To study the diverse coordination modes of the H_2btib,three new coordination architectures,namely, [Ag（Hbtib）CH_3CN]_n（1）,）[Ag（Hbtib）]_n（2） and[Pb（btib）（CH_3OH）_2]_n（3）（where H_2btib=4-（（2-butyl-5-（2- carboxy-3-（thiophen-2-yl）prop-1-enyl）-1H-imidazol-1-yl）methyl）benzoic acid） have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,IR spectrum and single-crystal X-ray *** 1 exhibits 1D single chain structure,while 2 shows 1D double metal chain motif,and 3 features a 2D layer ***,1,2 and 3 display strong emission band in the solid state at room temperature.

In this study, novel mono/di-nuclear Cu（p-2-bmb）（OH）（Cl O4）（1） and Co2（p-2-bmb）2Cl4（2）（p-2-bmb = 1-（（2-（pyridin-2-yl）-benzoimidazol-1-yl）methyl）-1H-benzotriazole） complexes with the nitrogen heterocyclic benzimidazole-based ligand were synthesized and characterized. The two complexes showed antiproliferative effects in various carcinoma cell lines, especially complex 1 in the SMMC7721 tumor cell line. Complex 1 was also able to pass through the cell membrane and enter the nucleus and mitochondrion. An analysis of in vitro chemical nuclease activity revealed that complex 1 partially intercalated to calf thymus DNA and exhibited strong unwinding activity against p BR322 superhelical plasmid DNA. The comet assay and flow cytometry analysis confirmed that 1 caused extensive DNA damage and arrested SMMC7721 tumor cells at G2/M phase of the cell cycle, leading to loss of mitochondrial membrane potential and apoptosis. These results suggest that these benzimidazole-based metal complexes could be potential anti-cancer agents.

Seismic fragility analysis(SFA)is known as an effective probabilistic-based approach used to evaluate seismic *** are various sources of uncertainties associated with this approach.A nuclear power plant(NPP)system is an extremely important infrastructure and contains many structural uncertainties due to construction issues or structural deterioration during *** of structural uncertainties effects is a costly and time-consuming endeavor.A novel approach to SFA for the NPP considering structural uncertainties based on the damage state is proposed and *** results suggest that considering the structural uncertainties is essential in assessing the fragility of the NPP structure,and the impact of structural uncertainties tends to increase with the state of ***,machine learning(ML)is found to be superior in high-precision damage state identification of the NPP for reducing the time of nonlinear time-history analysis(NLTHA)and could be applied in the damage state-based ***,the impact of various sources of uncertainties is investigated through sensitivity *** Sobol and Shapley additive explanations(SHAP)method can be complementary to each other and able to solve the problem of quantifying seismic and structural uncertainties simultaneously and the interaction effect of each parameter.

A mixed oxidant of chlorine dioxide(ClO_(2))and NaClO was often used in water treatment.A novel UVA-LED(_(365) nm)-activated mixed ClO_(2)/NaClO process was proposed for the degradation of micropollutants in this ***(CBZ)was selected as the target *** with the UVA_(365)/ClO_(2) process,the UVA_(365)/ClO_(2)/NaClO process can improve the degradation of CBZ,with the rate constant increasing from 2.11×10^(−4) sec^(−1) to 2.74×10^(−4) sec^(−1).In addition,the consumption of oxidants in the UVA_(365)/ClO_(2)/NaClO process(73.67%)can also be lower than that of UVA_(365)/NaClO(86.42%).When the NaClO ratio increased,both the degradation efficiency of CBZ and the consumption of oxidants can increase in the UVA_(365)/ClO_(2)/NaClO *** solution pH can affect the contribution of NaClO in the total oxidant *** the pH range of 6.0-8.0,the combination process can generate more active species to promote the degradation of *** change of active species with oxidant molar ratio was investigated in the UVA_(365)/ClO_(2)/NaClO *** ClO_(2) acted as the main oxidant,HO·and Cl·were the main active species,while when NaClO was the main oxidant,ClO·played a role in the *** chloride ion(Cl^(-)),bicarbonate ion(HCO_(3)^(-)),and nitrate ion(NO_(3)^(-))can promote the reaction *** the concentration of NaClO in the reaction solution increased,the generation of chlorates will *** UVA_(365)/ClO_(2)/NaClO process can effectively control the formation of volatile disinfection by-products(DBPs),and with the increase of ClO_(2) dosage,the formation of DBPs can also decrease.

Mercury(Hg),especially methylmercury(MeHg),accumulation in rice grain due to rice paddy possessing conditions conducive to Hg methylation has led to human Hg exposure through consumption of rice-based daily *** addition to being a food staple,rice is widely used as a raw material to produce a vast variety of processed food *** is known about Hg levels in snacking rice-food products and potential Hg exposure from consumption of them,besides previous studies on infant rice *** to provide complementary information for a more complete assessment on Hg exposure risk originated from Hgcontaining rice,this study determined total Hg(THg)and MeHg levels in 195 rice-containing and rice-free processed food products covering all major types of snack foods marketed in China and the estimated daily intake(EDI)of dietary Hg from the consumption of these *** results clearly showed THg and MeHg contents in rice-containing foods were significantly higher than rice-free products,suggesting the transfer of Hg and MeHg from the rice to the end products,even after manufacturing ***,significant positive correlations were observed between THg,MeHg,or MeHg/THg ratio and rice content for samples containing multiple grains as ingredients,further indicating the deciding role of rice for Hg levels in the end food *** the EDI of THg and MeHg via ricebased food products were relatively low compared to the reference dose,it should be considered these snacking food products would contribute additive Hg intake outside of the daily regular meals.

In this paper, we use the Riemann–Hilbert(RH) method to investigate the Cauchy problem of the reverse space-time nonlocal Hirota equation with step-like initial data: q(z, 0) = o(1) as z →-∞ and q(z, 0) = δ + o(1) as z → ∞, where δ is an arbitrary positive constant. We show that the solution of the Cauchy problem can be determined by the solution of the corresponding matrix RH problem established on the plane of complex spectral parameter λ. As an example, we construct an exact solution of the reverse space-time nonlocal Hirota equation in a special case via this RH problem.

Hydrogen is a renewable and clean energy,and photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen evolution technology is a promising technical means to solve the development *** this study,the ternary composite Co_(8)POM@MXene–CdS hybrid catalyst was constructed and used for photocatalytic hydrogen *** the condition of AM 1.5G simulated sunlight,the photocatalytic H_(2) evolution rate of the ternary composite was 8.13 mmol g^(−1) h^(−1),which was more than 25 times higher than that of the bare *** means of synchronous illumination X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(SI-XPS)and density functional theory(DFT)calculations,it was proved that the loading of MXene and Co_(8)POM improved the photogenerated carrier separation and immigration efficiency on *** photogenerated electrons transfer from CdS to ***_(8)POM containing the{Co_(4)O_(3)}quasi-cubane,as an oxidation co-catalyst,accepts photogenerated holes from CdS to catalyze the oxidation reaction of TEOA,which improves the photocatalytic hydrogen production activity and the stability of CdS.

Fluorinated gases(F-gases)play a vital role in the chemical industry and in the fields of air conditioning,refrigeration,health care,and organic ***,the direct emission of waste gases containing F-gases into the atmosphere contributes to greenhouse effects and generates toxic *** porous materials for the energy-efficient capture,separation,and recovery of F-gases is highly ***,as a highly designable porous adsorbents,metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)exhibit excellent selective sorption performance toward F-gases,especially for the recognition and separation of different F-gases with highly similar properties,showing their great potential in F-gases control and *** this review,we discuss the capture and separation of F-gases and their azeotropic,near-azeotropic,and isomeric mixtures in various application scenarios by MOFs,specifically classify and analyze molecular interaction between F-gases and MOFs,and interpret the mechanisms underlying their high performance regarding both adsorption capacity and selectivity,providing a repertoire for future materials *** faced in the transformation research roadmap of MOFs adsorbent separation technologies toward F-gases are also discussed,and areas for future research endeavors are highlighted.
