The interaction between the gut microbiota and cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP)-protein kinase A(PKA)signaling pathway in the host's central nervous system plays a crucial role in neurological diseases and enhances communication along the gut–brain *** gut microbiota influences the cAMP-PKA signaling pathway through its metabolites,which activates the vagus nerve and modulates the immune and neuroendocrine ***,alterations in the cAMP-PKA signaling pathway can affect the composition of the gut microbiota,creating a dynamic network of microbial-host *** reciprocal regulation affects neurodevelopment,neurotransmitter control,and behavioral traits,thus playing a role in the modulation of neurological *** coordinated activity of the gut microbiota and the cAMP-PKA signaling pathway regulates processes such as amyloid-β protein aggregation,mitochondrial dysfunction,abnormal energy metabolism,microglial activation,oxidative stress,and neurotransmitter release,which collectively influence the onset and progression of neurological *** study explores the complex interplay between the gut microbiota and cAMP-PKA signaling pathway,along with its implications for potential therapeutic interventions in neurological *** pharmacological research has shown that restoring the balance between gut flora and cAMP-PKA signaling pathway may improve outcomes in neurodegenerative diseases and emotional *** can be achieved through various methods such as dietary modifications,probiotic supplements,Chinese herbal extracts,combinations of Chinese herbs,and innovative dosage *** findings suggest that regulating the gut microbiota and cAMP-PKA signaling pathway may provide valuable evidence for developing novel therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases.

A Method to Measure Thermal Conductivity of Vacuum Insulation Panel Using Enhanced Extreme Learning Machine Model

Thermal conductivity is an important quantity which represents the characteristic of Vacuum Insulation Panel’s(VIP’s)*** measurement of thermal conductivity provides better quality assurance for the *** this paper,we presented a novel embedded sensor method to measure the thermal conductivity of *** proposed method evaluated the quality of VIP primarily based on the relationship between thermal conductivity and frequency characteristic of the output *** addition,we presented a new mean ridge regression extreme leaning machine(M-RRELM)model via improving extreme learning machine(ELM)by ridge regression to modify the relationship between the thermal conductivity and the output signal frequency *** have shown that the M-RRELM model has higher precision compared with the traditional *** proposed method achieved good performance and was faster than the well known methods.

Shear Induced Morphological Transformation of Large Compound Micelles Formed by Glutathione End-capped Poly（4-vinylpyridine）

Here we report novel shear-sensitive polymeric large compound micelles （LCMs） formed by self-assembly of glutathione end-capped poly（4-vinylpyridine）（GP4VP） in water containing 4 vol% methanol. The amphiphile prefers to form the kinetieally stabilized LCMs due to the small length ratio of the hydrophilic part to the hydrophobic part; the encapsulation of the hydrophilic part within LCMs causes only a small enthalpy loss from a thermody- namic view. Sheared by vortex flows generated by vigorous stir, the LCMs evolve to thick wall vesicles, thin wall vesicles, broken vesicles and ＂pearl-necklace＂ structures consecutively. The high flexibility of the LCMs and the internal tension caused by the encapsulation of the hydrophilic part are responsible for the high shear sensitivity of the LCMs.

A new method of simultaneous determination of atmospheric amines in gaseous and particulate phases by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

As more attention is being paid to the characteristics of atmospheric amines,there is also an increasing demand for reliable detection ***,a method was developed for simultaneous detection of atmospheric amines in both gaseous and particulate phases using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The amine samples were collected with and without phosphoric acid filters,followed by derivatization with benzenesulfonyl chloride under alkaline condition prior to GC-MS ***,the method was optimized and validated for determining 14 standard *** detection limits ranged from0.0408-0.421μg/mL(for gaseous samples)and 0.163-1.69μg/mL(for particulate samples),*** obtained recoveries ranged from 68.8%-180%and the relative standard deviation was less than 30%,indicating high precision and good reliability of the *** amines were simultaneously detected in gaseous and particulate samples in an industrial park using the developed method ***,dimethylamine and diethylamine together accounted for 76.7%and 75.6%of particulate and gaseous samples,*** comparing the measured and predicted values of gas-particle partition fractions,it was found that absorption process of aqueous phase played a more important role in the gas-partition of amines than physical ***,the reaction between unprotonated amines and acid(aq.)in water phase likely promoted water *** measured partition fraction of dibutylamine was likely due to the reaction with gaseous *** developed method would help provide a deeper understanding of gas-particle partitioning as well as atmospheric evolution of amines.

Metal-organic framework loaded manganese oxides as efficient catalysts for low-temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3

A mild in-situ deposition method was used to fabricate Mn-based catalysts on a UiO-66 carder for the selective catalytic reduction of NO by NH3 （NH3-SCR）. The catalyst with 8.5 wt-% MnOx loading had the highest catalytic activity for NH3-SCR with a wide temperature window （100-290 C） for 90% NO conversion. Char- acterization of the prepared MnOx/UiO-66 catalysts showed that the catalysts had the crystal structure and porosity of the UiO-66 carrier and that the manganese particles were well-distributed on the surface of the catalyst. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis showed that there are strong interactions between the MnOx and the Zr oxide secondary building units of the UiO-66 which has a positive effect on the catalytic activity. The 8.5 wt-% MnOx catalyst maintained excellent activity during a 24-h stability test and exhibited good resistance to SO2 poisoning.

Research progress in the SO2 resistance of the catalysts for selective catalytic reduction of NOx

The selective catalytic reduction （SCR） of NOx with NH3 has been proven to be an efficient technology for NOx conversion to N2. However, the catalysts used for SCR usually suffer from the problem of sulfur poisoning which seriously limits their practical application. This review summarized sulfur poisoning mechanisms of various SCR deNG catalysts and strategies to reduce deactivation caused by SO2 such as doping metals, controlling the structures and morphologies of the catalysts, and selecting appropriate supports. The methods and procedures of catalysts preparation and the reaction conditions also have effect on SO2-resistance of the catalysts. Several novel catalyst systems that exhibited good SO2 resistance are also introduced. This paper could provide guidance for the development of highly efficient sulfur-tolerant deNOx catalysts.

Investigation of potential interferences on the measurement of dissolved reactive phosphate using zirconium oxide-based DGT technique

A diffusive gradients in thin films （DGT） technique based on hydrous zirconium oxide （Zr-oxide） has been recently developed for the measurement of dissolved reactive phosphate （DRP）. In this study, the detailed performance of the DGT technique is reported. Spiking experiments revealed that several orthophosphate monoester compounds contributed to the Zr-oxide DGT measurements of DRP. However, such a phenomenon is unlikely to occur during field conditions due to the low concentration of organic P in typical natural waters. The presence of Cl- （up to 106 g/L）, SO42- （up to 16 g/L）, HCO3- （up to 817 g/L）, and AsO2- and AsO 3 4 （both up to 1 mg As/L） in solutions had negligible effects on the measurement of DRP. The threshold concentrations of Cl-, SO42- and HCO3- have been increased from previous reports for the measurements of DRP using other adsorbent-based DGT techniques. The capacity for DGT measurements of DRP decreased with increasing solution pH （4.2-9.2）. The lowest capacity （95 μg P/m2 at pH 9.2） was still greater than that of other DGT techniques that are usually used for the measurement of DRP （2-12 μg P/cm2 ）. The Zr-oxide binding gel could be stored for up to 2 years without any aging effect. This period of validity was considerably longer than the ferrihydrite binding gel that is commonly used in present DGT devices （6 months）. The field application revealed that the concentrations of DRP measured in three fresh water samples using the Zr-oxide DGT technique were in agreement with those of the traditional colorimetric method.

A Piezoresistive Sensor for Measuring Tongue Pressure

Dysphagia is common after a cerebral vascular accident(or stroke), and it seriously affects the prognosis. Timely diagnosis in clinical, scientific assessment of dysphagia and correct treatment given to patients are essential. This study is aimed to develop a sensor for measuring tongue pressure during swallowing or other times,and to help doctors make a scientific assessment of dysphagia grade. It is a kind of miniaturization of piezoresistive pressure sensor with an outer diameter of 10 mm and a thickness of 3mm. A calibration and data acquisition ARM system is designed, which can continuously record tongue pressure in 8 hours. The sensor has a detection range from0 to 30 k Pa, and the measurement error can be controlled in 5%.

One step hot-pressing method for hybrid Li metal anode of solid-state lithium metal batteries

Safety issues induced by infinite anode volume change and uncontrolled lithium(Li)dendrite growth have become the biggest obstacle to the practical application of Li metal *** addition,the tra-ditional rolling method makes it difficult to manufacture thin Li foil with high mechanical strength and low Li ***,a three-dimensional(3D)lithophilic carbon paper/copper(Cu)current collector hybrid anode with ultra-low Li metal content is prepared by a hot-pressing *** highly re-versible and stable lithiophilic layer LiC_(x) formed in situ by heating/pressing treatment provides abun-dant nucleation sites and reduces the Li nucleation overpotential,thereby effectively suppressing Li den-drite ***,the volume change and pulverization problems of Li metal anode during depo-sition/stripping also can be accommodated by the 3D *** optimization effect has been directly confirmed by in-situ optical and ex-situ scanning electron microscope ***,highly sta-ble performance(158.4 mA h g^(-1) at 2 C after 200 cycles with a capacity retention of 95.24%)in Li@LCP-Cu||NCM811 coin cell can be ***,the solid-state battery assembled with the hybrid anode,poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)-based polymer electrolyte and polyethylene oxide(PEO)interface functional layer also exhibits the best electrochemical and safety performance,which also proves that the Li@LCP-Cu anode has great potential for application in solid-state batteries.
