Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus(Las)is a fastidious,phloem-restricted pathogen with a significantly reduced genome,and attacks all citrus species with no immune cultivars documented to *** other plant bacterial pathogens,Las deploys effector proteins into the organelles of plant cells,such as mitochondria and chloroplasts to manipulate host immunity and *** organelles are responsible for the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)and have a critical role in plant immune signaling during hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)*** this study,we investigated H2O2 and ATP accumulation in relation to citrus huanglongbing(HLB)in addition to revealing the expression profiles of genes critical for the production and detoxification of H2O2 and ATP *** also found that as ATP and H2O2 concentrations increased in the leaf,so did the severity of the HLB symptoms,a trend that remained consistent among the four different citrus varieties ***,the upregulation of ATP synthase,a key enzyme for energy conversion,may contribute to the accumulation of ATP in infected tissues,whereas downregulation of the H2O2 detoxification system may cause oxidative damage to plant macromolecules and cell *** may explain the cause of some of the HLB symptoms such as chlorosis or leaf *** findings in this study highlight important molecular and physiological mechanisms involved in the host plants’response to Las infection and provide new targets for interrupting the disease cycle.

In this paper,the variable coefficient nonlinear Schrödinger equation with fifth order dispersion in the inhomogeneous optical fiber is investigated to study the impact of fifth order dispersion on attosecond soliton *** on the Darboux transformation method,soliton solution is constructed with modulated coefficients though Lax *** show that the coefficients of GVD and fifth order term are the main keys to control the amplitude,width and phase shift in the *** the suitable choices of coefficients for the obtained soliton solution,some new types of soliton management through fifth order are presented for the first ***,the influence of fifth order dispersion of the higher order NLS equations with and without modulated coefficients is discussed in *** will also highlight the impact of the studies on application in ocean *** results may be potentially useful in the soliton shaping and management in inhomogeneous fibers.

Schumann resonance （SR） is an electromag- netic resonance phenomenon in the Earth-ionosphere cavity exited by global lightning activities when the wavelength matches the circumference of the Earth, and the lowest four peak frequencies of SR are about 8, 14, 20, and 26 Hz. This article presents the new observational data of SR in China. The observations of two horizontal mag- netic components （BNs and BEw） in the frequency band range of 3-29 Hz at Yongsheng observatory （26.7°N, 100.8°E） in southwestern China were mainly analyzed. It is found that the SR amplitudes at peak frequencies in BNs and BEw components all showed diurnal and seasonal variations, and that the SR amplitude in BNS component is always higher than that in BEw component. Diurnal vari- ation of SR amplitude around equinoxes and solstices inBNs component is related to active intervals of three global thunderstorm centers, while SR amplitude in BEw com- ponent is the most significant at around 16 LT, corre- sponding to Asian center. SR amplitudes both in BNs and BEw components increase in the rainy season from may to September. In addition, the SR anomalies in association with the 2011 Japan earthquake are exhibited. The anom- alous effect was characterized by an increase in amplitude at the lowest four SR modes beginning at 4 days before this earthquake. Upon analyzing the wave interference between the direct wave and disturbed wave scattered by localized modification of lower ionosphere over the epicenter, Asian and African thunderstorm centers are found to contribute to anomalous effect observed at Yongsheng station. modeling results of SR regular and disturbed spectra at different local times led to the similar conclusion.

Growth kinetics of the most stable polymorph of calcium carbonate,calcite,has been studied in seeded stirred batch experiments in mEG-water solutions at 40 ℃ and 70 ℃,conditions relevant for the processing of natural *** was found that mEG changes the growth order from two in pure water to one in solvent mixtures of mEG and *** parabolic growth (growth order is equal to two),it could be shown that mEG decreases the growth rate constant for calcite from 0.52 nm/s to 0.11 nm/s (70 ℃) when the mEG-content is increased from 0 wt% mEG to 65 wt% *** the temperature from 70 ℃ to 40 ℃ has a similar effect on the growth rate constant as raising the level of mEG to 65 wt%.

This research investigated the effect of combined chilling and GA_3 treatment on bud abortion of tree peony under greenhouse conditions to determine the dynamics of exogenous hormones and chilling effects on bud abortion. Research of such nature will increase the understanding of the effects of GA_3 and chilling level on flower development thereby, promoting off-season cultivation techniques in tree peonies to increase production that meets market demand. Hormone and sugar levels in the ‘Luoyanghong' tree peony were respectively determined using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC) and spectrophotometer. Non-potted chilling with 200 mg·L^(-1) GA_3 treatment reduced bud abortion rate. Flowering rate in non-potted chilling with 200 mg·L^(-1) GA_3 plants was 58%, as against 21% in potted chilling plants with 200 mg·L^(-1) GA_3 treatment. Sugar accumulation in retained or aborted flower buds was conversely related to ABA level. Low ABA and high sugar levels were noted in retained buds whereas the reverse induced bud abortion. ABA level apparently inhibited sucrose and reducing sugar uptake in aborted buds whereas GA_3 enhanced sucrose uptake in retained buds. GA_3 and IAA levels were higher in retained than in aborted buds, which made plants with retained bud more competitive in nutrient uptake(by root)for growth and development. Overall, combined chilling and GA_3 treatment enhanced plant growth and development, particularly bud sprouting, growth and flowering.

Detection of cracks at the early stage is considered as very constructive since precautionary steps need to be taken to avoid the damage to the civil ***,identifying and classifying the severity level of cracks is inevitable in order to find the stability of ***,this paper proposes an efficient strategy to classify the cracks into fine,medium,and thick using a novel bilayer crack detection *** bilayer crack detection algorithm helps in extracting the requisite features from the crack for efficient *** proposed algorithm works well in the dark background and connects the discontinued cracks *** first layer is used to detect cracks under texture variations and manufacturing defects,through segmented adaptive thresholding and morphological *** residual noise present in the output of the first layer is removed in the second layer of crack *** second layer includes the double scan and the noise reduction algorithms and is used to join the missed crack *** a result,a segmented crack is *** classification is done using an ensemble classifier with bagging,and decision tree techniques by extracting the geometrical features and the weaker crack criterion from the segmented *** results of the proposed technique are compared with the existing techniques for different datasets and have obtained a rise in True Positive Rate(TPR),accuracy and precision *** proposed technique is also implemented in Raspberry Pi for further real-time evaluation.

This work aimed to study and compare the effect of the incorporation of agro-industrial by-products(chestnut shell,grapeseed,and pomegranate peel)into yoghurts to fortify them while assessing their potential to replace synthetic *** each by-product,phenolic extracts were obtained and *** extracts demonstrated antioxidant and antibacterial properties,and the capacity to inhibitα-*** shell extract stood out regarding antioxidant capacity,displaying values of 1128 and 972 mgT_(rolox•gextract)^(-1),for the assays with DPPH and ABTS,*** yoghurts were produced(negative control,positive control with 0.1%of sorbic acid,two for each extract with 0.1%and 0.2%of extract,a mixture of extracts and a mixture of extracts with sorbic acid),and stored at 4℃.The incorporation of the extracts into the yoghurts maintained their physical-chemical properties and microbiological *** samples inhibited the growth of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus *** analysis proved that higher concentrations of extract had similar results to synthetic *** results showed the viability to fortify yoghurts with the incorporation of by-product extracts,developing a value-added ***,revealed the possibility of these extracts replacing synthetic preservatives and antioxidants.

In this study,the sine-Gordon equation method is modified to deal with variable-coefficient systems containing imaginary parts,such as nonlinear Schrödinger *** are of considerable importance in many fields of research,including ocean engineering and *** an example,we apply the modified method to variable-coefficient coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations and Davey-Stewartson system with variable coefficients,treating them as one-dimensional and two-dimensional systems,*** a result of this application,novel solitary wave solutions are obtained for both ***,some figures are provided to illustrate how the solitary wave propagation is determined by the different values of the variable group velocity dispersion terms,which can be used to model various phenomena.
