Advanced Potassium-Ion Batteries with High Areal Capacity

High areal capacity is one of the critically important points for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)for practical applications,which relies on high areal-massloading electrodes operating at high reversible ***,it is remarkably restricted by the mechanical instability and sluggish charge transfer induced by the increased mass *** overcome such challenge,we report the rationally designed bimetallic selenides CoSe2/SnSe2 heterostructures confined in hierarchical carbon nanofibers(CSSe@CNFs),which enables the electrodes robust mechanical stability,enhanced electron transport,and reduced ion-diffusion energy barrier for facilitating reaction ***,an impressive areal mass loading up to 25.3 mg cm^(−2)was achieved,which endowed a high areal capacity of 7.58 mAh cm^(−2)for such a free-standing *** is stateof-the-art among the PIBs,exceeding that of today’s industry standard(∼3 mAh cm^(−2)for LIBs).Furthermore,it delivered long-term stability over 3700 cycles at high current density(∼2 mA cm^(−2),vs 1 mA cm^(−2)in LIBs).Moreover,the as-constructed full battery achieved a high energy density of 172.8 Wh kg-1 at 0.05 A g^(−1)with a satisfied cycle stability over 2000 cycles at 2 A g^(−1)and high reversibility with Coulombic efficiency of 100%;thus,signifying its bright future toward commercial application for advanced PIBs.

Yield improvement has long been an important task for soybean breeding in the world in order to meet the increasing demand for food and animal *** R396 genes have been shown to negatively regulate grain size in rice,but whether mi R396 family members may function in a similar manner in soybean is ***,we generated eight soybean mutants harboring different combinations of homozygous mutations in the six soybean mi R396genes through genome editing with clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated nuclease(Cas)12SF01 in the elite soybean cultivar Zhonghuang 302(ZH302).Four triple mutants(mir396aci,mir396acd,mir396adf,and mir396cdf),two quadruple mutants(mir396-abcd and mir396acfi),and two quintuple mutants(mir396abcdf and mir396bcdfi)were *** found that plants of all the mir396 mutants produced larger seeds compared to ZH302 *** tests showed that mir396adf and mir396cdf plants have significantly increased yield in growth zones with relatively high latitude which are suited for ZH302 and moderately increased yield in lower *** contrast,mir396abcdf and mir396bcdfiplants have increased plant height and decreased yield in growth zones with relatively high latitude due to lodging issues,but they are suited for low latitude growth zones with increased yield without lodging *** together,our study demonstrated that loss-of-function of mi R396 genes leads to significantly enlarged seed size and increased yield in soybean,providing valuable germplasms for breeding high-yield soybean.

Assessing the yield difference of double-cropping rice in South China driven by radiation use efficiency

Double-cropping rice in South China continues to break the total yield record,but the yield potential of singlecropping rice is not being *** use efficiency （RUE） has been singled out as an important determinant of grain yield in many cereal ***,there is no information on whether the yield gaps in doublecropping rice involve differences in *** experiments were performed over two years to evaluate the effects of intercepted radiation （IP） and RUE on the above-ground biomass production,crop growth rate （CGR）,and harvest index （HI）,in four representative rice varieties,i.e.,Xiangyaxiangzhan （XYXZ）,Meixiangzhan 2 （MXZ2）,Nanjingxiangzhan （NJXZ）,and Ruanhuayoujinsi （RHYJS）,during the early and late seasons of rice cultivation in South *** results revealed that grain yield in the early season was 8.2%higher than in the late *** yield advantage in the early season was primarily due to higher spikelets per panicle and above-ground biomass resulting from a higher *** spikelets per panicle in the early season were 6.5,8.3,6.9,and 8.5%higher in XYXZ,MXZ2,NJXZ,and RHYJS,respectively,than in the late *** higher early season grain yield was more closely related to RUE in the middle tillering stage （R2=0.34）,panicle initiation （R2=0.16）,and maturation stage（R2=0.28）,and the intercepted photosynthetically active radiation （IPAR） in the maturation stage （R2=0.28）,while the late season grain yield was more dependent on IPAR in the middle tillering stage （R2=0.31） and IPAR at panicle initiation （R2=0.23）.The results of this study conclusively show that higher RUE contributes to the yield progress of early season rice,while the yield improvement of late season rice is attributed to higher radiation during the early reproductive *** allocating the RUE of double-cropping rice with high RUE varieties or adjustments of the sowing period merits further study.

The optimal atropine concentration for myopia control in Chinese children: a systematic review and network Metaanalysis

Macrophages, as a subset of innate immune cells, play a pivotal role in the initiation, maintenance, and resolution of inflammatory responses during tissue damage repair, defense against infections, and tumor progression. However, the mechanisms by which macrophages regulate inflammation in acute myeloid leukemia(AML) and their involvement in the chemotherapeutic effect remain elusive. In this study, we have identified that AML cells stimulate macrophage expansion by activating the colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor(CSF1R) pathway. The expanded macrophages activate nuclear factor kappa-B(NFκ B) to induce the expression of inflammatory factors, thereby maintaining leukemic cell quiescence and promoting cell survival following chemotherapy. Furthermore, we have successfully utilized a poly(ferulic acid) nanocarrier to selectively target macrophages for inhibiting the NFκ B-mediated inflammation, ultimately enhancing chemotherapy efficacy against AML. Taken together, our findings highlight the crucial role of macrophage-induced inflammation in conferring chemoresistance to AML, and demonstrate the potential of a targeted nanocarrier specifically designed for inflammatory macrophages to improve the AML chemotherapeutic outcomes.

该研究以羊肚菌为原料,针对羊肚菌与鲜黄豆的质量比、盐添加量、发酵时间做单因素试验,进行感官评价和理化指标(总氮、氨基酸态氮、可溶性无盐固形物)测定,从而确定各因素的最佳范围。进而采用正交试验设计对羊肚菌酿造酱油的配方进行优化;同时利用主成分分析对试验结果进行分析,确定各测定指标对羊肚菌酿造酱油品质的贡献率。结果表明,羊肚菌酿造酱油的最佳配方为羊肚菌与鲜黄豆的质量比2∶1、盐添加量10%、发酵时间17 d;该配方酿造的酱油口感醇厚、香气浓郁,具有较高的营养价值和较好的保健功能;同时总氮含量和氨基酸态氮含量特征值均大于1,其累计方差贡献率为99.526%,可以作为羊肚菌酿造酱油品质的主成分进行比较分析。该研究为羊肚菌酿造酱油的工业化生产提供了理论依据和技术支持。

BACKGROUND The effect of serum iron or ferritin parameters on mortality among critically ill patients is not well *** To determine the association between serum iron or ferritin parameters and mortality among critically ill *** Web of Science,Embase,PubMed,and Cochrane Library databases were searched for studies on serum iron or ferritin parameters and mortality among critically ill *** reviewers independently assessed,selected,and abstracted data from studies reporting on serum iron or ferritin parameters and mortality among critically ill *** on serum iron or ferritin levels,mortality,and demographics were *** Nineteen studies comprising 125490 patients were eligible for *** observed a slight negative effect of serum ferritin on mortality in the United States population[relative risk(RR)1.002;95%CI:1.002-1.004].In patients with sepsis,serum iron had a significant negative effect on mortality(RR=1.567;95%CI:1.208-1.925).CONCLUSION This systematic review presents evidence of a negative correlation between serum iron levels and mortality among patients with ***,it reveals a minor yet adverse impact of serum ferritin on mortality among the United States population.
