We developed an one-step hydrothermal method to synthesize carbon-nitrogen quantum dots(CNQDs) with oxygen-rich functional *** sample was characterized by TEM,AFM,FT-IR,XPS,UV-vis absorption and PL *** 0/C and N/C atomic ratio of typical CNQDs with diameters of 3-6 nm are ca.0.4 and 0.2,*** noble metal cocatalyst,the photocatalytic H2production rate of CNQDs/TiO2nanofibers(NFs)(112.4 μmol h-1g-1) is 1.8 times higher than that of *** good absorption of light contributes to the enhanced photocatalytic *** CNQDs could be promising in biomedical imaging,optical data recording storage and photo/electrocatalysis,etc.

Although computational studies have demonstrated that metal ion doping can effectively narrow the bandgap of TiO_(2),the visible-light photoactivity of metal-doped TiO_(2) photoanodes is still far from ***,we report an effective strategy to activate the visible-light photoactivity of chromiumimplanted TiO_(2) via the incorporation of oxygen *** chromium-doped TiO_(2) activated by oxygen vacancies(Cr-TiO_(2)-vac)exhibited an incident photon-to-electron conversion efficiency(IPCE)of~6.8%at450 nm,which is one of the best values reported for metal-doped TiO_(2).Moreover,Cr-TiO_(2)-vac showed no obvious photocurrent decay after 100 h under visible-light illumination.

Nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)under ambient conditions is always a long-standing challenge in science,due to the extreme difficulty in breaking the strong N≡N triple *** key to resolving this issue undoubtedly lies in searching superior catalysts to efficiently activate and hydrogenate the stable nitrogen *** herein evaluate the feasibility of WP_(2) for N2 activation and reduction,and first demonstrate WP_(2) with an impressive ammonia yield rate of 7.13 lg h^(-1)cm^(-2),representing a promising W-based catalyst for *** analysis further reveals that the NRR catalysis on WP_(2) proceeds in a distal reaction pathway,and the exceptional NRR activity is originated from superior surface electron energy level matching between WP_(2) and NRR potential which facilitates the interfacial proton-coupled electron transfer *** successfully unraveling the intrinsic catalytic mechanism of WP_(2) for NRR could offer a powerful platform to manipulate the NRR activity by tuning the electron energy levels.

The high unoccupied d band energy of Ni_(3)N basically results in weak orbital coupling with water molecule,consequently leading to slow water dissociation ***,we demonstrate Cr doping can downshift the unoccupied d orbitals and strengthen the interfacial orbital coupling to boost the water dissociation *** prepared Cr-Ni_(3)N/Ni displays an impressive overpotential of 37 mV at 10 mA·cmgeo-2,close to the benchmark Pt/C in 1.0 M KOH *** structural analysis reveals the Cr dopant exists as the Cr-N_(6)states and the average d band energy of Ni_(3)N is also *** functional theory calculation further confirms the downshifted d band energy can strengthen the orbital coupling between the unpaired electrons in O 2p and the unoccupied state of Ni 3d,which thus facilitates the water adsorption and *** work provides a new concept to achieve on-demand functions for hydrogen evolution catalysis and beyond,by regulating the interfacial orbital coupling.

The interstitial structure and weak Ni-N interaction of Ni3N lead to high unoccupied d orbital energy and unsuitable orbital orientation,which consequently results in weak orbital coupling with H2O and slow water dissociation kinetics for alkaline hydrogen evolution ***,we successfully lower the unoccupied d orbital energy of Ni3N to strengthen the interfacial electronic coupling by employing the strong electron pulling capability of oxygen *** prepared O-Ni3N catalyst delivers an overpotential of 55 mV at 10 mA cm−2,very close to the commercial Pt/*** structural characterization indicates the oxygen incorporation can decrease the electron densities around the Ni ***,density functional theory calculation further proves the oxygen incorporation can create more unoccupied orbitals with lower energy and superior orientation for water adsorption and *** concept of orbital-regulated interfacial electronic coupling could offer a unique approach for the rational design of hydrogen evolution catalysts and beyond.

In this paper,the numerical simulation method is used to study the ballistic performances of hourglass lattice sandwich structures with the same mass under the vertical incidence of *** is paid to elucidating the influences of rod cross-section dimensions,structure height,structure layer,and rod inclination angle on the deformation mode,ballistic performances,and ability to change the ballistic direction of *** results show that the ballistic performances of hourglass lattice sandwich structures are mainly affected by their structural *** this respect,structural parameters optimization of the hourglass lattice sandwich structures enable one to effectively improve their ballistic limit velocity and,consequently,ballistic performances.

A resilience-incorporated risk assessment framework is proposed and demonstrated in this study to manifest the advantageous seismic resilience of precast concrete frame(PCF)structures with“dry”connections in terms of their low damage and rapid *** framework integrates various uncertainties in the seismic hazard,fragility,capacity,demand,loss functions,and post-earthquake *** this study,the PCF structures are distinguished from ordinary reinforced concrete frame(RCF)structures by characterizing multiple limit states for the PCF based on its unique damage ***,probabilistic story-wise pushover analyses are performed to yield story-wise capacities for the predefined limit *** the seismic resilience analysis,a step-wise recovery model is proposed to idealize the functionality recovery process,with separate considerations of the repair and non-repair *** recovery model leverages the economic loss and downtime to delineate the stochastic post-earthquake recovery curves for the resilience loss *** such,contingencies in the probabilistic post-earthquake repairs are incorporated and the empirical judgments on the recovery parameters are largely *** proposed framework is demonstrated through a comparative study between two“dry”connected PCFs and one RCF designed as alternative structural systems for a prototype *** results from the risk quantification indicate that the PCFs show reduced loss hazards and lower expected losses relative to the ***,the PCF equipped with energy dissipation devices at the“dry”connections largely reduces the expected economic loss,downtime,and resilience loss by 29%,56%,and 60%,respectively,compared to the RCF.

Tropical cyclones typically form over warm tropical and subtropical ocean surfaces, as their formation and intensification rely primarily on the energy provided by the ocean. Pioneering research by Gray (1968) revealed that the formation of tropical cyclones requires the sea surface temperature (SST) to be no less than 26.5℃. Consequently, SST is commonly recognized as a crucial parameter among the environmental factors influencing tropical cyclone formation(Gray, 1979;Emanuel and Nolan, 2004).

The CO_(2)reduction into carbon-contained fuel via solar energy offers the powerful tools to realize the zero-emission carbon *** to the intriguing features of the two-dimensional(2D)heterostructures,it is susceptible to modulate the electronic structure as well as the surface geometry for optimizing the photocatalytic CO_(2)*** this perspective,we surveyed the fundamental insights of 2D semiconductor heterostructures,involving the fabrication strategies and classification of the 2D semiconductor ***,we have detailly discussed the overview of 2D semiconductor heterostructure for optimizing CO_(2)photocatalytic influenced factors,including the solar energy utilization,photogenerated carriers separation,and redox reaction ***,we showed the significant advantages of 2D heterostructures in elevating CO_(2)photoreduction performance,focusing on activity,selectivity and *** analyzing the limitations and developments,we ended by putting forward insights into the further researches about the CO_(2)photocatalysts and reactor design,even industrial applications.

In this paper, we explore state-based potential games using the semi-tensor product of ***, applying the potential equation, we derive both a necessary and sufficient condition as well as a sufficient condition to verify whether a state-based game qualifies as a potential game. Next, we present two static equivalence conditions of state-based potential games. We then delve into dynamic equivalence. We propose a criterion that allows us to identify state-based games that are dynamically equivalent to state-based potential games and share similar dynamic properties. Ultimately, we introduce the concept of state-based networked evolutionary games. We provide a necessary and sufficient condition to ensure that a state-based networked evolutionary game can be classified as a state-based potential game.
