A double-parameter oxygen lance used in a 300 t converter was designed to improve the metallurgical performance. A small-scale measurement of the jet behavior was done using a computer controlled scanning system. The experimental data on the velocity distribution at the jet centerline, the contour map of the jet velocity, the deviation of the jet centerline, and the velocity distribution of the axial section were compiled. According to the results of the small-scale measurement, the double-parameter lance was also employed for a BOF experiment. The metallurgy inde- xes show that the metallurgical performance was highly promoted by use of the double-parameter lance.

In this study,the halogen exchange reactions are investigated between KI or methylamine iodide in aqueous solution and CsPbBr_(3)NCs in *** mass transfer process on the interface between water and toluene affects the halogen exchange time and e *** and heating can effectively improve the halogen exchange e fficiency and increases the sensing *** photoluminescence wavelength shift of CsPbBr_(3)NCs shows good linear relationship with the concentration of I-in the range from 0 to 20 nmol/L with the detection limit of 0.2 nmol/L I^(-).Taking H_(2)O_(2)as a typical water-soluble oxide,the method is applied to the colorimetric sensing of H_(2)O_(2)in water *** the optimization of sensing conditions,the obvious wavelength shift could be observed with the different concentration range of H_(2)O_(2).A good linear relationship between the wavelength shift and the H_(2)O_(2)concentration from 0 to 1.0 mmol/L with the detection limit of 0.05 mmol/L H_(2)O_(2)could be found.

The main challenges in development of traditional liquid lithium-sulfur batteries are the shuttle effect at the cathode caused by the polysulfide and the safety concern at the Li metal anode arose from the dendrite ***-solid-state lithium-sulfur batteries have been proposed to solve the shuttle effect and prevent short ***,solid-solid contacts between the electrodes and the electrolyte increase the interface resistance and stress/strain,which could result in the limited electrochemical *** this work,the cathode of all-solid-state lithium-sulfur batteries is prepared by depositing sulfur on the surface of the carbon nanotubes(CNTs@S)and further mixing with Li10GeP2S12 electrolyte and acetylene black *** 60℃,CNTs@S electrode exhibits superior electrochemical performance,delivering the reversible discharge capacities of 1193.3,959.5,813.1,569.6 and 395.5 mAhg^-1 at the rate of 0.1,0.5,1,2 and 5 C,***,the CNTs@S is able to demonstrate superior high-rate capability of 660.3 mAhg^-1 and cycling stability of 400 cycles at a high rate of 1.0 *** uniform distribution of the CNTs,S and Li10GeP2S12 electrolyte increase the electronic and ionic conductivity between the cathode and the electrolyte hence improves the rate performance and capacity retention.

Effects of Environmental Factors on Tree Seedling Regeneration in a Pine-oak Mixed Forest in the Qinling Mountains, China

Natural seedling regeneration and tree establishment are affected by various environmental factors. In this study, we established eight, eight, six, and four independent forest stands （each stand was further divided into five subplots） respectively based on the altitudinal gradient, stand density, slope location, and slope aspect to investigate the effects of environmental factors on tree seedling regeneration in a pine-oak mixed forest. The results indicated that the seedling density was significantly higher at altitudes of 1,283 m to 1,665 m, whereas the sapling density did not differ with altitudes. The seedling and sapling density decreased significantly at 1,835 m. The seedling densities on the upper slopes were much higher than those on the middle and lower slopes, whereas the sapling density had no difference. The sapling density decreased southwest （20°-75°） whereas gradually from the it increased on the shady slopes to the northeast （40°）. The seedling density increased from southwest （20°） to northeast （40°The seedling and sapling densities increased with the stand density （850 trees ha-1 to 1,525 trees ha-1） whereas the sapling density was significantly lower in stands （1,9oo trees ha-O. Principal components analysis showed that the slope aspect and stand density had more important roles in tree regeneration in this study region compared with the other two factors. Therefore, our findings suggest that it will be beneficial to keep stands at a moderate density on shady slopes. Appropriate thinning of higher density stands is also expected to promote the natural regeneration of pine-oak mixed forest.

Scheduling projects at the activity level increases the complexity of decision making of project portfolio selection but also expands the search space to include better project portfolios. An integer programming model is formulated for the project portfolio selection and scheduling problem. An iterative multi-unit combinatorial auction algorithm is proposed to select and schedule project portfolios through a distributed bidding mechanism. Two price update schemes are designed to adopt either a standard or an adaptive Walrasian tatonnement process. Computational tests show that the proposed auction algorithm with the adaptive price update scheme selects and schedules project portfolios effectively and maximizes the total net present value. The price profile generated by the algorithm also provides managerial insights for project managers and helps to manage the scarce resources efficiently.

The Co-incorporated Ce1-xZrxO2 catalysts were prepared by co-precipitation for carbon dioxide reforming of *** ratio of Ce to Zr was varied to optimize the performances of co-precipitated Co-Ce-Zr-Ox *** prepared catalysts were characterized by various physico-chemical characterization techniques including TPR,X-ray diffraction,N2 adsorption at low temperature,XPS and *** co-precipitated Co-Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 sample containing 16% CoO exhibited a higher catalytic activity among the five catalysts,and the activity was maintained without significant loss during the reaction for 60 *** the conditions of 750 ℃,0.1 MPa,36000 ml/（h gcat）,and CO2/CH4 molar ratio of 1：1,the CO2 conversion over this catalyst was 75% while the CH4 conversion was 67%.The cubic Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 facilitated a higher dispersion and a higher reducibility of the cobalt component,and the apparent activation energy for Co-Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 sample was 49.1 kJ/mol in the CO2/CH4 reforming *** a result,the Co-Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 sample exhibited a higher activity and stability for the reforming of CH4 with CO2.

Least square support vector regression(LSSVR)is a method for function approximation,whose solutions are typically non-sparse,which limits its application especially in some occasions of fast *** this paper,a sparse algorithm for adaptive pruning LSSVR algorithm based on global representative point ranking(GRPR-AP-LSSVR)is *** first,the global representative point ranking(GRPR)algorithm is given,and relevant data analysis experiment is implemented which depicts the importance ranking of data ***,the pruning strategy of removing two samples in the decremental learning procedure is designed to accelerate the training speed and ensure the *** removed data points are utilized to test the temporary learning model which ensures the regression ***,the proposed algorithm is verified on artificial datasets and UCI regression datasets,and experimental results indicate that,compared with several benchmark algorithms,the GRPR-AP-LSSVR algorithm has excellent sparsity and prediction speed without impairing the generalization performance.

This paper presents a parameter formula connecting the well-known proportional-integralderivative(PID) control and the active disturbance rejection control(ADRC). On the one hand, this formula gives a quantitative lower bound to the bandwidth of the extended state observer(ESO) used in ADRC,implying that the ESO is not necessarily of high gain. On the other hand, enlightened by the design of ADRC, a new PID tuning rule is provided, which can guarantee both strong robustness and nice tracking performance of the closed-loop systems under the PID control. Moreover, it is proved that the ESO can be rewritten as a suitable linear combination of the three terms in PID, which can give a better estimate for the system uncertainty than the single integral term in the PID controller. Theoretical results are verified also by simulations in the paper.
