The silver-dppm complex, [Ag2（dppm）2（NMP）2]（SbF6）2-4H2O-3CH2Cl2 1 （NMP = 2- （4-dimethylaminophenyl）imidazo（4,5-f）（1,10）phenanthroline, dppm = diphenylphosphinomethane）, was synthesized and its structure was determined by X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group C2/c, Mr = 2461.61, a = 21.57（10）, b = 22.48（6）, c = 22.53（6）A, β= 101.29（2）°, V= 10713（64）A^3, Z= 4, Dc= 1.526 g/cm^3,μ= 1.141mm^-1, F（000） = 4920, R =0.0664 and wR = 0.1774 for 8524 observed reflections （1 〉 2σ（I））. Complex 1 exists as a centrosymmetric dimmer. The two dppm molecules bridge two AgNMP moieties to form an eight-membered Ag2P4C2 metallacyclic ring with ligand NMP chelating to each Ag. It appears photoluminescence （λmax = 625 nm） at room temperature and makes red shift compared with free ligand NMP （λmax = 522 nm）. DFF calculation indicates that the emission of 1 originates from singlet metal-perturbed ILCT excited state.

This article proposes a spatial multiplexing and diversity joint transmit structure for multiple input multiple output（MIMO） - orthogonal frequency division multiplexing （OFDM） system. The structure uses space-frequency block coding （SFBC） over all its spatial multiplexing layers to obtain both space diversity and frequency diversity gain. The article derives a monte carlo probabilistic data association （PDA） detector to obtain a better bit error rate （BER） performance when compared to the generic PDA detector. Computer simulation results show that the proposed detector can reduce the inter-symbol interference（ISI） greatly, improve the system performance significantly, and lower the computation complexity to a proper lever.

The cloud operating system （cloud OS） is used for managing the cloud resources such that they can be used effectively and efficiently. And also it is the duty of cloud OS to provide convenient interface for users and applications. However, these two goals are often conflicting because convenient abstraction usually needs more computing resources. Thus, the cloud OS has its own characteristics of resource management and task scheduling for supporting various kinds of cloud applications. The evolution of cloud OS is in fact driven by these two often conflicting goals and finding the right tradeoff between them makes each phase of the evolution happen. In this paper, we have investigated the ways of cloud OS evolution from three different aspects： enabling technology evolution, OS architecture evolution and cloud ecosystem evolution. We show that finding the appropriate APIs （application programming interfaces） is critical for the next phase of cloud OS evolution. Convenient interfaces need to be provided without scarifying efficiency when APIs are chosen. We present an API-driven cloud OS practice, showing the great capability of APIs for developing a better cloud OS and helping build and run the cloud ecosystem healthily.

Objective To estimate the dietary melamine exposure in Chinese infants and young children from the consumption of melamine adulterated Sanlu infant formula. Methods Four age groups of infants and young children （3, 6, 12, and 24 months） were chosen as the assessed subjects and the maximum amount of infant formula consumption was estimated based on the recommended usage level in the package insert of Sanlu infant formula and other brands. Melamine was analyzed in 111 Sanlu infant fbrmula samples collected from the markets in Beijing and Gansu province using the LC-MS-MS with a limit of quantification of 0.05 mg/kg. Four levels of melamine concentration were chosen to estimate the dietary intakes, including the mean, median, 90th percentile, and maximum. Results The infants of 3 months had the highest intake of melamine, and with the increase of the age （inonth）, the intake decreased. Based on the median melamine concentration （1 000 mg/kg） as an example, the melamine intakes fur the infants of 3, 6, 12, and 24 months were 23.4, 21.4, 15.0, and 8.6 mg/kg bw/d, respectively. Conclusion Dietary melamine intakes from tainted Sanln infant formula significantly exceeded the TDI level （0.2 mg/kg bw/d） recommended by the WHO Expert Meeting in 2008. However, the present assessment has some limitations including the poor representative samples, the varied melamine concentrations in the adulterated Sanlu infant formula, and other brand infant formula possibly consumed by these infants.

Bromine is an irreplaceable reagent for many important applications including necessary additive for flame retardants and rubber ***,the toxicity,causticity,and vaporability of bromine make the safe usage and transportation of bromine challenging,which can be alleviated by the bromine ***,vacancy-ordered bromide perovskites such as Cs^(4)Sb_(2)Br_(12)and Cs_(2)PdBr_(6)are selected out for the bromine fixation through density-functional theory calculations and *** redox within the bromide perovskites is designed to provide the driving force for the reversible release and fixation of *** and cooling the title bromide perovskites in a necked ampoule make the bromine visible and separable from the solid *** composition engineering(i.e.,Cs_(4)Sb_(2)Br_(12)vs Rb_(4)Sb_(2)Br_(12),and Cs_(4)Sb_(2)Br_(12)vs Cs_(2)PdBr_(6))can effectively tune the stability(against water and high temperature)and the bromine storage capacity(from9.30%to 18.76%).In addition,this work can provide a one-step preparation method for the liquid bromine without further purification.

An Asian population-based survival analysis of patients with distal esophageal and gastric cardia adenocarcinomas

Background Gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinomas include adenocarcinomas of the distal esophagus （DE） and gastric cardia （GC）. It is controversial whether these tumors are the same entity and whether they have the same survival rates. Patients with DE and GC adenocarcinomas have a similar survival rate in the US; however, data are lacking in Asian countries. Therefore, we conducted a retrospective study to understand the implications of the tumor location in the survival of Asian patients. Methods A total of 209 patients with pathologically confirmed DE and GC adenocarcinomas, from 2005 to 2007, were included in the study. We identified patients with adenocarcinomas of the DE （DE group, n=91） and GC （GC group）（n=118）, We performed an unadjusted survival analysis using the Kaplan-Meier method, and used a Cox proportional hazards regression model to adjust for potential confounding covariates. Results We found no significant difference between the overall survival of the DE and GC groups. The 3-year survival rates were 44.8% and 53.0%, respectively, and the 5-year survival rates were 27.9% and 30.2%, respectively （P=0.162）. We found no significant difference in early staging, advanced staging, different T staging, and different N staging, between the groups. Both advanced post-operative N staging and advanced AJCC staging had a significant adverse effect on survival. Conclusions Patients with DE and GC adenocarcinomas have similar survival rates in the Asian population. Both post-operative N staging and AJCC staging are prognostic factors.

To better understand the interaction between Schistosoma japonicum and its murine host,wecharacterized the immune response of CD4~+ T cells generated during an experimental *** infectionbased on different key aspects,from gene expression to cell *** oligonucleotide microarrayswere used to compare gene expression profiles of CD4~+ T cells from spleens of mice at 0,3,6 and 13weeks *** cytometry analysis was used to determine type 1 and type 2 cytokine-secretingCD4~+ T cells,to test apoptosis of CD4~+ T cells and to count CD4~+CD25~+ T cells,a kind of regulatorysubpopulation of CD4~+ T *** percentage of interleukin-4-producing CD4~+ T cells was found to bemuch higher than that of γ-interferon-producing cells,especially after stimulation with *** eggantigen,which was consistent with type 1 and type 2 cytokine gene expression in the *** also showed that *** induced the increased expression of Th2 response-related genes,whereassome transcripts related to the Th1 responsive pathway were *** cytometry analysis showeda marked increase in the apoptotic CD4~+ T cells from 6 weeks post-infection and in the ratio of CD4~+CD25~+to CD4~+ T cells in infected mice after 13 *** therefore concluded that experimental infection of micewith *** resulted in a Th2-skewed immune response,which was to a great extent monitored bythe immune regulatory network,including cytokine cross-modulation,cell apoptosis and the subpopulationof regulatory cells.

The depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite still lacked in-depth ***,the depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite was further systematically investigated with experiments and density functional theory(DFT)*** X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy(XPS)results,DFT calculation results,and frontier molecular orbital analysis indicated that sulfite ions were difficult to be adsorbed on sphalerite surface,suggesting that sulfite ions achieved depression effects on sphalerite through other non-adsorption ***,the oxygen content in the surface of sphalerite treated with sulfite ions in creased,which enhanced the hydrophilicity of the sphalerite and further increased the difference in hydrophilicity between sphalerite and ***,sulfite ions were chelated with lead ions to form PbSO_(3)in *** hydrophilic PbSO_(3)was more easily adsorbed on sphalerite than *** interaction between sulfite ions and lead ions could effectively inhibit the activation of *** addition the UV spectrum showed that after adding sulfite ions,the peak of perxanthate in the sphalerite treated xanthate solution was significantly stronger than that in the galena with xanthate solution,indicating that xanthate interacted more readily with sulfite ions and oxygen mo lecules within the sphalerite system,leading to the formation of ***,sulfite ions hardly depressed the flotation of ga lena and could promote the flotation of galena to some *** study deepened the understanding of the depression mechanism o sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite.

Clinical efficacy of the topical application of tranexamic acid in tendon release in the hand:A randomized controlled trial

Purpose:To study the clinical effectiveness of the topical application of tranexamic acid in hand tendon ***:This was a randomized controlled trial conducted after receiving approval from the local ethics committee according to guidelines from the Helsinki *** patients who underwent hand tendon release operation in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were included and randomly divided into 2 *** in the tranexamic acid group(40 cases)received intraoperative topical application of 2 g of tranexamic acid after tendon release,while patients in the conventional group(40 cases)did not receive topical application of tranexamic acid during *** operation time,perioperative hemoglobin changes,total blood loss,incidence of early postoperative complications,and total active movement(TAM)before surgery and 6 months after surgery were compared between the 2 *** continuous variable which follows normal distribution expressed by mean±SD and used t-test to compare between ***,categorical variables were used by Chi-square test,and a p<0.05 indicated that the differences were statistically ***:Both groups were followed up for 7-18 months,with a mean of 10.3 *** decrease in hemoglobin was significantly less in the tranexamic acid group than in the conventional group(t=7.611,p<0.001).The total blood loss in the tranexamic acid group(74.33±20.50)mL was less than that in the conventional group(83.05±17.73)mL,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Both groups showed improvement in thumb/finger flexion and extension range of motion after surgery,and the TAM improved compared with those before surgery,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.001).The TAM improved more significantly in the tranexamic acid group(87.68°±10.44°)than in the conventional group(80.47°±10.93°)at 6 months after surgery,with a statistically significant difference(t=3.013,p<0.0
