Ferritic/martensitic(F/M)steel is widely used as a structural material in thermal and nuclear power ***,it is susceptible to intergranular damage,which is a critical issue,under service *** this study,to improve the resistance to intergranular damage of F/M steel,a thermomechanical process(TMP)was employed to achieve a grain boundary engineering(GBE)microstructure in F/M steel *** TMP,including cold-rolling thickness reduction of 6%,9%,and 12%,followed by austenitization at 1323 K for 40 min and tempering at 1053 K for 45 min,was applied to the as-received(AR)P92 *** prior austenite grain(PAG)size,prior austenite grain boundary character distribution(GBCD),and connectivity of prior austenite grain boundaries(PAGBs)were *** to the AR specimen,the PAG size did not change *** fraction of coincident site lattice boundaries(CSLBs,3≤Σ≤29)and Σ3^(n) boundaries along PAGBs decreased with increasing reduction ratio because the recrystallization fraction increased with increasing reduction *** PAGB connectivity of the 6%deformed specimen slightly deteriorated compared with that of the AR ***,potentiodynamic polarization studies revealed that the intergranular damage resistance of the studied steel could be improved by increasing the fraction of CSLBs along the PAGBs,indicating that the TMP,which involves low deformation,could enhance the intergranular damage resistance.

Two-dimensional MoSe_(2) is a promising candidate for lithium-ion battery ***,its conductivity and lithium storage volumetric effect still need to be *** this work,W-doped MoSe_(2)/rGO paper-like microspheres are successfully prepared through ultrasonic spray pyrolysis,achieving optimization at both the microstructure and mesostructure to enhance the lithium storage performance of the ***,by utilizing the similar two-dimensional structure between MoSe_(2) and rGO,self-assembly is achieved through spray pyrolysis,resulting in a well-defined van der Waals heterostructure at the interface on the microscale,enhancing the electron and ion transfer capability of the ***,the mesoscale paper-like microsphere morphology provides additional volume expansion buffering ***,W-doping not only increases the interlayer spacing of MoSe_(2)(0.73 nm),thereby reducing the diffusion resistance of Li+,but also allow for the modulation of the energy band structure of the *** functional theory(DFT)calculations confirm that W-doped MoSe_(2)/rGO exhibits the narrowest bandgap(0.892 eV).Therefore,the composite demonstrates excellent lithium storage performance,maintaining a specific capacity of 732.9 mAh·g^(-1)after 300 cycles at a current density of 1 A·g^(-1).

Long-term operation optimization of circulating cooling water systems under fouling conditions

Fouling caused by excess metal ions in hard water can negatively impact the performance of the circulating cooling water system(CCWS)by depositing ions on the heat exchanger's ***,the operation optimization of CCWS often prioritizes short-term flow velocity optimization for minimizing power consumption,without considering ***,low flow velocity promotes ***,it's crucial to balance fouling and energy/water conservation for optimal CCWS long-term *** study proposes a mixed-integer nonlinear programming(MINLP)model to achieve this *** model considers fouling in the pipeline,dynamic concentration cycle,and variable frequency drive to optimize the synergy between heat transfer,pressure drop,and *** optimizing the concentration cycle of the CCWS,water conservation and fouling control can be *** model can obtain the optimal operating parameters for different operation intervals,including the number of pumps,frequency,and valve local resistance *** experiments on cycle and environmental temperature reveal that as the cycle increases,the marginal benefits of energy/water conservation *** periods with minimal impact on fouling rate,energy/water conservation can be achieved by increasing the cycle while maintaining a low fouling ***,the proposed model has significant energy/water saving effects and can comprehensively optimize the CCWS through its incorporation of fouling and cycle optimization.

Free-space quantum key distribution(QKD) plays an important role in the global quantum network. However, free space channels suffer from the atmospheric turbulence and scattering effects of haze,fog, and dust, which significantly weaken the performance of QKD or even block the secure quantum ***, we prove the performance of QKD over a dynamic scattering channel can be enhanced significantly using a fast wavefront shaping technique. The system achieves on average 10-dB enhancement of quantum transmission efficiency and establishes a secure quantum link for QKD. Our work demonstrates the feasibility of QKD through free-space dynamic scattering channels and enhances the deployment capability of complex-channel QKD system.

BACKGROUND:Whether a major liver resection is safe has been judged mainly from the patient’s hepatic ***,a safe limit for liver resection does not exist *** study aimed to construct a new scoring system as a guide to determine a safe limit for liver resection and avoid liver dysfunction after ***:Eighty-six patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who had undergone hepatectomy in West China Hospital from March 2007 to June 2010 were *** patients were classified according to the levels of total bilirubin after hepatectomy and the parameters in the perioperative period were *** operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was made to assess the liver function compensatory (LFC) value to predict liver dysfunction of the patients after *** value is defined as the preoperative KICG value×22.487+standard remnant liver volume (SRLV)×***:Patients were classified into group Ⅰ (normal group,n=69) and group Ⅱ (with total bilirubin >85.5 μmol/L for 7 days after hepatectomy,n=17) based on the levels of total bilirubin after *** II was further divided into two subgroups:recovered subgroup (n=14) and fatal subgroup (n=3).There were no significant differences in preoperative data or intraoperative findings except the indocyanine green test parameters (KICG and ICG R15) and *** analysis showed that the sensitivity and specificity of an LFC value ≤13.01 were 94.1% and 82.6% respectively for predicting liver dysfunction of the patients after ***:The LFC value appears to be a good predictor of postoperative liver dysfunction in patients who undergo hepatectomy for *** expected LFC value of 13.01 seems to be a safe limit for liver resection.

To generate dance that temporally and aesthetically matches the music is a challenging problem in three ***,the generated motion should be beats-aligned to the local musical ***,the global aesthetic style should be matched between motion and *** third,the generated motion should be diverse and *** address these challenges,we propose ReChoreoNet,which re-choreographs high-quality dance motion for a given piece of music.A data-driven learning strategy is proposed to efficiently correlate the temporal connections between music and motion in a progressively learned cross-modality embedding *** beats-aligned content motion will be subsequently used as autoregressive context and control signal to control a normalizing-flow model,which transfers the style of a prototype motion to the final generated *** addition,we present an aesthetically labelled music-dance repertoire(MDR)for both efficient learning of the cross-modality embedding,and understanding of the aesthetic connections between music and *** demonstrate that our repertoire-based framework is robustly extensible in both content and *** quantitative and qualitative experiments have been carried out to validate the efficiency of our proposed model.

BACKGROUND： Sepsis and secondary multiple organ failure in critically ill patients are the major cause of death, but the pathogenesis of sepsis is not clear, especially the dysfunction of the immune system. In this paper, we review the response and regulation of the immune system and the functions of a variety of inflammatory mediators in sepsis. DATA SOURCES Studies were identified by searching MEDLINE and PubMed for articles using the keywords ＂sepsis＂, ＂immune response＂, and ＂inflammatory mediator＂ up to October 2010. Additional papers were identified by a manual search of the references from the key ***： This systematic review was conducted of： 1） the immune response; 2） immune regulation; 3） inflammatory mediators; 4） high-mobility group box 1 protein; 5） the complement system; and 6） the autonomic nervous system. There are no therapeutic approaches available for sepsis that target inflammatory response; the mortality of sepsis has not been significantly reduced. Sepsis is complex and dynamic, and it has a group of heterogeneous ***： Since different patients with sepsis have different etiology, susceptibility, and responses, treatment should be prescribed individually.

Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)is considered to be one of the most promising additive manufacturing technologies for producing components with geometries and high geometrical precision that are unattainable by traditional *** superalloy exhibits exceptional mechanical and high-temperature performances,rendering it a prime candidate for advanced aero-engine *** the high demand for LPBF-manufactured superalloys,the superalloy is one of the materials manufactured difficultly by LPBF due to their large laser absorptivity fluctuation,poor molten pool stability and sharp temperature ***,superalloys are characterized by severe pores,undesirable coarse columnar grains and poor mechanical *** this work,the effect of nano-TiN particles on defects,molten pool characteristics and microstructure and performance of the composites were *** 4.5 wt%TiN/Haynes230 samples exhibited exceptional nanohardness and elastic modulus with maximum values reaching 5.53 GPa and 240.03 GPa,*** superior mechanical properties were attributed to the combined effects of spatter and gas pore inhibition,grain refinement and duplex nanophases ***,the stability of molten pool was enhanced,and spatter was effectively suppressed by adding nano-TiN particles,while grain refinement and columnar to equiaxed transitions were ***,the matrix exhibited a high dislocation density due to a significant hindrance of dislocation movement caused by massive nano-phases(e.g.,TiN and M_(23)C_(6)),resulting in the formation of extensive dislocation tangles and *** work offers novel insights into the role of nanoparticles reinforced superalloy composites by LPBF.
