Alzheimer's disease poses a significant global health challenge owing to the progressive cognitive decline of patients and absence of curative *** current therapeutic strategies,primarily based on cholinesterase inhibitors and N-methyl-Daspartate receptor antagonists,offer limited symptomatic relief without halting disease progression,highlighting an urgent need for novel research directions that address the key mechanisms underlying Alzheimer's *** studies have provided insights into the critical role of glycolysis,a fundamental energy metabolism pathway in the brain,in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's *** in glycolytic processes within neurons and glial cells,including microglia,astrocytes,and oligodendrocytes,have been identified as significant contributors to the pathological landscape of Alzheimer's *** changes impact neuronal health and function,thus offering promising targets for therapeutic *** purpose of this review is to consolidate current knowledge on the modifications in glycolysis associated with Alzheimer's disease and explore the mechanisms by which these abnormalities contribute to disease onset and *** focus on the pathways through which glycolytic dysfunction influences Alzheimer's disease pathology should provide insights into potential therapeutic targets and strategies that pave the way for groundbreaking treatments,emphasizing the importance of understanding metabolic processes in the quest for clarification and management of Alzheimer's disease.

Traditional proportional-integral-derivative(PID)controllers have achieved widespread success in industrial ***,the nonlinearity and uncertainty of practical systems cannot be ignored,even though most of the existing research on PID controllers is focused on linear ***,developing a PID controller with learning ability is of great significance for complex nonlinear *** article proposes a deterministic learning-based advanced PID controller for robot manipulator systems with *** introduction of neural networks(NNs)overcomes the upper limit of the traditional PID feedback mechanism’s *** proposed control scheme not only guarantees system stability and tracking error convergence but also provides a simple way to choose the three parameters of PID by setting the proportional *** the partial persistent excitation(PE)condition,the closed-loop system unknown dynamics of robot manipulator systems are accurately approximated by *** on the acquired knowledge from the stable control process,a learning PID controller is developed to further improve overall control performance,while overcoming the problem of repeated online weight *** studies and physical experiments demonstrate the validity and practicality of the proposed strategy discussed in this article.

Does Parental Migration Affect Left-Behind Children’s social Anxiety?A systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

social anxiety is a common psychological problem among left-behind children(LBC)and has been a popular issue in recent *** with higher levels of social anxiety have more emotional and behavioral problems and are prone to negative life *** several studies have explored the differences in social anxiety between LBC and non-left-behind children(N-LBC),the findings have not been *** this study,a systematic review and meta-analysis method was used,with 411 papers retrieved on October 01,2023,from Pubmed,Embase,Web of science,and Chinese databases(CNKI,VIP,and Wanfang)(PROsPERO registry number:CRD42023472463).Twenty-one studies met the research criteria and included 11,254 LBC and 13,096 *** scored significantly higher for social anxiety([WMD(95%CI):0.35[0.23,0.48],psocial avoidance and distress([WMD(95%CI):0.35[0.23,0.48],psubgroup analyses showed significant differences in effect sizes for the overall proportion of children left behind(p=0.02).In addition,different types of parental migration may influence the social anxiety of LBC,double-parent migration was associated higher social anxiety than father migration(psearch should focus on treatments to decrease social anxiety of left-behind *** findings suggest that due to the long-term absence of parental migration,LBC are more vulnerable to negative emotional experiences and behaviours such as anxiety,distress,and avoidance during social interaction,especially for those with both parents absent from the *** research should focus on treatments to reduce social anxiety in LBC.

The conversion of commercially available chiral sulfinamides into pharmaceutically useful chiral sulfoximines via direct sIVfunctionalization is synthetically attractive but challenging due to the competitive reaction of N-functionalization. Herein, we disclose a novel strain-release strategy to access stereospecific and chemoselective sIV-arylation and alkenylation of sulfinamides using arynes and strained cyclic alkynes. This method tolerates an unprecedented chemical diversity of functional groups attached to the nitrogen center(N-R). The origin of the high sIV-selectivity is elucidated by density functional theory calculations, suggesting a stepwise mechanism for the aryne substrates and a concerted mechanism for the cyclic alkynes.

Intelligent feedforward gust alleviation based on neural network

This paper proposes a neural network-based intelligent feedforward gust alleviation framework,which includes a neural network identification model and a neural network controller.A neural network training dataset is formed by collecting flight data and the gust data encountered during the aircraft flight.A neural network identification model is first trained to accurately predict the aircraft’s ***,based on the output of the identification model and the collected flight data,the parameters of the time-delay neural network controller are obtained through a learning *** simulation results show that the designed intelligent controller has good gust alleviation effects for both continuous turbulence excitation and discrete gust *** example,when the aircraft is 40000 kg and the flight speed is 0.81Ma,the controller achieves a 67.82%reduction in wingtip acceleration and a 35.90%reduction in center of mass acceleration under continuous turbulence *** considering the measurement uncertainties,such as noise existing in the collected data,the trained controller can still achieve an acceptable gust alleviation ***,considering a flight in which the aircraft mass is constantly changing,the intelligent controller,which continuously learns from new flight data,maintains a good gust alleviation effect throughout the flight.

The introduction of fresh air into the indoor space leads to a significant increase in cooling or heating *** desiccant heat pump fresh air unit which can handle the latent and sensible load of fresh air efficiently have been proposed *** improve the performance of the solid desiccant heat pump fresh air unit in the fresh air handling process,in this paper,the application of composite silica gel in a heat pump fresh air unit was *** comparison between silica gel coating(sGC)and composite silica gel coating(CsGC)shows that the adsorption rate and water uptake capacity of CsGC are more than two times higher than those of *** experimental setup for the solid desiccant heat pump fresh air unit was *** performance of sGC and CsGC was tested in the setup *** show that under summer conditions,compared with the solid desiccant heat pump fresh air unit using silica gel(sGFU),the average moisture removal and COP of the one using composite silica gel(CsGFU)increased by 15%and 30%,*** winter conditions,compared with sGFU,the average humidification and COP of CsGFU increased by 42%and 17%.With optimal operation conditions of 3 min switchover time and 40 r/s compressor frequency,the COP of CsGFU under summer conditions can reach *** also show that the CsGFU and sGFU have higher COP and dehumidification rate under higher outdoor temperature and humidity ratio.

stochastic computing(sC)has a substantial amount of study on application-specific integrated circuit(AsIC)design for artificial intelligence(AI)edge computing,especially the convolutional neural network(CNN)***,sC has little to no optimization on field-programmable gate array(FPGA).scaling up the AsIC logic without FPGA-oriented designs is inefficient,while aggregating thousands of bitstreams is still challenging in the conventional *** research has reinvented several FPGA-efficient 8-bit sC CNN computing architectures,i.e.,sC multiplexer multiply-accumulate,multiply-accumulate function generator,and binary rectified linear unit,and successfully scaled and implemented a fully parallel CNN model on Kintex7 *** proposed sC hardware only compromises 0.14%accuracy compared to binary computing on the handwriting Modified National Institute of standards and Technology classification task and achieved at least 99.72%energy saving per image feedforward and 31?more data throughput than modern *** to sC,early decision termination pushed the performance baseline exponentially with minimum accuracy loss,making sC CNN extremely lucrative for AI edge computing but limited to classification *** sC's inherent noise heavily penalizes CNN regression performance,rendering sC unsuitable for regression tasks.
