Optimizing FeCoNiCrTi high-entropy alloy with hydrogen pumping effect to boost de/hydrogenation performance of magnesium hydride

The exploration of efficient,long-lived and cost-effective transition metal catalysts is highly desirable for the practical hydrogen storage of magnesium hydride(MgH_(2)) in sustainable energy ***,FeCoNiCrTi high-entropy alloy(HEA) nanosheets were prepared via a facile wet chemical ball milling strategy and they were introduced into MgH_(2) to boost the hydrogen storage *** refined HEA exhibited superior catalytic activity on MgH_(2).In contrast to additive-free MgH_(2),the initial desorption temperature of the constructed MgH_(2)-HEA composite was reduced from 330.0 to 198.5℃ and a remarkable 51% reduction in the dehydrogenation activation energy was ***,the MgH_(2)-HEA composite only required one-twentieth time of that consumed by pure MgH_(2) to absorb 5.0 wt% of H_(2) at 225℃.The synergy between the "hydrogen pumping" effect of Mg_2Ni/Mg_2NiH_4 and Mg_2Co/Mg_2CoH_5 couples,as well as the good dispersion of Fe,Cr and Ti on the surface of MgH_(2) contributed to the enhanced de/hydrogenation performance of the MgH_(2)-HEA *** study furnishes important steering for the design and fabrication of multiple transition metal catalysts and may push the commercial application of magnesium-based hydrides one step forward.

Visual Clues for the Histopathologic Diagnosis of Psoriasis:A Retrospective Case-Control Study

The rate constants for cross-cycloaddition and homo-cycloaddition reactions of p-me-thoxytrifluorostyrene and p-trifluoromethyltrifluorostyrene have been measured at 110-160℃ withthe help of the“KINETICS-I”computer *** data,particularly the ■ function values(1.4-1.9)which are defined by eq 10 and related to the tendency of cross-cycloaddition,reveal thatvery likly there is an extra polar interaction in the transition state of the cross-cycloaddition reactionbetween donor-and acceptor-substituted trifluorostyrenes.

Hybrid Block Diagonalization Precoding for Multi-User Weighted Sum-Rate Maximization

Remnants and fragments of the subducted paleo-Pacific plate:Constraints from geochemistry and geophysics

The subduction and rollback of the paleo-Pacific plate during Mesozoic time was the key engine for the evolution of the continental margin in eastern China. It led to lateral accretion of continental crust in Northeast China, lithospheric destruction beneath the North China Craton, and the generation of huge volumes of felsic magmatic rocks in South China. This had a profound influence on deep material cycles and the evolution of epigenetic environmental systems along the continental margin of East Asia. To fully understand the transformation of the dynamic mechanism during the subduction and rollback of the paleoPacific plate, we have attempted to trace the remnants and fragments of the subducted paleo-Pacific plate at great depths. Such remnants in both temporal and spatial dimensions can be tracked by using geochemical and geophysical approaches. Studies of the trace elements, Mg-Zn isotopes and Os-Nd-Hf-Pb-O isotopes in continental basalts from eastern China reveal a significant number of the remnants of subduction of the paleo-Pacific plate, and the initial subduction can be traced back to the Early Jurassic. Large-scale geophysical imaging unveils a multitude of high-velocity anomalies in the lower mantle of East ***, many high-velocity bodies, aptly referred to as “slab graveyards”, are nestled at the base of the lower mantle. Numerous isolated high-velocity anomalies are also present in the upper part of the lower mantle, creating conduits for the descent of the subducted slabs into the lower mantle. However, a resolution of the remnants for the subducted slabs within the lower mantle are quite low. Consequently, their impact on the lower mantle's dynamics is yet to be thoroughly investigated. Finally, the presently observed big mantle wedge(BMW) in East Asia has developed through subduction of the Pacific plate in the ***, following the rollback of the paleo-Pacific plate(began at ~145 Ma), a Cretaceous BMW system would also form above

RFFsNet-SEI:a multidimensional balanced-RFFs deep neural network framework for specific emitter identification

Existing specific emitter identification(SEI)methods based on hand-crafted features have drawbacks of losing feature information and involving multiple processing stages,which reduce the identification accuracy of emitters and complicate the procedures of *** this paper,we propose a deep SEI approach via multidimensional feature extraction for radio frequency fingerprints(RFFs),namely,***,we extract multidimensional physical RFFs from the received signal by virtue of variational mode decomposition(VMD)and Hilbert transform(HT).The physical RFFs and I-Q data are formed into the balanced-RFFs,which are then used to train *** introducing model-aided RFFs into neural network,the hybrid-driven scheme including physical features and I-Q data is *** improves physical interpretability of ***,since RFFsNet-SEI identifies individual of emitters from received raw data in end-to-end,it accelerates SEI implementation and simplifies procedures of ***,as the temporal features and spectral features of the received signal are both extracted by RFFsNet-SEI,identification accuracy is ***,we compare RFFsNet-SEI with the counterparts in terms of identification accuracy,computational complexity,and prediction *** results illustrate that the proposed method outperforms the counterparts on the basis of simulation dataset and real dataset collected in the anechoic chamber.

1 Introduction Recent advances in single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)have enabled the study of how individual cells respond to various external perturbations such as drug stimulation at gene expression level[1].Precisely inferring perturbation responses allows us to explore how and why individual tumor cells evade cancer treatment,greatly advancing personalized medicine research and deepening our understanding of biological mechanisms[2].However,considering the high costs of sequencing and the complexity of obtaining perturbed samples,utilizing computational methods to predict cellular responses to perturbations holds great potential[2].

The choice of a type of combustion technology to be used for heat or power generation depends on economic,technical,operational and fuel availability *** benefits associated with the evolving market driven by the fluidised bed combustion(FBC)technology cannot be overlooked especially when gauged at 65 GWth of worldwide installed capacity alongside added benefits of handling fuel variation,low pollutant emissions and high combustion *** or biomass waste will continue to have a vital role to play in the future FBC technology-based power *** often contains high levels of inorganic species that can form sticky agglomerates posing a significant risk to boiler operation resulting in unscheduled *** added complexity of the behaviour of the fuel and bed material mix highlights the requirement for simulation models to identify agglomeration to help improve the overall performance and reliability of FBC *** resolve this problem,this research devised a simulation strategy for the detection of agglomeration using the Eulerian–Eulerian *** developed modelling strategy is validated with the experimental data available in literature for two-dimensional simplified geometry of a pilot-scale fluidised bed *** model results were found promising and robust to predict bed defluidisation times and other parameters consistent with the experimental data.

Effects of abnormal zona pellucida on fertilization and pregnancy in IVF/ICSI-ET

Objective To analyze the fertilization rate, embryo development and clinical outcome of oocytes with abnormal zona pellucida after in vitro fertilization （IVF） or intracytoplasmic sperm injection （1CS1）. Methods A retrospective analysis included a total of 43 cycles （27 IVF cycles and 16 ICSI cycles） in which oocytes displaying abnormal zona pellucida were retrieved between January 2006 and December 2011. The fertilization rate, embryo quality, and the cumulative clinical pregnancy rate were analyzed. Results Rescue ICSI was applied in 2 7 IVF cycles in which failed extrusion of the second polar body after conventional IVF was observed, and of them, complete failure to fertilize occurred in 23 IVF cycles. The fertilization rate and the normal fertilization rate for IVF （64.83% and 59.32%, respectively） were significantly lower than those for ICS1 （85.19% and 79.01%, respectively）, whereas the cleavage rate （94.12%） with IVF did not differ significantly from that with ICSI （95.65%, P〉0. 05）. The percentages of good-quality embryos in 1VF group （52. 67%） and 1CSl group （43.75%） also did not differ significantly （P〉0.05）. Although the rates of implantation and pregnancy appeared to be greater in IVF group （33.33% and 40.00%, respectively） compared with those in ICSI group （25.00% and 35. 71%, respectively）, the differences were not significant （P〉0.05）.Conclusions ICSI should be carried out for oocytes with abnormal zona pellucida, for which the risk of lVF failure is high. Rescue ICSI improves the likelihood of fertilization of oocytes with abnormal zona pellucida, but cannot improve the clinical outcome.
