A New Algorithm for Total Variation Based Image Denoising

We propose a new algorithm for the total variation based on image denoising problem. The split Bregman method is used to convert an unconstrained minimization denoising problem to a linear system in the outer iteration. An algebraic multi-grid method is applied to solve the linear system in the inner iteration. Furthermore, Krylov subspace acceleration is adopted to improve convergence in the outer iteration. Numerical experiments demonstrate that this algorithm is efficient even for images with large signal-to-noise ratio.

In this paper, we propose an efficient combination model of the second-order ROF model and a simple fourth-order partial differential equation （PDE） for image denoising. The split Bregman method is used to convert the nonlinear combination model into a linear system in the outer iteration, and an algebraic multigrid method is applied to solve the linear system in the inner iteration. Furthermore, Krylov subspace acceleration is adopted to improve convergence in the outer iteration. At the same time, we prove that the model is strictly convex and exists a unique global minimizer. We have also conducted a variety of numerical experiments to analyze the parameter selection criteria and discuss the performance of ~he fourth-order PDE in the combination model. The results show that our model can reduce blocky effects and our algorithm is efficient and robust to solve the proposed model.

Background The underlying etiology of juvenile dermatomyositis(JDM)is unknown.T cell deficiency as well as Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)infection had been suspected to be involved in the pathogenesis,but it has been poorly evaluated in JDM *** This study described the traits of T and B lymphocyte subsets in newly onset JDM patients and the incidence of EBV infection in JDM patients compared with match *** developed JDM patients from 2014 to 2018 were included in the *** with different markers(CD3+,CD3+CD4+,CD3+CD8+,CD3-CD19+and CD3-CD16+CD56+)were tested with flow cytometry in the first admission or after 6 months of *** analysis was conducted to compare the EBV infection in the group of JDM patients and *** We observed that JDM patients had higher positive rate of Epstein-Barr nuclear antigen-immunoglobulin G(IgG)(P<0.0001)as well as EBV capsid antigen-IgG(P<0.05)than normal ***3-CD16+CD56+lymphocyte was found to be extremely low in early stage of JDM patients,but increased after 6 months of treatment(P=0.0091).Conclusions The level of CD3-CD16+CD56+cells may associate with the clinical course of *** may act as an environmental factor predisposing patients to the development of JDM.

BACKGROUND:We aimed to observe the dynamic changes in glucose metabolic reprogrammingrelated parameters and their ability to predict neurological prognosis and all-cause mortality in cardiac arrest patients after the restoration of spontaneous circulation(ROSC).METHODS:Adult cardiac arrest patients after ROSC who were admitted to the emergency or cardiac intensive care unit of the First Aflliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from August 1,2017,to May 30,2021,were *** to 28-day survival,the patients were divided into a non-survival group(n=82) and a survival group(n=38).Healthy adult volunteers(n=40) of similar ages and sexes were selected as *** serum levels of glucose metabolic reprogrammingrelated parameters(lactate dehydrogenase [LDH],lactate and pyruvate),neuron-specific enolase(NSE) and interleukin 6(IL-6) were measured on days 1,3,and 7 after *** Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II(APACHE II) score and Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA) score were *** Cerebral Performance Category(CPC) score was recorded on day 28 after ***:Following ROSC,the serum LDH(607.0 U/L vs.286.5 U/L),lactate(5.0 mmol/L vs.2.0 mmol/L),pyruvate(178.0 μmol/L vs.70.9 μmol/L),and lactate/pyruvate ratio(34.1 vs.22.1) significantly increased and were higher in the non-survivors than in the survivors on admission(all P<0.05).Moreover,the serum LDH,pyruvate,IL-6,APACHE II score,and SOFA score on days 1,3 and 7 after ROSC were significantly associated with 28-day poor neurological prognosis and 28-day all-cause mortality(all P<0.05).The serum LDH concentration on day 1 after ROSC had an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC) of 0.904 [95% confidence interval [95% CI]:0.851–0.957]) with 96.8% specificity for predicting 28-day neurological prognosis and an AUC of 0.950(95% CI:0.911–0.989) with 94.7% specificity for predicting 28-day all-cause mortality,which was the highest among the glucose metabo

To study the quenching of single-particle strengths of carbon isotopes,a systematic analysis is performed for ^(9-12,14-20) C,with single neutron knockout reactions on Be/C targets,within an energy range from approximately 43 to 2100 MeV/nucleon,using the Glauber *** energies do not show any obvious effect on the resulting values across this wide energy *** extracted quenching factors are found to be strongly dependent on the proton-neutron asymmetry,which is consistent with the recent analysis of knockout reactions but is inconsistent with the systematics of transfer and quasi-free knockout reactions.

A series of 3-acyl-substituted isoindolinone derivatives were synthesized in a one-pot manner via the reaction of o-bromobenzaldehydes,isocyanides,and carboxylic acids in the presence of palladium catalyst and base. The reaction employing easily available starting materials features simple operation and high efficiency. The mechanistic study showed that the reaction might undergo 1) Pd-catalyzed [3+2] cyclization of o-bromobenzaldehyde with isocyanide and the re-insertion of another molecule of isocyanide,2) addition of carboxylic acid to in situ formed ketenimine followed by a rearrangement relay to give 3,3-diacyl-substituted isoindolinone derivative. Further transformations of the obtained products through decarbonylation could also be realized.

Mechanical properties of semi-solid casting are dependent on multiple processing parameters,and improper processing parameters will not only reduce mean data but also increase *** present study investigated the impact of parameters in slurry preparation and heat treatment on the yield strength and ductility of T6 heat-treated A356 Al-Si alloy using rapid slurry forming(RSF)semi-solid *** focus was primarily on the robustness of mechanical properties based on Taguchi design *** analyzing signal-to-noise ratio and minimum value calculated from-3S,the optimum slurry preparation parameters and heat treatment parameters were determined to be no quench,enthalpy exchange material(EEM)temperature of 140℃,EEM-to-melt ratio of 6mass%,stirring time of 18 s,solution heat treated at 520℃ for 2 h,and ageing heat treated at 190℃ for 6 *** a small batch validation,the-3S yield strength and-3S elongation reach 256.1 MPa and 5.03% respectively,showing a satisfactory *** hardness and microstructure of heat-treated samples with the best and worst properties were characterized to gain insight into the underlying mechanisms affecting the mean value and variations of mechanical properties.
