Effect of dienogest treatment on uterine fibroid volume in patients with endometriosis or adenomyosis complicated by uterine fibroids

Compatibility evaluation between waterborne epoxy resin and SBR latex modified asphalt emulsion

Good compatibility between waterborne epoxy resin(WER)modifier and styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR)latex modified asphalt emulsion(SBRE)is an essential premise for good pavement performance of WER and SBR latex compositely modified asphalt emulsion(WSAE).This study aims to explore the compatibility between WER modifier and *** achieve the goal,several WER modifiers produced by two methods were first selected to modify SBRE,thus the WSAEs were ***,storage stability and workability of the WSAEs themselves,and high-temperature performance,rheological behavior and temperature sensitivity of their evaporated residues were compared and evaluated via performing a series of experiments,respectively,thus the WER modifier possessing an optimal modification effect was *** show that the storage stability of WSAEs is sensitive to the amount of *** incorporation of 1%WERs by the mass of SBRE improves the storage stability of SBRE,while WERs that exceed 1%weaken its storage *** the WERs reach 3%and 4%,the 5 d storage stability of prepared WSAEs will be beyond the limitation of *** WERs into SBRE negatively affects the workability of SBRE,and the workability of WSAEs is adversely influenced by the WERs content and the storage *** ensure the construction,the WSAEs with 3%and 4%WERs should not be stored for more than 36 h and 48 h,*** WERs effectively improve the high-temperature performance of SBRE residue,especially the 3%***,the WERs notably enhance the rheological property and thermal stability of SBRE *** contrast,the WER modifier produced by chemically modified method has a smaller adverse impact on the storage stability and workability of WSAE,and a larger enhancement on the high-temperature performance,rheological property and thermal stability of SBRE residue,which is thus recommended to modify SBRE.

Spatial-temporal patterns and evolution of carbon storage in China's terrestrial ecosystems from 1980 to 2020

Analyzing the changes in carbon storage in terrestrial ecosystems caused by land use changes is a crucial part of exploring the carbon cycle. In addition, enhancing carbon storage in terrestrial ecosystems is an effective and environmentally friendly measure to sequester anthropogenic carbon emissions, which is significant for achieving carbon neutrality and curbing global climate change. This paper uses land use data and carbon density tables with the In VEST model to obtain a carbon storage distribution map of China. It further applies land use response elasticity coefficients, Theil index multi-stage nested decomposition, and spatial autocorrelation analysis to examine the spatial-temporal patterns, causes of changes, and evolution characteristics of carbon storage in terrestrial ecosystems from 1980 to 2020. The results show that the temporal changes in China's carbon storage generally present an inverted S-curve, with an initial rapid decline followed by a slower decrease. Spatially, it features high levels in the northeast, low levels in the northwest, and a uniform distribution in the central and southern *** disturbance of land use type changes on terrestrial ecosystem carbon storage has been effectively mitigated. The significant reduction in grassland area in the Southwest region is the main source of carbon storage loss during the study period, and the encroachment of construction land on arable land in large urban agglomerations is one of the important causes of carbon storage loss. The Theil index multi-stage nested decomposition results indicate that the overall difference in carbon storage in China has decreased, while differences among cities within provinces and among counties within cities have increased. The influence of natural factors on the distribution of carbon storage is weakening, whereas the impact of human activities is becoming more profound, enhancing its influence on the spatial distribution of carbon storage in China. An axisymmetric characteristic model for enhancing prediction of centrifugal compressor characteristics

Rapid and accurate determination of compressor characteristic maps is essential for the initial design of centrifugal compressors in aircraft power systems. The accuracy of existing methodologies, which rely on combinations of loss models, varies significantly depending on the compressor's geometry and operational range. This variance necessitates substantial experimental or Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) data for coefficient calibration. To address this challenge, this study presents an axisymmetric characteristic model for compressor performance assessment. This model incorporates the factors of blade angle, meridional passage area, and the radial deflection angle of meridional streamlines of the compressor. These factors are derived from fundamental aerodynamic equations encompassing mass, momentum, and energy conservation of the compressor. In contrast to conventional one-dimensional approaches, the proposed method reduces the number of loss coefficients and more effectively accounts for the impact of geometric alterations on centrifugal compressor properties. Furthermore, the model reduces dependence on experimental and CFD data. Efficacy of the model is validated using experimental data from four distinct types of centrifugal compressors. Correlation analysis reveals that the model's coefficients can be expressed as functions of the ratio of the Reynolds number to the impeller tip speed. This ratio serves as a characteristic parameter for the design and optimization of centrifugal compressors. Consequently, the proposed method offers an efficient and accurate means for the quick computation of centrifugal compressor characteristics. This is of great significance for improving the efficiency of centrifugal compressors and reducing energy consumption.
