Mung bean （Vigna radiata L.） is rich in D-chiro-inositol （DCI）, vitexin, and isovitexin, which has beneficial effects on antidiabetic and inhibits the formation of advanced glycation end-products. In this study, near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy （NIRS） was used to predict the contents of DCI, vitexin, and isovitexin in mung bean. The spectra data were linearized with those determined by high-performance liquid chromatography （HPLC）. The models for predicting the DCI, vitexin, and isovitexin contents in mung bean were developed using partial least-squares （PLS） algorithm. Cross-validation procedures indicated good correlations between HPLC data and NIRS predictions （R2=0.90 for DCI, R2=0.81 for vitexin, and R2=0.90 for isovitexin）. The predictive contents of DCI, vitexin, and isovitexin ranged from 2.082 to 3.084%, 1.277 to 1.307%, and 0.5998 to 0.6286%, respectively. The results showed that NIRS, a well-established and widely applied technique, could be applied to rapid detection of DCI, vitexin, and isovitexin contents in mung bean.

Mung bean （Vigna radiata L.） is rich in bioactive compounds including D-chiro-inositol （DCI）, vitexin, and isovitexin, which have beneficial effects on patients with diabetes. To find a better source for these valuable chemicals, we have collected 110 varieties of mung bean seed samples and 8 mung bean products to determine the levels of these bioactive compounds. We also measured the DCI content in mung bean sprouts at different germination stages. Content of DCI, vitexin, and isovitexin in all mung bean varieties ranged from 0.43 to 5.79, 0.12 to 3.00, and 0.03 to 1.16 mg g-~, respectively. The varieties of C0001321, C0003522, and C0004485 have the highest DCI, vitexin, and isovitexin contents, respectively. The mung bean products in the market contained relatively lower level of these bioactive components. Contents of DCI, vitexin, and isovitexin in all mung bean products ranged from 0.119 to 0.717, 0 to 0.547, and 0 to 0.923 mg g-~, respectively. During the 112 h of germination test, DCI level steadily increased at first stage and reached the highest level at 80 h of germination （4.79 mg g-~）. These results provide useful information for the selection of suitable varieties and proper germination stages to obtain functional ingredients from mung beans.

BACKGROUND Endoscopic removal with forceps/baskets is favored in treating submandibular stones due to its minimal ***,recent studies have found that endoscopic removal failure(ERF)is not unusual,and stones in such cases still need to be removed with other surgical *** the risk of ERF can be predicted preoperatively,it could be helpful for surgeons when choosing the appropriate *** To develop a predictive nomogram for the risk of ERF when treating submandibular stones based on their preoperative clinical *** A total of 180 patients with 211 submandibular stones treated from January 2012 to December 2020 were included in the current *** on the preoperative clinical features of the stones,independent risk factors for ERF were identified by logistic regression *** stones were then randomly divided into training and testing sets.A nomogram was constructed to predict the risk of ERF using the training set and then validated using both *** predictive performance of the nomogram was assessed by calibration curves and the concordance index(Cindex).RESULTS Three independent predictors,location(P=0.040),transverse diameter(P<0.001)and longitudinal diameter(P<0.001)measured on the cone beam computed tomography(CBCT)images of the submandibular stones,were identified and included in the predictive *** curves of the nomogram showed good agreement between the predicted and observed probabilities in both *** C-index in the training set was 0.917(95%CI,0.875-0.959)and that in the testing set was 0.925(95%CI,0.862-0.989).CONCLUSION A nomogram based on the location,transverse and longitudinal diameters on CBCT images of submandibular stones showed satisfactory efficacy in predicting the risk of ERF preoperatively when treating submandibular stones.

Lithium argyrodites with high ionic conductivity and low cost are considered as one of the most prospective solid electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium ***,the poor chemical stability and compatibility with lithium metal limit their ***,Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2solid electrolyte with high ionic conductivity of 11.49 m S cm-1and improved chemical stability is synthesized by iodine *** ultra-thin Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane with thickness of 10μm can be obtained by wet coating process,exhibiting a high ionic conductivity of 2.09 mS cm-1and low areal resistance of 1.17Ω***,iodine doping could in-situ form LiI at the lithium/electrolyte interface and improve the critical current density of Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.6from 0.8 to 1.35 mA *** resultant LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2/Li battery shows excellent cycling stability at 1 C,with a reversible specific capacity of 110.1 mA h g-1and a retention of 80.5% after 1000 *** addition,the assembled LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane/Li pouch cell delivers an initial discharge capacity of 110.4 mA h g-1and 80.5% capacity retention after 100 cycles.

Transition metal-based nanomaterials have emerged as promising electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction（OER）. Considerable research efforts have shown that self-reconstruction occurs on these nanomaterials under operating conditions of OER process. However, most of them undergo incomplete reconstruction with limited thickness of reconstruction layer, leading to low component utilization and arduous exploration of real catalytic mechanism. Herein, we identify the dynamic behaviors in complete reconstruction of Co-based complexes during OER. The hollow phytic acid（PA） cross-linked CoFe-based complex nanoboxes with porous nanowalls are designed because of their good electrolyte penetration and mass transport ability, in favor of the fast and complete reconstruction. A series of experiment characterizations demonstrate that the reconstruction process includes the fast substitution of PA by OH-to form Co（Fe）(OH)xand subsequent potential-driven oxidation to Co（Fe）OOH. The obtained CoFeOOH delivers a low overpotential of 290 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm-2and a long-term *** experiment results together with theory calculations reveal that the Fe incorporation can result in the electron rearrangement of reconstructed CoFeOOH and optimization of their electronic structure,accounting for the enhanced OER activity. The work provides new insights into complete reconstruction of metal-based complexes during OER and offers guidelines for rational design of high-performance electrocatalysts.
