A very long wavelength infrared（VLWIR） focal plane array based on In As/Ga Sb type-Ⅱ super-lattices is demonstrated on a Ga Sb substrate. A hetero-structure photodiode was grown with a 50% cut-off wavelength of 15.2 μm, at 77 K.A 320×256 VLWIR focal plane array with this design was fabricated and characterized. The peak quantum efficiency without an antireflective coating was 25.74% at the reverse bias voltage of-20 mV, yielding a peak specific detectivity of 5.89×10^10cm·Hz^1/2·W^-1. The operability and the uniformity of response were 89% and 83.17%. The noise-equivalent temperature difference at 65 K exhibited a minimum at 21.4 mK, corresponding to an average value of 56.3 mK.

Mutations and transient conformational movements of the receptor binding domain(RBD) that make neutralizing epitopes momentarily unavailable present immune escape routes for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2). To mitigate viral escape, we developed a cocktail of neutralizing antibodies(NAbs) targeting epitopes located on different domains of spike(S) protein. Screening of a library of monoclonal antibodies generated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of COVID-19 convalescent patients yielded potent NAbs, targeting the N-terminal domain(NTD) and RBD domain of S, effective at n M concentrations. Remarkably, a combination of RBD-targeting NAbs and NTD-binding NAbs, FC05, enhanced the neutralization potency in cell-based assays and an animal model. Results of competitive surface plasmon resonance assays and cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM) structures of antigen-binding fragments bound to S unveil determinants of immunogenicity. Combinations of immunogens, identified in the NTD and RBD of S, when immunized in rabbits and macaques, elicited potent protective immune responses against SARS-CoV-2. More importantly, two immunizations of this combination of NTD and RBD immunogens provided complete protection in macaques against a SARS-CoV-2 challenge, without observable antibody-dependent enhancement of infection. These results provide a proof of concept for neutralization-based immunogen design targeting SARS-CoV-2 NTD and RBD.

By using p-type polymer poly(2,5-Didodecyloxy-1,4-Phenylenylenevinylene)(PDDOPV)and n-type inorganic material ZnO:Zn,the electronluminescent(EL)emission from bilayer device based on polymer/inorganic hetero-junction was successfully *** comparison with single layer polymer device,with dc voltage of 10V,the brightness and luminous efficiency of bilayer device were enhanced 14 and 26 times,*** EL spectrum of bilayer device is not identical to the characteristic emission spectrum of either PDDOPV or ZnO:Zn,and shifts continuously towards to short wavelength direction as the applied voltage increases.

Bombyx mori cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus(BmCPV)is a major pathogen of the economic insect silkworm,Bombyx ***‐encoded microRNAs(miRNAs)have been proven to play important roles in host–pathogen *** this study we identified a BmCPV‐derived miRNA‐like 21 nt small RNA,BmCPV‐miR‐1,from the small RNA deep sequencing of BmCPV‐infected silkworm larvae by stem‐loop quantitative real‐time PCR(qPCR)and investigated its functions with qPCR and lentiviral expression *** mori inhibitor of apoptosis protein(BmIAP)gene was predicted by both target prediction software miRanda and Targetscan to be one of its target genes with a binding site for BmCPV‐miR‐1 at the 5′untranslated *** was found that the expression of BmCPV‐miR‐1 and its target gene BmIAP were both up‐regulated in BmCPV‐infected *** the same time,it was confirmed that BmCPV‐miR‐1 could up‐regulate the expression of BmIAP gene in HEK293T cells with lentiviral expression systems and in BmN cells by transfecting ***,BmCPV‐miR‐1 mimics could up‐regulate the expression level of BmIAP gene in midgut and fat body in the *** the midgut of BmCPV‐infected larvae,BmCPV‐miR‐1 mimics could be further up‐regulated and inhibitors could lower the virus‐mediated expression of BmIAP *** the viral genomic RNA segments S1 and S10 as indicators,BmCPV‐miR‐1 mimics could up‐regulate and inhibitors down‐regulate their replication in the infected *** results implied that BmCPV‐miR‐1 could inhibit cell apoptosis in the infected silkworm through up‐regulating BmIAP expression,providing the virus with a better cell circumstance for its replication.

As a macronutrient,Phosphorus(P)takes many roles in plant growth and *** should be significant to explore the molecular mechanism of low-phosphorus stress response of *** starvation response(PHR)transcription factors play important roles in response to phosphorus deficiency stress in *** this study,we isolated a gene related to the plant phosphorus signaling system from the acid-soil-resistant centipedegrass(Eremochloa ophiuroides[Munro]Hack.),termed *** subcellular localization of EoPHR2 protein was observed to be nuclear *** expression patterns of EoPHR2 in different tissues and Al/Pi-stress conditions were analyzed by qRT-PCR,they suggested a potential role in response to the multiple-stress under acid soil *** on the functional identification through transgenic plants,we found that(1)EoPHR2 is involved in the Pi-signaling pathway,and(2)overexpression of EoPHR2 mimics Pi-starvation signalling resulting on enhanced roots whether under Pi-deficiency stress or *** conclusion,EoPHR2 transcription factor plays a role in response to the multiple stresses under acid soil conditions,improving the low-phosphorus stress resistance of Eremochloa ophiuroides.
