Developing advanced stealth devices to cope with radar-infrared(IR)fusion detection and diverse application scenarios is increasingly demanded,which faces significant challenges due to conflicting microwave and IR cloaking mechanisms and functional integration ***,we propose a multiscale hierarchical structure design,integrating wrinkled MXene IR shielding layer and flexible Fe_(3)O_(4)@C/PDMS microwave absorption *** top wrinkled MXene layer induces the intensive diffuse reflection effect,shielding IR radiation signals while allowing microwave to pass ***,the permeable microwaves are assimilated into the bottom Fe_(3)O_(4)@C/PDMS layer via strong magneto-electric *** theoretical and experimental optimization,the assembled stealth devices realize a near-perfect stealth capability in both X-band(8–12 GHz)and long-wave infrared(8–14μm)wavelength ***,it delivers a radar cross-section reduction of−20 dB m^(2),a large apparent temperature modulation range(ΔT=70℃),and a low average IR emissivity of ***,the optimal device demonstrates exceptional curved surface conformability,self-cleaning capability(contact angle≈129°),and abrasion resistance(recovery time≈5 s).This design strategy promotes the development of multispectral stealth technology and reinforces its applicability and durability in complex and hostile environments.

Poststro ke cognitive impairment is a major secondary effect of ischemic stroke in many patients;however,few options are available for the early diagnosis and treatment of this *** aims of this study were to(1)determine the specific relationship between hypoxic andα-synuclein during the occur of poststroke cognitive impairment and(2)assess whether the serum phosphorylatedα-synuclein level can be used as a biomarker for poststro ke cognitive *** found that the phosphorylatedα-synuclein level was significantly increased and showed pathological aggregation around the cerebral infa rct area in a mouse model of ischemic *** addition,neuronalα-synuclein phosphorylation and aggregation were observed in the brain tissue of mice subjected to chronic hypoxia,suggesting that hypoxia is the underlying cause ofα-synuclein-mediated pathology in the brains of mice with ischemic *** phosphorylatedα-synuclein levels in patients with ischemic stroke were significantly lower than those in healt hy subjects,and were positively correlated with cognition levels in patients with ischemic ***,a decrease in serum high-density lipoprotein levels in stroke patie nts was significantly correlated with a decrease in phosphorylatedα-synuclein *** ischemic stroke mice did not show significant cognitive impairment or disrupted lipid metabolism 14 days after injury,some of them exhibited decreased cognitive function and reduced phosphorylatedα-synuclein *** together,our results suggest that serum phosphorylatedα-synuclein is a potential biomarker for poststroke cognitive impairment.

Insulation degradation and fracture cracks of mechanical impacted thermal-ageing oil-impregnated papers

In order to elucidate mechanical impacts affecting the insulation strength of thermalageing oil-impregnated pressboards,we perform mechanical degradation experiments of impacting forces that are represented as the winding-suffered stresses on thermalageing oil-paper insulation in transient short-circuit of *** content,degree of polymerisation(DP),partial discharge inception voltage and AC breakdown field strength are tested and analysed for diverse thermal-ageing *** analytical model of mechanical degradation is established by relating dielectric breakdown strength to mechanical *** impacts result in less water content in thermal-aging oilimpregnated pressboards while causing reduction and increment of DP,respectively,in mildly and severely aged oil-impregnated *** discharge inception voltage and dielectric breakdown strength vary significantly with the numbers of impact cycles,showing a maximum value under low-intensity impact and decreasing monotonously under high-intensity ***-intensity mechanical impacts will evidently exacerbate the thermal deterioration process of oil-impregnated pressboards,which is primarily attributed to cellulose fibre fractures in pressboard cracks produced by equivalent tensile stress of mechanical *** is acceptable for mildly aged oil-impregnated pressboards to suffer low-intensity mechanical impacts that will alleviate insulation degradation by restraining partial discharge in smaller oil-gaps and prolonging breakdown discharge pathways along impact-caused cracks.

Dear Editor,This letter deals with the stabilization problem of nonlinear stochastic systems via self-triggered impulsive control(STIC), where the timing of impulsive control actions is not dependent on continuous state monitoring. In contrast to the existing self-triggered control method, novel self-triggered mechanism(STM) is proposed by incorporating a waiting time for stabilizing impulses. This allows for direct prediction of the next impulsive instant.

Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT), heralded as the “king” of conducting polymers, is esteemed in bioelectronics for its mixed electronic and ionic conductivity, mechanical properties compatible with biological tissues, tunable healing ability and stability in diverse environments [1]. Based on additive manufacturing of three-dimensional structures,PEDOT realizes the implementation in the efficient production of flexible bioelectronics, the construction of intricate electrode-neural implantations, and the development of smart brain-computer-interfaces [2].

Extrachromosomal DNA(ecDNA) is a form of circular DNA mostly found in tumor cells. Unlike the typical chromosomal DNA, ecDNA is circular, self-replicating, and carries complete or partial gene fragments. Although ecDNA occurrence remains a rare event in cancer, recent studies have shown that oncogene amplification on ecDNA is widespread throughout many types of cancer, implying that ecDNA plays a central role in accelerating tumor evolution. ecDNA has also been associated with increased tumor mutation burden, chromosomal instability, and even tumor microenvironment remodeling. ecDNA may be crucial in influencing tumor heterogeneity, drug sensitivity,oncogenic senescence, and tumor immunogenicity, leading to a worsening prognosis for tumor patients. In this way, several clinical trials have been conducted to investigate the importance of ecDNA in clinical treatment. In this review, we summarize the biogenesis, characteristics, and current research methods of ecDNA, discuss the vital role of ecDNA-caused tumor heterogeneity in cancers, and highlight the potential role of ecDNA in cancer therapy.

Effects of different concentrations of super-absorbent polymers on soil structure and hydro-physical properties following continuous wetting and drying cycles

Super-absorbent polymers(SAPs)are widely used chemical water-saving materials,which play an active role in the accumulation of soil water and the improvement of soil *** is known about their performance with repeated usage or about factors influencing their efficiency under alternate wetting and drying *** this study,various concentrations of SAP(0,0.1,0.2 and 0.3%)in soil following three continuous wetting and drying cycles(T1,T2 and T3),were studied to determine effects on soil structure stability and hydro-physical *** results indicated that the SAP improved soil water supply capacity under conditions of mild drought(T2)and sufficient irrigation(T3)at concentrations of 0.2 and 0.3%,but a reduction was observed under severe drought conditions(T1),which was negatively correlated with the SAP *** physical adsorption of the SAP by soil and the chemical connection between the SAP and soil mineral colloids as Si-O-Si bonds,-OH bonds and different crystalline silica were the important factors that directly lead to the reduction of water retention capacities of the SAP with alternating wet and dry *** with the control,the soil liquid phase ratios of the SAP treatments were increased by8.8-202.7%in the T1 and T2 cycles,which would have led to a decrease in the soil air phase *** repeated wetting and drying cycles,the SAP treatments increased the amount of>0.25 mm soil aggregates and the contents of water-stable macro-aggregate(R_(0.25)),and decreased the amount of<0.053 mm soil aggregates,especially with higher concentrations of the *** in mean weight diameter(MWD)and geometric mean diameter(GMD),and declines in fractal dimension(D)and unstable aggregates index(E_(LT))were all observed with the SAP treatments,which indicated an improvement in soil stability and *** was concluded that the distribution and stability of soil aggregates and soil water supply capacity was closely related to
