Antibiotic contamination of the water environment has attracted much attention from researchers because of their potential hazards to humans and *** this study,a multi-template molecularly imprinted polymer(MIP)modified mesoporous silica coated magnetic graphene oxide(MGO@MS@MIP)was prepared by the surface imprinting method via a sol-gel process and was used for the selective,efficient and simultaneous removal of tetracyclines(TCs),including doxycycline(DC),tetracycline(TC),chlorotetracycline(CTC)and oxytetracycline(OTC)from *** synthesized MIP composite was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,transmission electron microscope and thermogravimetric *** adsorption properties of MGO@MS@MIP for these TCs were characterized through adsorption kinetics,isotherms and selectivity *** MIP composite revealed larger adsorption quantities,excellent selectivity and rapid kinetics for these four *** adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic and followed the Freundlich isotherm model and the pseudo-second-order kinetic *** MGO@MS@MIP could specifically recognize DC,TC,CTC and OTC in the presence of some chemical *** addition,the sorption capacity of the MIP composite did not decrease significantly after repeated application for at least five ***,the prepared magnetic MIP composite has great potential to contribute to the effective separation and removal of tetracyclines from water.

Direct liquid fuel cells(DLFCs)are proposed to address the problems of high cost and complex storage and transportation of hydrogen in traditional hydrogen-oxygen proton exchange membrane fuel ***,present fuels of organic small molecules used in DLFCs are restricted to problems of sluggish electrochemical kinetics and easily poisoning of precious metal ***,we demonstrate reduced phosphotungstic acid as a liquid fuel for DLFCs based on its advantages of high chemical and electrochemical stability,high electrochemical activity on common carbon material electrodes,and low permeability through proton exchange *** application of phosphotungstic acid fuel effectively solves the problems of high cost of anode catalysts and serious fuel permeation loss in traditional DLFCs.A phosphotungstic acid fuel cell achieves a peak power density of466 mW cm^(-2)at a cell voltage of 0.42 V and good stability at current densities in the range from 20 to 200 mA cm^(-2).

The computed tomography was applied to setting STIM(Scanning Transmission Ion Microscopy) projections recorded at the Fudan Ion Beam *** this work,in order to visualize the three-dimensional mass density distribution in several specimens,example for a test structure of hollow gold cyliner was presented together with a detailed description of the developed system,including data reconstruction code(Tomorebuild 2) and image display software(AMIRA).Future development will allow the particle induced X-ray emission tomography for elemental analysis of micrometer-sized samples.

Redox flow batteries have received wide attention for electrochemical energy conversion and storage devices due to their specific advantage of uncoupled power and energy devices,and therefore potentially to reduce the capital costs of energy *** structural features of polyoxometalates exhibit unique advantages in redox flow batteries,such as,stable chemical properties,multi-electron reaction,good redox reversibility,low permeability,etc,which furnishes a novel perspective for settling various problems of redox flow *** was a comprehensive and critical review of this type of batteries,focusing mainly on the chemistry of polyoxometalate electrolyte materials and introducing a systematic ***,challenges and perspectives of polyoxometalate electrolyte materials and polyoxometalate redox flow batteries are discussed.

This paper determines the cost-benefit levels of yellow croaker farming households by comparing and analysing responses to questionnaires distributed to 405 households located in nine breeding regions of three counties(cities)in the Chinese provinces of Fujian and Zhejiang.A transcendental logarithmic stochastic frontier production function model is used to perform a quantitative analysis on the large yellow croaker production technique efficiency of different forms of industry organisation,with the farming household as the basic production *** findings indicate that the average production technology efficiency of the farming households is 84.33% and room for improvement remains;and there are significant differences between the production technique efficiency of farming households from different regions and under different forms of *** analysis of the factors that affect farming household production technique efficiency found that capital input has a greater effect than labour *** participation and the number of individuals involved in the rearing of large yellow croakers,participation in technical training,and joining a closely-knit industry organisation all have a significant positive effect on increasing the production technique *** empirical results provide a basis and practical reference for optimising the development of the large yellow croaker farming industry,enhancing the degree of closeness of the organisations in the industry,and improving aquaculture performance.

Terbium aluminum garnet(Tb_(3)Al_(5)O_(12);TAG)ceramics are among the most promising magneto–optical materials owing to their outstanding comprehensive *** works have focused on improving the optical quality of TAG ceramics.A key point for improving optical quality is ensuring the accuracy of the stoichiometric ratio and avoiding secondary *** this work,0,2,4,or 6 wt%Sc2O3 was added to the TAG ceramics to increase the solid *** effects of Sc substitution on the crystal structure,sintering process,microstructure,optical transmittance,and magneto–optical properties of(Tb_(1−x)Sc_(x))_(3)(Al_(1−y)Sc_(y))_(2)Al_(3)O_(12)(TSAG)ceramics are studied in detail.4 wt%Sc2O3:TAG ceramics with an in-line transmittance of 82.2%at 1064 nm and 81.2%at 633 nm were successfully fabricated,and the Verdet constant was 164.4 rad·T^(−1)·m^(−1) at 633 ***-site defects(ADs)and Sc replacement in TAG are further studied via first-principles calculations to determine the working mechanism of *** the experimental and calculation results show that the introduction of Sc can effectively increase the solid solubility of TAG ceramics,suppress secondary phases,and hence improve the optical transmittance.

The relationship between salmon prices and attributes were explored using the samples collected in supermarkets in Shanghai,*** results showed that the price of the salmon did not have a significant relationship with the depth of orange color of salmon,unlike the results of stated preferences of western consumers in the previous ***,smoked products had a positive relationship with price in the linear model form,and as the main importing country,Norway has the strongest positive relationship with *** China salmon demand is expected to increase in future,salmon attributes highly appreciated in the market are different from western countries and salmon exporters need to recognize China as a special market for effective market.

Study on the Influencing Factors of the Aquatic Products Consumption in China

In this paper, an econometric model for the aquatic products consumption of urban residents was established, aiming at investigating the different effects of seven factors （urban residents＇ annual disposable income, annual consumption quantity of pork and poultry and related byproducts, family structure, aging level, educational background, having meals out of home, and the number of retail chains stores） on the aquatic products consumption quantity of urban residents. The result of the model showed urban residents＇ annual disposable income and having meals out of home play the greatest effect on the consumption of aquatic products, followed by the number of retail chains stores; family structure plays a negative effect on the consumption of aquatic products. Also, the analysis shows not only the prices of the aquatic products as well as substitutes should be considered and also the quantity of the meals consumed by residents out of home and the number of retail chains stores should be used as important associated factors in studying the change trend of aquatic products consumption, and simultaneously the effect of family structure on the consumption quantity of aquatic products should be taken seriously, so that the aquatic products consumption of Chinese residents should be further promoted and also the aquatic products market can attain a development.

Deuterated polymer microspheres can be used as a neutron source in conjunction with lasers because thermonuclear fusion neutrons can be produced efficiently by collisions of the resulting energetic deuterium ions.A new type of solid deuterated polymer microsphere with a carbon hydrogen–carbon deuterium(CH-CD)multilayer has been designed for preparing the target for inertial confinement fusion(ICF)*** fabricate these solid CH-CD multilayer microspheres,CH beads are first fabricated by a microfluidic technique,and the CD coating layer is prepared by a plasma polymerization *** polystyrene(PS)and poly(α-methylstyrene)(PAMS)are used as the material sources for the CH *** effects of the PS and PAMS materials on the quality of the solid CH beads and the resulting CH-CD multilayer polymer microspheres are *** solid PS beads have better sphericity and a smoother surface,but large vacuoles are observed in solid PS-CD multilayer microspheres owing to the presence of residual fluorobenzene in the beads and a glass transition temperature of the solid PS beads that is lower than the temperature of plasma ***,solidPAMSbeads are more suitable as a mandrel for fabricating solid CH-CD multilayer polymer *** CH-CD multilayer microspheres with specified size have been successfully prepared by controlling the droplet size and the CD deposition rate and deposition *** with the design value,the diameter deviation of the inner CH beads and the thickness deviation of the CD layer can be controlled within 20μmand 2μm,***,an approach has been developed to fabricate solid CH-CD multilayer microspheres that meet the physical design requirements for ICF.
