Photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline by copper(I)oxide loaded on Daylily Stalk derived carbon material

In this work,Daylily Stalks derived N doped carbon material(N-DSC)with a high specific surface area was firstly prepared by a chemical activation method,and then cubic Cu_(2)O nanoparticles were combined with the prepared N-DSC to obtain N-DSC/Cu_(2)O composite as the catalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline(TC)antibiotics under visible *** is found that the obtained composite had higher photocatalytic activity than pure Cu_(2)***,25 wt%N-DSC/Cu_(2)O composite showed the highest photocatalytic performance with 95%of TC degradation within 100 min and more excellent *** with various characterizations,it is confirmed that carbon bonds should be conducive to the separation of photoelectron and hole,and the carbon layer with an excellent electrical conductivity on Cu_(2)O can reduce the charge transfer resistance between N-DSC and Cu_(2)O,thereby improving the absorption of visible light and enhancing the photocatalytic ***,it is considered that the synergistic effect of photo-generated electron pair in Cu_(2)O and N-DSC could promote the photodegradation efficiency of N-DSC/Cu_(2)O *** addition,the active species capture experiment confirmed that•OH and•O_(2)􀀀should be the main active species for TC degradation under visible *** study is expected to provide a novel low-cost photocatalysts for pollutants removal.

Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of Sanjie Analgesic Capsule(SAC)in Chinese patients with endometriosis-associated ***:This was a multicenter,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled trial conducted at 15 centers between November 2013 and July 2017 in *** 323 patients with endometriosis were randomized at a 3:1 ratio to the SAC group(241 cases)and placebo group(82 cases)by stratified block *** in the SAC or placebo groups were given SAC or placebo 1.6 g 3 times per day,orally,respectively since the first day of menstruation for 3 consecutive menstrual *** primary endpoint was clinical response to dysmenorrhea evaluated using a 10-point Visual Analogue Scale at 3 and 6 *** secondary endpoint was the pain score evaluated by VAS(chronic pelvic pain,defecation pain,and dyspareunia)at 3 and 6 months,and the pain recurrence rate at 6 *** events(AEs)were recorded during the ***:A total of 241 women were included in the SAC group,and 82 were in the placebo *** these women,217(90.0%)and 71(86.6%)completed the intervention,*** 3 months,overall response rate(ORR)was significantly higher in women administered SAC(80.1%)compared with those who received a placebo(30.5%,P<0.01).Six months after treatment,the ORR for dysmenorrhea was 62.7%in the SAC group and 31.7%in the placebo group(P<0.01).Chronic pelvic pain and defecation pain were significantly improved by SAC compared with placebo(both P<0.05).The incidence rates of total AEs events in the SAC and placebo groups were 6.6%and 9.8%,respectively,and no significant difference was shown between the two groups(P=0.339).Conclusion:SAC is well-tolerated and may improve dysmenorrhea in women with endometriosis-associated pain.

The global trend towards new energy storage systems has stimulated the development of electrochemical energy storage *** these technologies,rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have attracted considerable interest as a potential alternative to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to their affordable cost,environmental compatibility and high safety *** this study,a high-quality electrode for AZIBs has been successfully developed using a dehydrated mixed-valence polyoxometalate-based three-dimensional(3D)inorganic framework material known as[H_6Mn_(3)V^Ⅳ_(15)V-^Ⅴ_(4O)_(46)(H_2O)_(12)](3D-MnVO).This innovative 3D-MnVO material is built from the alternate connections of{V_(19)O_(46)}"sphere-shaped"clusters andμ_(2)-{Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)}bridges,where each{V_(19)O_(46)}cluster is surrounded by three pairs of vertically distributed{Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)}units,thus resulting in the 3D interpenetrating grid-like network from the infinite[-{V_(19)O_(46)}-μ_(2)-Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)-{V_(19)O_(46)}]_∞chains in three mutually perpendicular *** 3D framework structure of 3D-MnVO possesses abundant oxygen vacancies,spacious and multi-level interconnected channels for ion transport,which facilitates the efficient intercalation/deintercalation of hydrated Zn^(2+)into the pores of the primary structure via the intercalation capacitance *** a result,the 3D-MnVO electrode exhibits excellent diffusion rates and minimal interfacial *** a current density of 0.1 A·g^(-1),the 3D-MnVO cathode delivers a commendable discharge capacity of170.5 mAh·g^(-1)with 81.6%capacity retention after100 charge/discharge ***,even at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(-1),the 3D-MnVO electrode delivers a remarkable reversible capacity of198.9 mAh·g^(-1).Our research results provide valuable insights into the development of advanced polyoxometalate-based 3D inorganic framework electrode materials for high-performance rechargeable AZIBs.

Amylose content(AC)is a crucial determinant of the eating and cooking quality(ECQ)of rice,with low AC varieties exhibiting a softer texture and greater stickiness-attributes that enhance palatability and are desirable in specific culinary *** harness these traits,significant efforts have been made to manipulate AC to improve rice *** research utilized the MutMap+approach to identify LAC6/TL1,a gene that is an allele of Du13,responsible for low ***6 encodes a C2H2 zinc finger protein,which specifically increases the splicing efficiency of the Wxb allele without affecting the Wxa *** studies of LAC6 revealed that its proper integration could rectify the undesirable AC phenotype,whereas mutations within this gene led to reduced AC and were associated with shorter grain length and decreased thousand-grain *** these drawbacks,such mutations positively impact rice palatability,presenting a trade-off between grain size and eating *** address the challenges posed by the reduced grain weight associated with LAC6 mutations,we developed a specific molecular marker for LAC6,which has been effectively used in breeding programs to select lac6/tl1/du13 homozygous individuals with larger grain *** findings demonstrate that the“small grain”trait associated with lac6/tl1/du13 can be effectively mitigated through combined phenotype-based and marker-assisted *** study highlights the potential of lac6/tl1/du13 as a valuable gene for breeding novel,high-quality soft rice varieties through targeted breeding strategies.
