An international panel recently proposed an update to the terminology and diagnostic criteria for fatty liver *** experts proposed a change in the nomenclature from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)to metabolic(dysfunction)-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD).This single-letter change,we believe,heralds the dawn of a new era in clinical practice and in clinical and basic research as *** new nomenclature with the easily applicable approach has stimulated the enthusiasm of the researchers worldwide,resulting in a large number of publications over the past two *** recent studies have provided tremendous evidence of the superiority of the MAFLD criteria over the NAFLD *** studies in different geographic areas of the world including the United States,Europe,and Asia on a large number of patients proved that the utility of MAFLD criteria was higher than that of the NAFLD criteria in different aspects of fatty liver ***,many societies,physician and nurse groups,health stakeholders,representatives of regulatory sciences,and others endorsed the new *** we highlight the endorsement of the new name by different societies and groups and the outcome of different studies on the new nomenclature in addition to a short discussion of the debate by some experts.

Understanding the mutual relationship between the liver and the heart is important for both hepatologists and cardiologists. Hepato-cardiac diseases can be classified into heart diseases affecting the liver, liver diseases affecting the heart, and conditions affecting the heart and the liver at the same time. Differential diagnoses of liver injury are extremely important in a cardiologist's clinical practice calling for collaboration between cardiologists and hepatologists due to the many other diseases that can affect the liver and mimic haemodynamic injury. Acute and chronic heart failure may lead to acute ischemic hepatitis or chronic congestive hepatopathy. Treatment in these cases should be directed to the primary heart disease. In patients with advanced liver disease, cirrhotic cardiomyopathy may develop including hemodynamic changes, diastolic and systolic dysfunctions, reduced cardiac performance and electrophysiological abnormalities. Cardiac evaluation is important for patients with liver diseases especially before and after liver transplantation. Liver transplantation may lead to the improvement of all cardiac changes and the reversal of cirrhotic cardiomyopathy. There are systemic diseases that may affect both the liver and the heart concomitantly including congenital, metabolic and inflammatory diseases as well as alcoholism. AIM： To determine the prevalence and possible risk factors of Barrett＇s esophagus （BE） in patients with chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease （GERD） in EI Minya and Assuit, Upper Egypt. METHODS： One thousand consecutive patients with chronic GERD symptoms were included in the study over 2 years. They were subjected to history taking including a questionnaire for GERD symptoms, clinical examination and upper digestive tract endoscopy. Endoscopic signs suggestive of columnar-lined esophagus （CLE） were defined as mucosal tongues or an upward shift of the squamocolumnar junction. BF was diagnosed by pathological examination when specialized intestinal metaplasia was detected histologically in suspected CLE. pH was monitored in 40 patients. RESULTS： BE was present in 7.3% of patients with chronic GERD symptoms, with a mean age of 48.3 ± 8.2 years, which was significantly higher than patients with GERD without BE （37.4 ± 13.6 years）. Adenocarcinoma was detected in eight cases （0.8%）, six of them in BE patients. There was no significant difference between patients with BE and GERD regarding sex, smoking, alcohol consumption or symptoms of GERD. Patients with BE had significantly longer esophageal acid exposure time in the supine position, measured by pH monitoring. CONCLUSION： The prevalence of BE in patients with GERD who were referred for endoscopy was 7.3%. BE seems to be associated with older age and more in patients with nocturnal gastroesophageal reflux.

This study includes an experimental and numerical analysis of the performances of a parabolic trough collector(PTC)with and without cylindrical *** PTC is designed with dimensions of 2.00 m in length and 1.00 m in *** related reflector is made of lined sheets of aluminum,and the tubes are made of stainless steel used for the absorption of *** have an outer diameter of 0.051 m and a wall thickness of 0.002 ***,used as a heat transfer fluid(HTF),flows through the absorber tube at a mass flow rate of 0.7 kg/*** dimensions of cylindrical turbulators are 0.04 m in length and 0.047 m in *** are performed using the ANSYS Fluent 2020 R2 *** PTC performance is evaluated by comparing the experimental and numerical outcomes,namely,the outlet temperature,useful heat,and thermal efficiency for a modified tube(MT)(tube with novel cylindrical turbulators)and a plain tube(PT)(tube without novel cylindrical turbulators).According to the results,the experimental outlet temperatures recorded 63.2°C and 50.5°C for the MT and PT,*** heat gain reaches 1137.5 Win the MT and 685.8 Win the *** to the PT collector,the PTC exhibited a(1.64 times)higher efficiency.

Structured Query Language Injection Attack (SQLIA) is the most exposed to attack on the Internet. From this attack, the attacker can take control of the database therefore be able to interpolate the data from the database server for the website. Hence, the big challenge became to secure such website against attack via the Internet. We have presented different types of attack methods and prevention techniques of SQLIA which were used to aid the design and implementation of our model. In the paper, work is separated into two parts. The first aims to put SQLIA into perspective by outlining some of the materials and researches that have already been completed. The section suggesting methods of mitigating SQLIA aims to clarify some misconceptions about SQLIA prevention and provides some useful tips to software developers and database administrators. The second details the creation of a filtering proxy server used to prevent a SQL injection attack and analyses the performance impact of the filtering process on web application.
