integral nontransmembrane enzyme that functions to catalyze the cleavage of amino acids near the N-terminus of polypeptides.A previous study suggested that this enzyme acts as a regulator of neuropeptide activity;however,the metabolic function of this enzyme in the liver has not been ***,we identified the novel role of PSA in hepatic lipid ***,PSA expression was lower in fatty livers from NAFLD patients and mice(HFD,ob/ob,and db/db).PSA knockdown in cultured hepatocytes exacerbated diet-induced triglyceride accumulation through enhanced lipogenesis and attenuated fatty acid β-***,PSA mediated activation of the master regulator of antioxidant response,nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(NRF2),by stabilizing NRF2 protein expression,which further induced downstream antioxidant enzymes to protect the liver from oxidative stress and lipid ***,liver-specific PSA overexpression attenuated hepatic lipid accumulation and steatosis in ob/ob ***,in human liver tissue samples,decreased PSA expression correlated with the progression of ***,our findings suggest that PSA is a pivotal regulator of hepatic lipid metabolism and its antioxidant function occurs by suppressing NRF2 ***,PSA may be a potential biomarker and therapeutic target for treating NAFLD.
