In recent years, an emerging technology termed high-strength concrete （HSC） has become popular in construction industry. Present study describes an experimental research on the behavior of high-strength concrete beams in ultimate and service state. Six simply supported beams were tested, by applying comprising two symmetric concentrated loads. Tests are reported in this study on the flexural behavior of high-strength reinforced concrete （HSRC） beams made with coarse and fine aggregate together with Microsilica. Test parameter considered includes effect of being compressive reinforcement. Based on the obtained results, the behavior of such members is more deeply reviewed. also a comparison between theoretical and experimental results is reported here. The beams were made from concrete having compressive strength of 66.81-77.72 N/mm2 and percentage reinforcement ratio （P/Pb） in the range of 0.56% - 1.20%. The ultimate moment for the tested beams was found to be in a good agreement with that of the predicted ultimate moment based on ACI 318-11, ACI 363 and C SA-04 provisions. The predicted deflection based classical formulation based on code provisions for serviceability requirements is found to underestimate the maximum deflection of HSC reinforced beams at service load.

Decision making in case of medical diagnosis is a complicated process.A large number of overlapping structures and cases,and distractions,tiredness,and limitations with the human visual system can lead to inappropriate *** learning(ML)methods have been employed to assist clinicians in overcoming these limitations and in making informed and correct decisions in disease *** academic papers involving the use of machine learning for disease diagnosis have been increasingly getting ***,to determine the use of ML to improve the diagnosis in varied medical disciplines,a systematic review is conducted in this *** carry out the review,six different databases are *** and exclusion criteria are employed to limit the ***,the eligible articles are classied depending on publication year,authors,type of articles,research objective,inputs and outputs,problem and research gaps,and ndings and *** the selected articles are analyzed to show the impact of ML methods in improving the disease *** ndings of this study show the most used ML methods and the most common diseases that are focused on by *** also shows the increase in use of machine learning for disease diagnosis over the *** results will help in focusing on those areas which are neglected and also to determine various ways in which ML methods could be employed to achieve desirable results.

Objective:To explore the clinical features,diagnosis,etiology,treatment,and outcomes of COVID-19 related ***:Using PRISMA statement,a systematic search of relevant case reports published between December 2019 and April 2023 was performed through seven *** collected data included demographics,clinical manifestations,diagnostic findings,treatment,and ***:Thirty-six case reports were identified with 43 cases of *** included cases had a median age of 55 years(range:12-78 years)and 79.1%(34/43)were *** majority of cases presented during hospitalization for management of acute COVID-19 infection(29/43,67.4%)and Charlson comorbidity indexal fluid(9/43,20.9%)and 16.3%of the cases(7/43)had polymicrobial *** drainage was performed in all cases while surgery was indicated in 24 cases(55.8%).The most common complication of COVID-19-related empyema was broncho-pleural fistula(2/43,4.7%).The mortality rate was 23.3%(10/43).Sepsis and/or multi-organ failure were the most commonly reported causes of *** univariate analysis,no statistically significant risk factor for mortality was ***:COVID-19-associated empyema has a variety of predisposing factors,time of presentation,clinical features,and causative *** or minimally invasive surgical procedures are performed more frequently than isolated chest *** in COVID-19 patients worsens their prognosis and can lead to serious complications.

Can We Predict the Change in Code in a Software Product Line Project?

Software programs are always prone to change for several reasons. In a software product line, the change is more often as many software units are carried from one release to another. also, other new files are added to the reused files. In this work, we explore the possibility of building a model that can predict files with a high chance of experiencing the change from one release to another. Knowing the files that are likely to face a change is vital because it will help to improve the planning, managing resources, and reducing the cost. This also helps to improve the software process, which should lead to better software quality. also, we explore how different learners perform in this context, and if the learning improves as the software evolved. Predicting change from a release to the next release was successful using logistic regression, J48, and random forest with accuracy and precision scored between 72% to 100%, recall scored between 74% to 100%, and F-score scored between 80% to 100%. We also found that there was no clear evidence regarding if the prediction performance will ever improve as the project evolved.

Background: Total quality management (TQM) plays a major role in quality health services improvement. The aims of the study are to identify the concepts of total quality management in health institutions to know the nature of the relationship between the application of TQM and improving the quality of health services in Sana’a Governorate. Method: This applied research is a descriptive cross-sectional study in which the TQM of 13 affiliated Sana’a Governorate hospitals during “2017-2020”, were evaluated based on self-administered questionnaires. Data were collected by questionnaires including demographical variables, TQM dimensions variables. Data were analyzed by using SPSS version 16. Results: A total of 281 users 98.6% had responded. The employee’s responses for sixth study dimensions were the top manager’s commitment (TMC) 80.46%, customers focusing CF 81.55%, continuous improvement (CI) 82.32%, training (T) 71.51%, and strategic planning of the quality (SPQ) 74.76%, health services quality improvement (HSQI) 74.25%. There is a strong relationship between TQM and HSQI. There is no relationship between demographic factors gender, profession, years of experience, except age with TMC, T, HSQI, qualification with the TMC, CI, T, HSQI and job with all study variables. Conclusion: The application of TQM at hospitals in quality of health services improvement has several challenges, lacking staff experience and lacking leadership support, weakness of the training, customers focusing, continuous improvement, and strategic planning of the quality. Therefore, benefiting from the experiences of leading hospitals in implementing total quality management programs by sending some cadres to these hospitals for training and gaining experience or by hosting experienced cadres to conduct training courses is recommended.

Background: Health information systems (HIS) play a major role in decision-making. The aim is to identify the components of computerized HIS and their relationship to administrative decisions at the main referral hospitals for Sana’a city. Method: This applied research is a descriptive, cross-sectional study in which the HIS of 7 hospitals affiliated with Sana’a city hospitals during “2017-2020”, was evaluated based on Self-administered questionnaires. Data were collected by using Self-administered questionnaires and analyzed in SPSS 16 by using descriptive statistics. Results: A total of 626 users (95.7%) had responded. 73%, 75%, 69%, 70%, 71% of users mentioned that resources were available, for physical, software, human, organizational, and decision computerized HIS, respectively. The study showed a strong relationship between computerized information systems with their physical, software, human and organizational components, and medical and administrative decisions. While the study showed the absence of a relationship between demographic factors and computerized information systems with their hardware, software, human and organizational components, medical and administrative decisions, except for gender with organizational components, age, qualification with hardware and software components, and years of experience with all study variables. Conclusion: The application of HIS at hospitals in decision-making has several challenges, including the lack of updating of hardware and software components Furthermore, the absence of specific, focusing on developing their technical staffs, and mobilizing financial resources to achieve implementation properly. Therefore, establishing the technical management with clear roles and tasks with multi-disciplinary, and increasing the support of the administrative leadership in the process of implementing HIS are recommended.

Background Changing the distance between a sample and an exposed solid-state nuclear track detector affects the number of alpha tracks recorded by the *** concept had been used to distinguish high-energy alpha particles by computing the alpha emission rate at two distances(0 and 2 cm)from animal bone *** and methods Two Cr-39 detectors were placed in a container with bone ash inside to measure the alpha emission rate when the detectors were in contact with the ash and hung at a distance of 2 cm from the *** The alpha emission rate was found to be 62.7×10^(−4) Bq cm^(−2) when the detector was in contact with the sample(a small exposure area)and 324.4×10^(−4) Bq cm^(−2) when the sample was placed 2 cm away(a larger exposure area).A mathematical equalization of the exposure areas was conducted(the area of the detector exposed to the alpha emitter sample at a distance of 2 cm was equalized to the area exposed when in contact with the sample).After equalization,a reduction in the average value of the alpha emission rate from 324.4×10^(−4) to 17.4×10^(−4) Bq cm^(−2) was *** The increase in distance between the sample and the detector allowed only high-energy alpha particles with a range greater than the traveled distance to reach the ***,this system can distinguish the type and number of nuclides in the sample by changing the distance between the detector and the sample according to each nucleus ***,the results show that the alpha emission rates in these bone samples are higher than the local values.
