Flavonoids from mulberry leaves inhibit fat production and improve fatty acid distribution in adipose tissue in finishing pigs

This study evaluated the effects of flavonoids from mulberry leaves (FML) on plasma biochemical indices,serum activities of lipid metabolism-related enzymes,fat morphology,fatty acid composition,and lipid metabolism in different adipose tissues of finishing *** used 120 Chinese hybrid barrows of Berkshire and Bama mini-pigs with an average initial body weight of 45.11±4.23 *** pigs were randomly assigned to five treatment groups and fed a control diet based on corn,soybean meal,and wheat bran or a control diet supplemented with 0.02%,0.04%,0.08%,or 0.16%*** experimental group had six replicates (pens),with four pigs per *** a 7-d adaptation period,the feeding trial was conducted for 58 *** and adipose tissue samples were collected from 30 pigs (one pig per pen)at the end of the *** results showed that FML supplementation significantly decreased the feed intake to body gain ratio,the plasma concentrations of total cholesterol and free fatty acids,and the serum activity of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase (linear or quadratic effects,P<0.05),and decreased the plasma triglyceride concentration (quadratic,P=0.07).Increasing FML supplementation increased the average daily gain and serum activities of lipoprotein lipase (linear and quadratic effects,P<0.05) and adipose triglyceride lipase (linear,P<0.05).Dietary FML supplementation decreased the adipocyte area in the dorsal subcutaneous adipose (DSA) tissue of finishing pigs (linear,P=0.05) and increased the adipocyte area in the visceral adipose tissue (quadratic,P<0.01).Increasing FML supplementation decreased the C20:1 content in DSA,abdominal subcutaneous adipose,and visceral adipose tissues of finishing pigs (P<0.05) and increased the C18:3n3 and n-3 PUFA contents(P<0.05).The lipid metabolism genes were regulated by the PPARγ-LXRa-ABCA1 signaling pathway,and their expressions differed in different adipose *** findings suggest that FML improved growth performance,reg

动物机体的生长受外部条件和遗传因素影响,特别是后者所发挥的调节作用尤为复杂,这不但关系着肌肉的生长速度、品质和产量,还会对生猪产业的经济效益和未来发展产生深远影响。近年转录组学和蛋白组学的飞速发展促使人们不仅要从深层次的角度去探索生猪生长过程中肌肉的变化情况,更需要从机体内部出发研究相关基因和蛋白及其所参与的信号通路和调控机制,这样才能够准确揭示猪只生长过程中复杂的变化规律。本文就猪肌肉生长发育的研究以及转录组学和蛋白组学技术在猪肌肉生长发育中的应用进行综述,旨在为进一步利用组学技术提高生猪生长速度和肌肉特性提供参考。

直肠癌调强放疗的临床计划质量优化和评估

目的:采用Plan IQ软件评估直肠癌调强放射治疗临床治疗计划和再优化计划的质量,为调强放疗计划筛选和优化提供方法和工具。方法:回顾性随机选取20例接受调强放疗的直肠癌患者,调强放疗技术(IMRT)和旋转容积调强技术(VMAT)计划各10例。(1)临床治疗计划设计(TP):IMRT计划采用5野等间距照射,VMAT计划采用2个360°弧旋转照射。处方剂量为PTV1:50 Gy/25 f;PTV2:45 Gy/25 f。所有计划均采用直接机器参数优化,且要求95%等剂量线能覆盖100%靶区体积,危及器官(OARs)参考耐受剂量标准来限制。计划完成后由医生审核确认,并经过计划剂量验证后实施治疗。(2)治疗计划再优化设计(RP):由1名有10年经验的计划设计者对20例TP计划进行重新优化,保持照射技术和照射野条件不变,根据个人经验重新调整计划优化条件和参数,直到OARs剂量尽可能低,且不影响PTV的目标覆盖率。用Plan IQ软件分别对TP和RP计划质量进行量化评估。两组计划之间剂量DVH参数和计划质量指数(PQI)行非参数的Wilcoxon符号秩检验。结果:RP计划的各DVH参数均优于TP计划,其中PTV1的D_(max)、小肠的V_(45 Gy)和D_(max)以及结肠的V_(45 Gy)的差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。IMRT组、VMAT组和所有患者的RP计划的质量评分均高于TP计划,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05),其PQI分别为(88.55±3.35 vs 86.61±4.63,P=0.005)、(89.72±3.15 vs87.21±3.04,P=0.028)和(89.14±3.22 vs 86.91±3.22,P=0.001)。结论:计划再优化可以进一步提高直肠癌调强放疗的临床计划质量,Plan IQ软件为放疗计划质量控制和优质计划筛选提供了一种有效工具。

This study evaluated the potential of mulberry leaf powder as an unconventional feed material for fin-ishing pigs by assessing the growth performance,antioxidative properties,fatty acid profile,and lipid metabolism in 180 Xiangcun black *** with an initial body weight(BW)of 71.64±1.46 kg were randomly assigned to 5 treatment groups,including the control diet and 4 experimental *** corn,soybean meal,and wheat bran in the control diet were partly replaced by 3%,6%,9%,or 12%mulberry leaf powder in experimental *** were 6 replicates(pens)of 6 pigs per replicate in each *** and muscle samples were collected after the 50-day feed *** with the control group,the 3%,6%,and 9%mulberry diets had no adverse effect(P>0.05)on the growth performance of *** serum glutathione peroxidase activity and glutathione concentration increased linearly(P<0.05)with the increase in dietary mulberry *** was no significant difference in the relative expression levels of antioxidant-related genes in muscle tissue between the control and mul-berry *** of dietary mulberry powder increased(P<0.05)the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids,especially in the longissimus dorsi(LD)muscle,up-regulated(P<0.05)the relative mRNA expression level of uncoupling protein-3 in muscle tissue,but down-regulated(P<0.05)the relative mRNA expression levels of hormone-sensitive lipase,acetyl CoA carboxylaseα,lipoprotein lipase,and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor y in LD in a linear *** nuclear respiratory factor 2 expression level in the LD muscle of pigs fed the 9%mulberry diet was higher(P<0.01)than that in the other mulberry groups and control *** inclusion of less than 12%dietary mulberry did not detrimentally affect the growth performance of Xiangcun black pigs,but enhanced the serum antioxidant property,increased the polyunsaturated fatty acid content,and inhibited lipid oxidation by regulating gene expression

目的:评估不同级别肿瘤中心医师对鼻咽癌调强放疗计划靶区和危及器官勾画的个体化差异,为多中心放疗临床试验的质量控制提供数据参考。方法:随机抽取12例不同TMN分期的鼻咽癌患者,3名同一市级肿瘤中心医师以手工方式勾画每例患者的靶区(GTVnx)和危及器官(OAR)。以国家区域级肿瘤中心放疗专家手工修改和确认的靶区(GTVnx)和OAR勾画结构作为标准勾画。采用绝对体积差异比(△V_diff)、体积最大/最小比(MMR)、离散系数(CV)和体积相似性指数(DSC)分别比较不同级别肿瘤中心(市级与国家区域级)医师之间和市级肿瘤中心3名医师之间的器官勾画差异,并进一步比较不同级别肿瘤中心医师对不同TMN分期的鼻咽癌放疗计划器官的勾画差异。结果:不同级别肿瘤中心(市级与国家区域级)医师之间勾画GTVnx体积差异明显,3名医生中的最大△V_diff、MMR和CV分别为97.23%±83.45%、2.19±0.75和0.31±0.14,平均DSC2.8,CV>0.37,DSC0.7。相比于不同级别肿瘤中心医师之间的勾画差异,市级肿瘤中心3名医生勾画差异有一定的减小。另外,不同级别肿瘤中心医师之间对不同分期的鼻咽癌靶区勾画也存在差异,相对早期患者(I或II期)的靶区勾画,他们之间在对晚期患者(III或IV期)靶区勾画的差异更小,平均△V_diff和DSC值分别为(98.31%±67.36%vs 69.38%±72.61%, P<0.05)和(0.55±0.08 vs 0.72±0.12, P<0.05)。结论:不同级别肿瘤中心医师勾画鼻咽癌放疗计划靶区和OAR存在差异,尤其对早期患者靶区(GTVnx)和小体积OAR的勾画。为确保多中心临床试验的准确性,建议对不同级别医师进行统一培训并审核其勾画结果,以减少差异对治疗结果的影响。

Thermal and mechanical behavior of casting copper alloy wheel during wheel and belt continuous casting process

To investigate the thermal and mechanical behavior of casting wheel,a two-dimensional thermoelastic-plastic finite element model was used to predict the temperature,stress and distortion distribution of the casting wheel during the wheel and belt continuous casting *** effects of grinding thickness and casting speed on the thermal and mechanical behaviors of the center of the hot face of the casting wheel were discussed in *** each rotation,the casting wheel passes through four different spray *** results show that the temperature distribution of the casting wheel in different spray zones is similar,the temperature of the hot face is the highest and the temperature reaches the peak in the spray zoneⅢ.The stress and distortion depend on the temperature distribution,and the maximum stress and distortion of the hot face are 358.2 MPa and 1.82 mm,*** temperature at the center of the hot face decreases with increasing grinding thickness and increases with increasing casting speed.

As an important river in the western part of Jilin Province,the lower reach of the Nenjiang River is an important wetland water source conservation area in Jilin *** the watershed,it governs the Momoge Wetland,the Xianghai Wetland,and the Danjiang Wetland in Jilin *** main problem in the lower reaches of the Nenjiang River is the uneven distribution of water resources in time and space,and the intensification of land *** County and Da an City in the Nenjiang River Basin have sufficient surface water resources,with surface water as the drinking water *** City and Tongyu County have scarce surface water resources,and both use groundwater as their domestic water *** main polluted section in the basin is the Xianghai Reservoir,and the annual water quality evaluation is Class ***,the water quality of the Tao er River,the main stream of the Nenjiang River,is significantly better than that of the Xianghai *** order to better study the water environmental pollution situation in the Nenjiang River basin,monitoring data from five sections of non seasonal rivers in the basin from 2012 to 2021 were selected for studying water *** in-depth exploration of the water pollution status and river water quality change trends in the Nenjiang River basin is of great significance for future rural development,agricultural pattern transformation,and the promotion of water ecological civilization construction.

Electronic origin of structural degradation in Li-rich transition metal oxides:The case of Li_(2)MnO_(3)and Li_(2)RuO_(3)

Li_(2)MnO_(3)and Li_(2)RuO_(3)represent two prototype Li-rich transition metal(TM)oxides as high-capacity cathodes for Li-ion batteries,which have similar crystal structures but show quite different cycling ***,based on the first-princi-ples calculations,we systematically studied the electronic structures and defect properties of these two Li-rich cathodes,in order to get more understanding on the structural degradation mechanism in Li-rich TM *** calculations indicated that the structural and cycling stability of Li_(2)MnO_(3)and Li_(2)RuO_(3)depend closely on their electronic structures,especially the energy of their highest occupied electronic states(HOS),as it largely determines the defect properties of these *** Li_(2)MnO_(3)with low-energy HOS,we found that,due to the defect charge transfer mechanism,various defects can form spontaneously in its host structure as Li ions are extracted upon delithiation,which seriously deteriorates its structural and cycling *** for Li_(2)RuO_(3),on the other hand,we identified that the high-energy HOS prevents it from the defect formation upon delithi-ation and thus preserve its cycling *** studies thus illustrated an electronic origin of the structural degradation in Li-rich TM oxides and implied that it is possible to improve their cycling performances by carefully adjusting their TM compo-nents.
