We design and synthesize five novel diazocine derivatives,using diazocine as the core,amide or imine bonds as the connecting units attached with different peripheral *** photoisomerization yield and thermal stability of these derivatives are tested by^(1)H NMR and UV-Vis absorption *** them,the imine-linked derivative exhibits the lowest photoisomerization efficiency,while the amide-linked ones show an elevated switching efficiency in transitioning from the cis to the trans configuration,compared to the unmodified 3,3′-***,based on experiments together with density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we find that the thermal stability of these derivatives is associated with the electron cloud density and steric hindrance of their *** to these unique photophysical properties,diazocine derivatives provide a foundation for the development and application of molecular optical switches.

Civil aviation is one of the industries facing the greatest challenge in reaching carbon neutrality by the middle of this century,and this sector also contributes to adverse impacts on the regional air quality and human *** exhibits the second highest air passenger turnover *** understanding of civil aviation emissionsmust be urgently enhanced,and themitigation potential should be *** this study,on the basis of real domestic flight information for 2019,we built a greenhouse gas and air pollution emission inventory for the civil aviation sector in China with the fuel flowmethod based on the cruise and other *** thoroughly analyzed emissions by region,aircraft and engine types,and aircraft age,based on which we designed four measures to evaluate the abatement *** found that the hydrocarbon(HC),CO,NO_(x),SO_(2),particulate matter(PM)and CO_(2)emissions in 2019 reached 79.9 kt(95%CI[51.6–114.5]),176.3 kt(95%CI[114.5–248.2]),304.2 kt(95%CI[203.4–420.7]),23.2 kt(95%CI[14.2–33.7]),1.0 kt(95%CI[0.61–1.44])and 87.0 Mt(95%CI[57.4–119.6]),*** cruise phase was the major emission phase,accounting for 67%-87%of the total pollutant *** four measures were jointly implemented,the HC,CO,NO_(x),SO_(2),PM and CO_(2)emissions could be reduced by 61%,54%,55%,45%,32%and 38%,*** lower-emission aircraft and switching travel modes could substantially reduce civil aviation emissions in China.

Novel Optimal Load Control for Power System Frequency and Voltage Regulation

The sudden generation-consumption imbalance is becoming more frequent in modern power systems, causing voltage and frequency stability issues. One potential solution is load participation in primary control. We formulate a novel optimal load control(NOLC) problem that aims to minimize the disutility of controllable loads in providing primary regulation. In this paper, we show that the network dynamics, coupled with welldefined load control(obtained via optimality condition), can be seen as an optimization algorithm to solve the dual problem of NOLC. Unlike most existing load control frameworks that only consider frequency response, our load-side primary control focuses on frequency, voltage, and aggregate cost. Simulation results imply that the NOLC approach can ensure better frequency and voltage regulations. Moreover, the coordination between NOLC and other devices enabled in the system, the NOLC performance against the total size of controllable loads, and the NOLC effectiveness in a multi-machine power system are also verified in MATLAB/Simulink.

Calcium-ion batteries have been considered attractive candidates for large-scale energy storage applications due to their natural abundance and low redox potential of Ca^(2+)/***,current calcium ion technology is still hampered by the lack of high-capacity and long-life electrode materials to accommodate the large Ca^(2+)(1.00Å).Herein,an amorphous vanadium structure induced by Mo doping and in-situ electrochemical activation is reported as a high-rate anode material for calcium ion *** doping of Mo could destroy the lattice stability of VS4 material,enhancing the flexibility of the *** following electrochemical activation further converted the material into sulfide and oxides co-dominated composite(defined as MoVSO),which serves as an active material for the storage of Ca^(2+)during ***,this amorphous vanadium structure exhibits excellent rate capability,achieving discharge capacities of 306.7 and 149.2 mAh g^(-1)at 5 and 50 A g^(-1)and an ultra-long cycle life of 2000 cycles with 91.2%capacity *** values represent the highest level to date reported for calcium ion *** mechanism studies show that the material undergoes a partial phase transition process to derive *** work unveiled the calcium storage mechanism of vanadium sulfide in aqueous electrolytes and accelerated the development of high-performance aqueous calcium ion batteries.

The plugging mechanism of multiphase mixed rich-liquid transportation in submarine pipeline is a prerequisite for maintaining the fluid flow in the pipeline and ensuring safe fluid *** paper introduced the common experimental devices used to study multiphase flow,and summarized the plugging progress and mechanism in the liquid-rich ***,it divided the richliquid phase system into an oil-based system,a partially dispersed system,and a water-based system according to the different water cuts,and discussed the mechanism of hydrate ***,it summarized the mechanism and the use of anti-agglomerates in different ***,it proposed some suggestions for future research on hydrate ***,in the oil-based system,the effect factors of hydrates are combined with the mechanical properties of hydrate deposit layer,and the hydrate plugging mechanism models at inclined and elbow pipes should be ***,the mechanism of oilwater emulsion breaking in partially dispersed system and the reason for the migration of the oil-water interface should be analyzed,and the property of the free water layer on the hydrate plugging process should be ***,a complete model of the effect of the synergy of liquid bridge force and van der Waals force in the waterbased system on the hydrate particle coalescence frequency model is needed,and the coalescence frequency model should be ***,the dynamic analysis of a multiphase mixed rich-liquid transportation pipeline should be coupled with the process of hydrate coalescence,deposition,and blockage ***,the effects of anti-agglomerates on the morphological evolution of hydrate under different systems and pipeline plugging conditions in different media should be further explored.

This study aimed to determine the effects of tributyrin on growth performance,gastrointestinal tract development,ruminal bacteria and volatile fatty acid(VFA)*** healthy weaned SmallTailed Han female lambs at 3 months old with BW 27.5±4.1 kg(mean±SD)were randomly assigned to five groups of six lambs each,and each group received tributyrin at 0,0.5,1.0,2.0 and 4.0 g/kg in *** were measured before the start and end of the *** 15 d adaptation,DMI,feed,faeces and urine were recorded every *** were sacrificed at d *** to lambs fed no tributyrin,lambs fed 4.0 g/kg tributyrin had higher average daily BW gain(P=0.04)and DMI(P<0.01).Tributyrin reduced nitrogen(P<0.01),Ca(P<0.01)and P(P<0.01)losses derived from faeces and *** mostly important,tributyrin increased dorsal sac thickness(P<0.01),papillae length(P=0.04)and width(P<0.01),ventral sac papillae length(P<0.01)and width(P<0.01),caudodorsal blind sac thickness(P=0.02),papillae length(P<0.01)and width(P<0.01).Furthermore,tributyrin increased thicknesses of both the duodenum(P<0.01)and ileum(P=0.01),and villus heights of the duodenum(P=0.01),ileum(P<0.01),jejunum(P<0.01)and caecum(P=0.02),but tributyrin decreased duodenal(P<0.01)and caecal crypt depths(P<0.01).Tributyrin reduced rumen pH(P<0.01)while promoting total VFA concentration(P<0.01).Tributyrin improved the structure of rumen bacteria by enhancing Clostridium(P=0.04),Butyrivibrio(P<0.01),Streptococcus(P=0.04),Prevotella(P=0.04),Ruminobacter(P=0.02)and Fibrobacter(P=0.03).In conclusion,tributyrin could stimulate gastrointestinal tract development by enhancing colonization of rumen VFA-producing bacteria,and dietary supplementation of tributyrin at 4.0 g/kg of DM was recommended for the weaned lambs.

Herein,we report an efficient,tunable system for electrochemical reduction of ketones and phthalimides at room temperature without the need for stoichiometric external *** utilizing NaN_(3) as the electrolyte and graphite felt as both the cathode and the anode,we were able to selectively reduce the carbonyl groups of the substrates to alcohols,pinacols,or methylene groups by judiciously choosing the solvent and an acidic *** reaction conditions were compatible with a diverse array of functional groups,and phthalimides could undergo one-pot reductive cyclization to afford products with indolizidine *** studies showed that the reactions involved electron,proton,and hydrogen atom ***,an N_(3)/HN_(3) cycle operated as a hydrogen atom shuttle,which was critical for reduction of the carbonyl groups to methylene groups.

Optimal Over-frequency Droop Control for DFIG-based Wind Farms Under Unreliable Communication

Nowadays,high penetration of wind power is integrated into power grids,and WTs usually adopt the MPPT algorithm to maximize power output,which decouples the rotor speeds of wind turbines(WTs)and system ***,WTs cannot provide frequency support like conventional *** that end,especially avoiding WTs aggravating excessive power generation during over-frequency events,optimal droop control is proposed to reduce power output by fully utilizing WTs’own potential in accelerating *** to unreliable communication in a wind farm,a game theory-based distributed rotor kinetic energy optimization model is developed to obtain the ideal WT rotor speed and power ***,the optimal droop gains for WTs are designed to be proportional to their ideal power ***,not only the frequency support capability of WTs is fully activated,but also as much wind power as possible will be stored as kinetic energy into the accelerated rotor ***,the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed control are verified in MATLAB and DIgSILENT.

Salicylic acid(SA)is an important plant hormone that regulates defense responses and leaf *** is imperative to understand upstream factors that regulate genes of SA ***202/SARD1 is a key regulator for isochorismate synthase 1(ICS1)induction and SA biosynthesis in defense *** regulatory mechanism of SA biosynthesis during leaf senescence is not well *** we show that AtNAP,a senescence-specific NAC family transcription factor,directly regulates a senescence-associated gene named SAG202 as revealed in yeast one-hybrid and in planta *** overexpreesion of AtNAP and SAG202 lead to high levels of SA and precocious senescence in *** knockout mutants of sag202 and ics1 have markedly reduced SA levels and display a significantly delayed leaf senescence ***,SA positively feedback regulates AtNAP and *** research has uncovered a unique positive feedback regulatory loop,SA-AtNAP-SAG202-ICS1-SA,that operates to control SA biosynthesis associated with leaf senescence but not defense response.

The clinical efficacy of current cancer therapies falls short,and there is a pressing demand to integrate new targets with conventional ***,a highly conserved self-degradation process,has received considerable attention as an emerging therapeutic target for *** the rapid development of nanomedicine,nanomaterials have been widely utilized in cancer therapy due to their unrivaled delivery ***,considering the potential benefits of integrating autophagy and nanotechnology in cancer therapy,we outline the latest advances in autophagy-based *** on a brief background related to autophagy and nanotherapeutics and their impact on tumor progression,the feasibility of autophagy-based nanotherapeutics for cancer treatment is ***,emerging nanotherapeutics developed to modulate autophagy are reviewed from the perspective of cell signaling pathways,including modulation of the mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)pathway,autophagy-related(ATG)and its complex expression,reactive oxygen species(ROS)and mitophagy,interference with autophagosome-lysosome fusion,and inhibition of hypoxia-mediated *** addition,combination therapies in which nano-autophagy modulation is combined with chemotherapy,phototherapy,and immunotherapy are also ***,the prospects and challenges of autophagy-based nanotherapeutics for efficient cancer treatment are envisioned.
