Nitrate transporter NRT1.1 and anion channel SLAH3 form a functional unit to regulate nitrate-dependent alleviation of ammonium toxicity

Ammonium(NH_(4)^(+))and nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))are major inorganic nitrogen(N)sources for *** serving as the sole or dominant N supply,NH_(4)^(+)often causes root inhibition and shoot chlorosis in plants,known as ammonium ***_(3)^(-) usually causes no toxicity and can mitigate ammonium toxicity even at low concentrations,referred to as nitrate-dependent alleviation of ammonium *** previous studies indicated a NO_(3)^(-) efflux channel SLAH3 is involved in this ***,whether additional components contribute to NO_(3)^(-)-mediated NH_(4)^(+)detoxification is ***,mutations in NO_(3)^(-) transporter NRT1.1 were shown to cause enhanced resistance to high concentrations of NH_(4)^(+).Whereas,in this study,we found when the high-NH_(4)^(+) medium was supplemented with low concentrations of NO_(3)^(-),nrt1.1 mutant plants showed hyper-sensitive phenotype ***,mutation in NRT1.1 caused enhanced medium acidification under high-NH_(4)^(+)/Iow-NO_(3)^(-) condition,suggesting NRT1.1 regulates ammonium toxicity by facilitating H+***,NRT1.1 was shown to interact with SLAH3 to form a transporter-channel ***,SLAH3 appeared to affect NO_(3)^(-) influx while NRT1.1 influenced NO_(3)^(-) efflux,suggesting NRT1.1 and SLAH3 regulate each other at protein and/or gene expression *** study thus revealed NRT1.1 and SLAH3 form a functional unit to regulate nitrate-dependent alleviation of ammonium toxicity through regulating NO_(3)^(-) transport and balancing rhizosphere acidification.

Alzheimer's disease poses a significant global health challenge owing to the progressive cognitive decline of patients and absence of curative *** current therapeutic strategies,primarily based on cholinesterase inhibitors and N-methyl-Daspartate receptor antagonists,offer limited symptomatic relief without halting disease progression,highlighting an urgent need for novel research directions that address the key mechanisms underlying Alzheimer's *** studies have provided insights into the critical role of glycolysis,a fundamental energy metabolism pathway in the brain,in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's *** in glycolytic processes within neurons and glial cells,including microglia,astrocytes,and oligodendrocytes,have been identified as significant contributors to the pathological landscape of Alzheimer's *** changes impact neuronal health and function,thus offering promising targets for therapeutic *** purpose of this review is to consolidate current knowledge on the modifications in glycolysis associated with Alzheimer's disease and explore the mechanisms by which these abnormalities contribute to disease onset and *** focus on the pathways through which glycolytic dysfunction influences Alzheimer's disease pathology should provide insights into potential therapeutic targets and strategies that pave the way for groundbreaking treatments,emphasizing the importance of understanding metabolic processes in the quest for clarification and management of Alzheimer's disease.

Objective:To explore the effect ofβ-TCP/PLLA scaffold in repairing rabbit radial lone ***:Thirty New Zealand rabbits were divided intoβ-TCP/PLLA group(group A),pure PLLA group(group B)and contrast group(group C)*** rabbits were sacrificed respectively after 4.8.12,24 weeks and the X-ray film was performed at the same time to evaluate the repair effect in different ***:X-ray film showed there was uneven low density bone callus development in defect region after 4 weeks in group *** defect region was filled with neonate osseous tissue completely during 12-24 weeks.X-ray score revealed that repair of bone defect results significantly better than group B and group ***:Theβ-PCP/PLLA composite is capable of repairing radial lone lone defects.β-TCP/PLLA scaffold is significant because of rapid degradation ability,good histocompatihility and osteogenic action.

Alkylation of the ketimine 2 obtained from condensation of (+)-ketopinic acid and benzyla- mine with a variety of alkylating agents gives the products whose trends in diastereomeric excesses (1- 100% O. P.) appear to correlate with the structure and reactivity of electrophilic agents. Using excess n-butyl lithium and allylic or benzylic halides, β-alkylation occured.

The special-general partnership is an organization form preferentially adopted by China’s large and medium-sized accounting firms during the process of growing stronger and *** civil liability of accounting firms with special-general partnership has such main characteristics:the dual form of civil liability,the partner assuming limited liabilities also having the right to manage the partnership affairs,the kind of organization being possible to increase the interest conflict between the partners as well as the debt repayment risks toward external creditors,and so *** adopting the special-general partnership as the organizational form,the large and medium-sized accounting firms is,in essence,seeking and eventually reaching a balance of the interests of the related stakeholders,while the rational allocation of the civil liability between practicing partners and non-practicing partners is the key to reach this kind of interest balance.

The effect and mechanism of phenylacetic acid on the proliferation of pancreatic carcinoma cells were investigated in cultured pancreatic carcinoma BXPC-3 cells by means of 3-（4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl）-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay and flow cytometry *** results show that the treatment of pancreatic carcinoma cells with phenylacetic acid significantly inhibited the cell proliferation in time-dependent and dose-dependent *** proliferation of BXPC-3 cells was inhibited at the stage of S phase,the cells at the end stage of S phase were accumulated abundantly,and thus DNA synthesis could not be accomplished *** addition,the expression of adenosine deaminases acting on RNA（ADARs） mRNA in BXPC-3 cells and pancreatic carcinoma specimen were detected by *** been treated with phenylacetic acid,ADAR2 mRNA in BXPC-3 cells was significantly decreased,the differences were of statistical significance（P0.01）.Taken together,these results suggest that phenylacetic acid may likely regulate the proliferation of pancreatic carcinoma cells through the regulation of ADAR2 mRNA expression.

As a versatile chiral ammonia equivalent, chiral tert-butylsulfinylamide (6) (TBSA) is a very useful auxiliary due to the characteristics of highly stereoselectivity in asymmetric induction and the sulfinyl group being easily removed compared with other amine auxiliaries since its introduction as a stable compound by Ellman in 1997.[1] Considering the importance of TBSA 6, search for efficient methods for the preparation of enantiopure TBSA (6) is the great interesting topic in synthetic chemistry. Biocompatibility of Mg-Nd-Zn-Zr alloy with rabbit blood

In this study, in vitro blood biocompatibility of Mg-Nd-Zn-Zr (JDBM) alloy was investigated to determine its suitability as a degradable medical biomaterial. Blood biocompatibility was assessed by blood cell aggregation, platelet adhesion, and protein adsorption. A titanium alloy was used as control. The results showed that the JDBM alloy did not induce significant blood cell aggregation, platelet adhesion, and protein adsorption comparison with the titanium alloy (P>0.05). Our data indicate that the JDBM alloy has excellent in vitro blood compatibility, and thus can be considered as a potential degradable biomaterial for medical applications with respect to hemocompatibility.

Design of tunneling injection quantum dot lasers

To implement high quality tunneling injection quantum dot lasers, effects of primary factors on performance of the tunneling injection quantum dot lasers were investigated. The considered factors were tunneling probability, tun- neling time and carriers thermal escape time from the quantum well. The calculation results show that with increas- ing of the ground-state energy level in quantum well, the tunneling probability increases and the tunneling time decreases, while the thermal escape time decreases because the ground-state energy level is shallower. Longitudinal optical phonon-assisted tunneling can be an effective method to solve the problem that both the tunneling time and the thermal escape time decrease simultaneously with the ground-state energy level increasing in quantum well.
