Validation of the eighth edition of the AJCC staging system for patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma initially receiving chemoradiotherapy and proposal of modifications

Objective:To validate the eighth edition of the AJCC staging system in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma receiving only stereotactic body radiation therapy and chemotherapy,and to propose modifications to improve prognostic accuracy.Methods:Patients with pathologically confirmed pancreatic adenocarcinoma without metastasis who were undergoing only chemoradiotherapy were included and staged according to the seventh and eighth editions of the AJCC staging system.Meanwhile,another group of stage T4 patients from the above enrollment with only portal vein involvement with or without tumor thrombi(PV±PVTT)were retrieved for survival comparisons.Modifications were proposed according to the survival comparisons.A cohort from the SEER database was used for external validation of the modified staging system.Results:A total of 683 patients were included.Patients with N2 or N1 but different T stages had significantly different survival outcomes according to the eighth edition.The survival of patients with(PV±PVTT)was comparable to that of patients with T4 tumors.The concordance index of the seventh and eighth editions,and the modified staging system was 0.744(95%CI:0.718—0.769),0.750(95%CI:0.725—0.775),and 0.788(95%CI:0.762-0.813),respectively.For external validation,the concordance index was 0.744(95%CI:0.718-0.770),0.750(95%CI:0.724-0.776),and 0.788(95%CI:0.762-0.814),respectively.Conclusions:The modified staging system is suggested to have the m ost accurate prognostic value.Hence,PV土PVTT should be added to the definition of T4 tumors regardless of tumor size.Patients with N2 or N1 in different T stages could be regrouped into different substages.Additionally,stage III should be subclassified into IIIA(T3N 2 and T4N 0)and IIIB(T4N 1-2).

Photothermal nanotheranostics, especially in the near infrared II(NIR-II) region, exhibits a great potential in precision and personalized medicine, owing to high tissue penetration of NIR-II light.NIR-II-photothermal nanoplatforms with high biocompatibility as well as high photothermal effect are urgently needed but rarely reported so far. Te nanomaterials possess high absorbance to NIR-II light but also exhibit high cytotoxicity, impeding their biomedical applications. In this work, the controllable incorporation of biocompatible Se into the lattice of Te nanostructures is proposed to intrinsically tune their inherent cytotoxicity and enhance their biocompatibility, developing TeSexnano-alloys as a new kind of theranostic nanoplatform. We have uncovered that the cytotoxicity of Te nanomaterials primarily derives from irreversible oxidation stress and intracellular imbalance of organization and energy, and can be eliminated by incorporating a moderate proportion of Se(x = 0.43). We have also discovered that the as-prepared TeSexnano-alloys have extraordinarily high NIR-II-photothermal conversion efficiency(77.2%),64Cu coordination and computed tomography contrast capabilities, enabling high-efficacy multimodal photothermal/photoacoustic/positron emission tomography/computed tomography imaging-guided NIR-II-photothermal therapy of cancer. The proposed nano-alloying strategy provides a new route to improve the biocompatibility of biomedical nanoplatforms and endow them with versatile theranostic functions.

在绘画中构图是一项至关重要的艺术技巧,良好的构图设计能够使画面更加生动,是一幅画作成败的决定性因素之一。中国传统的名画都具有精妙的构图(如于非闇的《白牡丹》),但如何精确评价画作的构图,传统评鉴方式主要依据评论家的直观感觉。运用鲁道夫·阿恩海姆的视知觉理论分析中国传统绘画,是一种可以借鉴的分析方法。通过视知觉理论分析于非闇《白牡丹》构图中的力的平衡,可以为花鸟画的构图在现代设计语境下提供新的审美路径。在此基础上,以江苏省美术馆“雁过留声”系列文创产品作为案例探析利用传统绘画如何进行创新设计。由此,融入视知觉理论的构图方式为传统中国画的赏析及推广提供了新的传播视角及方略。

A high-entropy spinel ceramic oxide as the cathode for proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cells

A high-entropy ceramic oxide is used as the cathode for the first time for proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cells(H-SOFCs).The Fe_(0.6)Mn_(0.6)Co_(0.6)Ni_(0.6)Cr_(0.6)O_(4)(FMCNC)high-entropy spinel oxide has been successfully prepared,and the in situ chemical stability test demonstrates that the FMCNC material has good stability against CO_(2).The first-principles calculation indicates that the high-entropy structure enhances the properties of the FMCNC material that surpasses their individual components,leading to lower O_(2)adsorption energy for FMCNC than that for the individual components.The HSOFC using the FMCNC cathode reaches an encouraging peak power density(PPD)of 1052 mW·cm^(-2)at 700℃,which is higher than those of the H-SOFCs reported recently.Additional comparison was made between the high-entropy FMCNC cathode and the traditional Mn_(1.6)Cu_(1.4)O_(4)(MCO)spinel cathode without the high-entropy structure,revealing that the formation of the high-entropy material allows the enhanced protonation ability as well as the movement of the O p-band center closer to the Fermi level,thus improving the cathode catalytic activity.As a result,the high-entropy FMCNC has a much-decreased polarization resistance of 0.057Ω·cm^(2)at 700℃,which is half of that for the traditional MCO spinel cathode without the high-entropy design.The excellent performance of the FMCNC cell indicates that the high-entropy design makes a new life for the spinel oxide as the cathode for HSOFCs,offering a novel and promising route for the development of high-performance materials for H-SOFCs.

Taking advantage of Li-evaporation in LiCoO_(2) as cathode for proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cells

LiCoO_(2),a widely used electrode material for Li-ion batteries,was found to be suitable as a cathode material for proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cells(H-SOFCs).Although the evaporation of Li in LiCoO_(2) was detrimental to the Li-ion battery performance,the Li-evaporation was found to be beneficial for the H-SOFCs.The partial evaporation of Li in the LiCoO_(2) material preparation procedure led to the in-situ formation of the LiCoO_(2)+Co_(3)O_(4) composite.Compared to the cell using the pure phase LiCoO_(2) cathode that only generated moderate fuel cell performance,the H-SOFCs using the LiCoO_(2)+Co_(3)O_(4) cathode showed a high fuel cell performance of 1160 mW·cm^(-2) at 700℃,suggesting that the formation of Co_(3)O_(4) was critical for enhancing the performance of the LiCoO_(2) cathode.The first-principles calculation gave insights into the performance improvements,indicating that the in-situ formation of Co_(3)O_(4) due to the Li-evaporation in LiCoO_(2) could dramatically decrease the formation energy of oxygen vacancies that is essential for the high cathode performance.The evaporation of Li in LiCoO_(2),which is regarded as a drawback for the Li-ion batteries,is demonstrated to be advantageous for the H-SOFCs,offering new selections of cathode candidates for the H-SOFCs.

目的比较质子调强和光子容积旋转调强在胰腺癌大分割放射治疗计划中的剂量学差异。方法回顾性选取10例胰腺癌患者临床资料,分别使用Eclipse和RayStation进行容积旋转调强治疗(VMAT)和质子调强治疗(IMPT)的计划设计。完成计划后的剂量文件统一导入MIM软件以提取评估参数。主要评估参数包括计划靶区(PTV)的D_(min)、D_(mean)、D_(max)、适形指数(CI)和新适形指数(nCI)、均匀指数(HI)、梯度指数(GI)、覆盖率(coverage)和危及器官的受照剂量。结果靶区方面两组的适形性差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),VMAT组取得了更高的PTV D_(min)、D_(max)、D98%、D2%、HI和覆盖率以及更优的剂量梯度GI和D2 cm(t/Z=-4.63~5.32,P0.05)。IMPT组在空回肠的体积剂量D_(5 cm^(3))、胃的D_(10 cm^(3))、十二指肠的D_(5 cm^(3))及D_(10 cm^(3))、左肾的D_(2/3)、右肾的D_(mean)及D_(2/3)上均低于VMAT组(t/Z=-8.12~-2.60,P<0.05),但是IMPT组脊髓的D_(max)和D_(0.35 cm^(3))均高于VMAT组(t=7.30、6.77,P<0.05)。结论VMAT和IMPT都能实现满足临床要求的胰腺癌大分割放射治疗计划。二者在在毗邻胰腺靶区的胃肠道组织最大受量上的保护无差异,在胃肠道的体积受量保护上IMPT拥有更大优势,但对射束肿瘤靶区前缘的危及器官保护上可能弱于VMAT。

A Model for Chinese Named Entity Recognition Based on Global Pointer and Adversarial Learning

To solve the problem that the Chinese named entity recognition(NER) models have poor antiinterference ability and inaccurate entity boundary recognition, this paper proposes the RGP-with-FGM model which is based on global pointer and adversarial learning.Firstly, the RoBERTa-WWM model is used to optimize the semantic representation of the text, and fast gradient method is used to add perturbation to the word embedding layer to enhance the robustness of the model. Then,BiG RU is used to focus on the timing information of Chinese characters to enhance the semantic connection.Finally, the global pointer is constructed in the decoding layer to obtain more accurate entity boundary recognition results. In order to verify the effectiveness of the model proposed in this paper, we construct Uyghur names dataset(UHND) to train the Chinese NER model, and perform extensive experiments with public Chinese NER data sets. Experimental results show that for UHND, the F1 value is 95.12%, which is 3.09% higher than that of the RoB ERTa-WWM-BiG RU-CRF model. For the Resume data set, the Precision and F1 value are 96.28% and 96.10%respectively.

Multi-feature-Based Subjective-Sentence Classification Method for Chinese Micro-blogs

The accurate classification of subjective and objective sentences is important in the preparation for micro-blog sentiment analysis. Since a single feature type cannot provide enough subjective information for classification, we propose a Support vector machine(SVM)-based classification model for Chinese micro-blogs using multiple features. We extracted the subjective features from the Part of speech(POS) and the dependency relationship between words, and constructed a 3-POS subjective pattern set and a dependency template set. We fused these two types of features and used an SVM-based model to classify Chinese micro-blog text. The experimental results showed that the performance of the classification model improved remarkably when using multiple features.

Study of Sentiment Classification for Chinese Microblog Based on Recurrent Neural Network

The sentiment classification of Chinese Microblog is a meaningful topic.Many studies has been done based on the methods of rule and word-bag,and to understand the structure information of a sentence will be the next target.We proposed a sentiment classification method based on Recurrent neural network(RNN).We adopted the technology of distributed word representation to construct a vector for each word in a sentence;then train sentence vectors with fixed dimension for different length sentences with RNN,so that the sentence vectors contain both word semantic features and word sequence features;at last use softmax regression classifier in the output layer to predict each sentence’s sentiment orientation.Experiment results revealed that our method can understand the structure information of negative sentence and double negative sentence and achieve better accuracy.The way of calculating sentence vector can help to learn the deep structure of sentence and will be valuable for different research area.

目的比较基于IMRT的混合调强计划(H-IMRT)与基于VMAT的混合容积调强计划(H-VMAT)在左侧乳腺癌根治术后(胸壁+锁骨上+内乳区)放射治疗计划的剂量学参数,为复杂的乳腺癌术后放疗计划设计提供一定的参考。方法选取我院2018年1月—2020年12月,20例左侧乳腺癌根治术后患者。所有患者胸壁、锁骨上淋巴结、内乳淋巴结均需要接受放射治疗,每个患者分别设计制作H-IMRT与H-VMAT两种放疗计划。CRT射野对胸廓方向进行2 cm的多叶准直器(MLC)外放。靶区处方剂量50 Gy,通过剂量计算比较靶区和危及器官的剂量参数。结果H-IMRT计划靶区均匀性指数为(0.13±0.06),适形指数为(1.33±0.08)。H-VMAT计划靶区均匀性指数为(0.12±0.04),适形指数为(1.24±0.07)。H-VMAT计划中靶区均匀性指数和适形指数均高于H-IMRT计划(P<0.05)。H-IMRT计划患肺V5(48.99±2.91)%、V20(24.5±1.1)%,H-VMAT计划患肺V5(45.87±3.53)%、V20(20.6±1.6)%,H-VMAT计划患肺V5和V20剂量均低于H-IMRT计划(P<0.05)。H-IMRT计划心脏V30(10.44±3.62)%、V40(6.59±3.53)%,H-VMAT计划心脏V30(5.87±1.53)%、V40(4.9±2.8)%,H-VMAT计划心脏V30和V40均低于H-IMRT计划(P<0.05)。H-IMRT计划心脏Dmean(7.43±1.78)Gy,H-VMAT计划心脏Dmean(9.7±0.7)Gy,H-VMAT计划略高于H-IMRT计划(P<0.05)。结论对于带有内乳淋巴结的乳腺癌术后放疗靶区,H-VMAT对比H-IMRT靶区适形度更好,危及器官受照剂量更低。
