Using Hodge theory and Banach fixed point theorem,Liu and zhu developed a global method to deal with various problems in deformation *** this note,the authors generalize Liu-zhu's method to treat two deformation problems for non-Kahler *** apply the ■■-Hodge theory to construct a deformation formula for(p,q)-forms of compact complex manifold under deformations,which can be used to study the Hodge number of complex manifold under *** the second part of this note,by using the ■■-Hodge theory,they provide a simple proof of the unobstructed deformation theorem for the non-Kahler Calabi-Yau ■■-manifolds.

Conductive ferroelectric domain walls have attracted increasing research interest in the field of nanoelectronics,and the fabrication technique for such domain walls is *** this study,we investigated in detail the fabrication of conductive domain walls in x-cut congruent thin-film lithium niobate(TFLN)using an electrical-field poling *** ferroelectric domain structures can be controlled through the applied electrical field and applied pulse numbers,and the domain inversion process is related to the conduction characteristics of the domain *** domain structures in TFLN are revealed using confocal second-harmonic microscopy and piezoresponse force *** results provide further directions for the development and application of conductive domain walls in TFLN.

Lung transplantation is the only deﬁnitive ther-apy for end-stage pulmonary *** than 20%of offered lungs are successfully transplanted due to a limited ischemic time window and poor donor lung quality man-ifested by pulmonary edema,hypoxia,or ***,poor donor organ recovery and utilization are signiﬁcant barriers to wider implementation of the life-saving therapy of *** ischemia reperfusion injury(IRI)is often identiﬁed as the underlying molecular insult leading to immediate poor lung function in the post-operative period,this injury encompasses several pathways of cellular injury in addition to the recruitment of the innate immune system to the site of injury to propagate this inflammatory *** is a central molecular inflammatory pathway that is the most signiﬁcant contributor to injury in this early post-operative *** is another form of pro-grammed cell death and is often associated with *** mitigation of pyroptosis in the early post-operative period following lung transplantation is a potential novel way to prevent poor allograft function and improve outcomes for all *** we detail the pyroptotic pathway,its importance in lung transplantation,and several therapeutic modalities that can mitigate this harmful inflammatory pathway.

The increasing demand for short charging time on electric vehicles has motivated realization of fast chargeable lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,shortening the charging time of LIBs is limited by Li^(+)intercalation process consisting of liquid-phase diffusion,de-solvation,SEI crossing,and solid-phase ***,we propose a new strategy to accelerate the de-solvation step through a control of interaction between polymeric binder and solvent-Li^(+)*** this purpose,three alkali metal ions(Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+))substituted carboxymethyl cellulose(Li-,Na-,and K-CMC)are prepared to examine the effects of metal ions on their *** lowest activation energy of de-solvation and the highest chemical diffusion coefficient were observed for ***,Li-CMC cell with a capacity of 3 mAh cm^(-2)could be charged to>95%in 10 min,while a value above>85%was observed after 150 ***,the presented approach holds great promise for the realization of fast charging.

Comparative metabolomics plays a crucial role in investigating gene function,exploring metabolite evolution,and accelerating crop genetic ***,a systematic platform for intra-and crossspecies comparison of metabolites is currently ***,we report the Plant Comparative Metabolome Database(PCMD;http://***/PCMD),a multilevel comparison database based on predicted metabolic profiles of 530 plant *** PCMD serves as a platform for comparing metabolite characteristics at various levels,including species,metabolites,pathways,and biological *** database also provides a number of user-friendly online tools,such as species comparison,metabolite enrichment,and ID conversion,enabling users to perform comparisons and enrichment analyses of metabolites across different *** addition,the PCMD establishes a unified system based on existing metabolite-related databases by standardizing metabolite *** PCMD is the most speciesrich comparative plant metabolomics database currently available,and a case study demonstrates its ability to provide new insights into plant metabolic diversity.

Pathological vascular remodeling is a hallmark of various vascular *** research has established the significance of andrographolide in maintaining gastric vascular homeostasis and its pivotal role in modulating endothelial barrier dysfunction,which leads to pathological vascular *** dehydroandrographolide succinate(PDA),a derivative of andrographolide,has been clinically utilized in the treatment of inflammatory diseases precipitated by viral *** study investigates the potential of PDA in regulating pathological vascular *** effect of PDA on vascular remodeling was assessed through the complete ligation of the carotid artery in C57BL/6 *** approaches,including rat aortic primary smooth muscle cell culture,flow cytometry,bromodeoxyuridine(BrdU)incorporation assay,Boyden chamber cell migration assay,spheroid sprouting assay,and Matrigel-based tube formation assay,were employed to evaluate the influence of PDA on the proliferation and motility of smooth muscle cells(SMCs).Molecular docking simulations and co-immunoprecipitation assays were conducted to examine protein *** results revealed that PDA exacerbates vascular injury-induced pathological remodeling,as evidenced by enhanced neointima *** treatment significantly increased the proliferation and migration of *** mechanistic studies disclosed that PDA upregulated myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88)expression in SMCs and interacted with T-cadherin(CDH13).This interaction augmented proliferation,migration,and extracellular matrix deposition,culminating in pathological vascular *** findings underscore the critical role of PDA in the regulation of pathological vascular remodeling,mediated through the MyD88/CDH13 signaling pathway.

BACKGROUND Malignant obstructive jaundice(MOJ)is a condition characterized by varying degrees of bile duct stenosis and obstruction,accompanied by the progressive development of malignant tumors,leading to high morbidity and mortality ***,the two most commonly employed methods for its management are percutaneous transhepatic bile duct drainage(PTBD)and endoscopic ultrasound-guided biliary drainage(EUS-BD).While both methods have demonstrated favorable outcomes,additional research needs to be performed to determine their relative *** compare the therapeutic effectiveness of EUS-BD and PTBD in treating *** This retrospective analysis,conducted between September 2015 and April 2023 at The Third Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University(The First People’s Hospital of Changzhou),involved 68 patients with *** patients were divided into two groups on the basis of surgical procedure received:EUS-BD subgroup(n=33)and PTBD subgroup(n=35).Variables such as general data,preoperative and postoperative indices,blood routine,liver function indices,myocardial function indices,operative success rate,clinical effectiveness,and complication rate were analyzed and compared between the *** In the EUS-BD subgroup,hospital stay duration,bile drainage volume,effective catheter time,and clinical effect-iveness rate were superior to those in the PTBD subgroup,although the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The puncture time for the EUS-BD subgroup was shorter than that for the PTBD subgroup(P<0.05).Postoperative blood routine,liver function index,and myocardial function index in the EUS-BD subgroup were significantly lower than those in the PTBD subgroup(P<0.05).Additionally,the complication rate in the EUS-BD subgroup was lower than in the PTBD subgroup(P<0.05).CONCLUSION EUS-BD may reduce the number of punctures,improve liver and myocardial functions,alleviate traumatic stress,and decrease complication rates in MOJ treatment

Background Chicken is one of the most numerous and widely distributed species around the world,and many studies support the multiple ancestral origins of domestic *** research regarding the yellow skin phenotype in domestic chickens(regulated by BCO2)likely originating from the grey junglefowl serves as crucial evidence for demonstrating the multiple origins of ***,beyond the BCO2 gene region,much remains unknown about the introgression from the grey junglefowl into domestic ***,in this study,based on wholegenome data of 149 samples including 4 species of wild junglefowls and 13 local domestic chicken breeds,we explored the introgression events from the grey junglefowl to domestic *** We successfully detected introgression regions besides BCO2,including two associated with growth trait(IGFBP2 and TKT),one associated with angiogenesis(TIMP3)and two members of the heat shock protein family(HSPB2 and CRYAB).Our findings suggest that the introgression from the grey junglefowl may impact the growth performance of ***,we revealed introgression events from grey junglefowl at the BCO2 region in multiple domestic chicken breeds,indicating a phenomenon where the yellow skin phenotype likely underwent strong selection and was ***,our haplotype analysis shed light on BCO2 introgression event from different sources of grey junglefowl into domestic chickens,possibly suggesting multiple genetic flows between the grey junglefowl and domestic *** In summary,our findings provide evidences of the grey junglefowl contributing to the genetic diversity of domestic chickens,laying the foundation for a deeper understanding of the genetic composition within domestic chickens,and offering new perspectives on the impact of introgression on domestic chickens.
