Single-atom catalysts(SACs) have attracted much attention in the field of electrocatalysis due to their100% atomic utilization efficiency, clear active center and adjustable support. The application of SACs to anodic oxygen evolution substitution reactions with high conversion efficiency and selectivity is undoubtedly ***, a full understanding of the interactions between metal single-atom active sites and supports, and an in-depth understanding of the active centers and catalytic mechanisms of SACs in the electro-oxidation of small molecules are the keys to the development of high-performance catalysts. This review focuses on the synthesis of different support SACs and the interactions between single atoms and supports at the inter-face, and introduces the reaction mechanism of SACs in the electro-oxidation of different small-molecule substrates, such as ethanol, urea and hydrazine, with the aim of providing insights and ideas for the design of more efficient and ideal catalysts. Finally, we discuss the current challenges and future opportunities in the field.

The energy consumption of heating,ventilation,and air conditioning(HVAC)systems holds a significant position in building energy usage,accounting for about 65%of the total energy ***,with the advancement of building automation,the energy consumption of ventilation systems continues to *** study focuses on improving the performance of spherical tuyeres in HVAC *** primarily utilizes neural networks and multi-island genetic algorithms(MIGA)for multi-parameter *** employing methods such as structural parameterization,accurate and fast computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulations,a minimized sample space,and a rational optimization strategy,the time cycle of the optimization process is ***,a new comprehensive evaluation index is proposed in this research to describe the performance of spherical tuyeres,which can be used to more accurately assess spherical tuyeres with different *** results show that by establishing a neural network prediction model and combining it with the multi-island genetic algorithm,a novel spherical tuyere design was successfully *** optimized novel spherical tuyeres achieved a 27.05%reduction in the spherical tuyeres effective index(STEI)compared to the traditional spherical ***,the resistance decreased by 15.68%,and the jet length increased by 7.57%.The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed optimization method exhibits high accuracy,good generalization capability,and excellent agreement at different Reynolds numbers.

Using the behind-meter data,this study applied a comparison and optimization-based framework to evaluate the energy flexibility and resilience of distributed energy resources within existing houses during cold wave *** analysis demonstrates the effectiveness of high envelope insulation level in improving energy resilience,identifies impacts of distributed energy resources on variations of household electricity ***,a 14.6%reduction in the median value of the normalized load of building group with low U-values,implementations of cogeneration system effectively suppressed variations of electricity *** energy performances of on-site generators are evaluated based on high resolution data,energy flexibility of domestic hot water and thermostatically controlled loads were investigated through built demand response *** reveal that electrifying hot water demand offers additional power flexibility,the integration of fuel cell cogeneration system has proven to be an efficient energy resource,enabling on-site generation of both electricity and hot water,substantially reducing grid *** extreme cold event resulted in significant spikes in space heating power *** optimization results demonstrate that reducing the indoor setpoint temperature effectively decreases daily power consumption by approximately 5.0%per degree *** findings help acquire better understanding of interconnections between energy efficiency and resilience of residential energy-efficient measures.

Aiming at defects such as low contrast in infrared ship images,uneven distribution of ship size,and lack of texture details,which will lead to unmanned ship leakage misdetection and slow detection,this paper proposes an infrared ship detection model based on the improved YOLOv8 algorithm(R_YOLO).The algorithm incorporates the Efficient Multi-Scale Attention mechanism(EMA),the efficient Reparameterized Generalized-feature extraction module(CSPStage),the small target detection header,the Repulsion Loss function,and the context aggregation block(CABlock),which are designed to improve the model’s ability to detect targets at multiple scales and the speed of model *** algorithm is validated in detail on two vessel *** comprehensive experimental results demonstrate that,in the infrared dataset,the YOLOv8s algorithm exhibits improvements in various performance ***,compared to the baseline algorithm,there is a 3.1%increase in mean average precision at a threshold of 0.5(mAP(0.5)),a 5.4%increase in recall rate,and a 2.2%increase in mAP(0.5:0.95).Simultaneously,while less than 5 times parameters,the mAP(0.5)and frames per second(FPS)exhibit an increase of 1.7%and more than 3 times,respectively,compared to the CAA_YOLO ***,the evaluation indexes on the visible light data set have shown an average improvement of 4.5%.

The Weyl double copy builds the relation between gauge theory and gravity theory, in particular the correspondence between gauge solutions and gravity solutions. In this paper, we obtain the slowly rotating charge solutions from the Weyl double copy for the Kerr black hole with small Chern-Simons correction. Based on the Weyl double copy relation, for the Petrov type D solution in Chern-Simons modified gravity, we find the additional correction to the electromagnetic field strength tensor of the rotating charge. For the Petrov type I solution, we find that the additional electromagnetic field strength tensors have external sources, while the total sources vanish at the leading order.

In unit cell simulations,identification of ordered phases in block copolymers(BCPs)is a tedious and time-consuming task,impeding the advancement of more streamlined and potentially automated research *** this study,we propose a scattering-based automated identification strategy(SAIS)for characterization and identification of ordered phases of BCPs based on their computed scattering *** approach leverages the scattering theory of perfect crystals to efficiently compute the scattering patterns of periodic morphologies in a unit *** the first stage of the SAIS,phases are identified by comparing reflection conditions at a sequence of Miller *** confirm or refine the identification results of the first stage,the second stage of the SAIS introduces a tailored residual between the test phase and each of the known candidate ***,our strategy incorporates a variance-like criterion to distinguish background species,enabling its extension to multi-species BCP *** has been demonstrated that our strategy achieves exceptional accuracy and robustness while requiring minimal computational ***,the approach allows for real-time expansion and improvement to the candidate phase library,facilitating the development of automated research workflows for designing specific ordered structures and discovering new ordered phases in BCPs.

In this paper,to study the mechanical responses of a solid propellant subjected to ultrahigh acceleration overload during the gun-launch process,specifically designed projectile flight tests with an onboard measurement system were *** projectiles containing dummy HTPB propellant grains were successfully recovered after the flight tests with an ultrahigh acceleration overload value of 8100 *** onboard-measured time-resolved axial displacement,contact stress and overload values were successfully obtained and *** compression tests of the dummy HTPB propellant used in the gunlaunched tests were carried out at low and intermediate strain rates to characterize the propellant's dynamic properties.A linear viscoelastic constitutive model was employed and applied in finite-element simulations of the projectile-launching *** the launch process,the dummy propellant grain exhibited large deformation due to the high acceleration overload,possibly leading to friction between the motor case and propellant *** calculated contact stress showed good agreement with the experimental results,though discrepancies in the overall displacement of the dummy propellant grain were *** dynamic mechanical response process of the dummy propellant grain was analysed in *** results can be used to estimate the structural integrity of the analysed dummy propellant grain during the gun-launch process.
