The correlation between Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)infection and nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)risk has been extensively *** continual monitoring of EBV-IgAs provides a promising approach of NPC screening in its early *** this study,we successfully synthesized a single-atom nanozyme(SANzyme)through the application of iron-porphyrin based metal organic framework(MOF-FeP).The MOF-FeP possesses precisely-defined electronic and geometric structures that accurately mimic highly-evolved catalytic site of natural *** peroxidase-like activity of MOF-FeP enables it to catalyze the chemiluminescence of luminol *** integrating MOF-FeP into a traditional strip,we created a rapid and highly-sensitive evaluation tool for detecting ***,the MOF-FeP strip enables the simultaneous detection of three EBV-IgAs,greatly improving the accuracy of EBV-associated NPC *** sensitivities of the MOF-FeP strip(75.56%–93.30%)surpass those of current enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)methods(64.44%–82.22%).This test takes only 16 min to perform as opposed to the customary 1–2 h required for standard ***,the MOF-FeP strip is suitable for whole blood samples,thereby significantly simplifying the sample preparation and detection *** conclusion,the MOF-FeP strip combines the simplicity of traditional strip with the high catalytic activity of *** innovative MOF-FeP strip offers a new point-of-care strategy for EBV-IgAs detection,which is expected to markedly facilitate early screening for EBV-associated diseases.

A Test of U-type for Goodness-of-fit in Regression Models Through Martingale Difference Divergence

Based on the martingale difference divergence,a recently proposed metric for quantifying conditional mean dependence,we introduce a consistent test of U-type for the goodness-of-fit of linear models under conditional mean ***,our test allows heteroscedastic regression models without imposing any condition on the distribution of the error,utilizes effectively important information contained in the distance of the vector of covariates,has a simple form,is easy to implement,and is free of the subjective choice of ***,our mathematical analysis is of own interest since it does not take advantage of the empirical process theory and provides some insights on the asymptotic behavior of U-statistic in the framework of model *** asymptotic null distribution of the proposed test statistic is derived and its asymptotic power behavior against fixed alternatives and local alternatives converging to the null at the parametric rate is also *** particular,we show that its asymptotic null distribution is very different from that obtained for the true error and their differences are interestingly related to the form expression for the estimated parameter vector embodied in regression function and a martingale difference divergence *** the asymptotic null distribution of the test statistic depends on data generating process,we propose a wild bootstrap scheme to approximate its null *** consistency of the bootstrap scheme is *** studies are undertaken to show the good performance of the new test.

Perchlorate and chlorate are present in various extraterrestrial celestial bodies throughout the solar system,such as Mars,the moon,and *** date,the origin mechanisms of perchlorate and chlorate on the Martian surface have been well-established;however,relatively little attention has been cast to airless ***,we experimentally investigated the potential oxidation mechanisms of chloride to chlorate and perchlorate,such as ultraviolet irradiation under H_(2)O-and O_(2)-free conditions and mechanical pulverization *** minerals,olivine,pyroxene,ilmenite,magnetite,TiO_(2)and anhydrous ferric sulfate,and lunar regolith simulants(low Ti,CLRS-1;high-Ti,CLRS-2)and their metallic iron(Fe^( 0))bearing counterparts were *** found that pulverization of dry matrix material-halite mixtures,even in the presence of O_(2),does not necessarily lead to perchlorate and chlorate formation without involving *** photocatalytic and H_(2)O and O_(2)-free conditions,olivine and pyroxene can produce oxychlorine(ClO_(x)^(−))species,although the yields were orders of magnitude lower than those under Martian-relevant ***-Fe^(0)particles in the lunar regolith and the common photocatalyst TiO_(2)can facilitate the ClO_(x)^(−)formation,but their yields were lower than those with *** oxides ilmenite and magnetite did not efficiently contribute to ClO_(x)^(−)*** results highlight the critical role of H_(2)O in the oxidation chloride to chlorate and perchlorate,and provide essential insights into the environmental influence on the formation of oxychlorine species on different celestial bodies.

Identification and anatomy of oceanic arcs within ancient orogenic belt are significant for better understanding the tectonic framework and closure process of paleo-ocean *** article summarizes the geological,geochemical,and geochronological characteristics of upper crust of Proto-Tethyan Lajishan intra-oceanic arc and provides new data to constrain the subduction evolution of the South Qilian *** intra-oceanic arc volcanic rocks,including intermediate-mafic lava,breccia,tuff,and minor felsic rocks,are distributed along southern part of the Lajishan ophiolite *** and isotopic compositions indicate that the intermediate-mafic lava were originated from depleted mantle contaminated by sediment melts or hydrous fluids,whereas the felsic rocks were likely generated by partial melting of juvenile mafic crust in intra-oceanic arc *** from felsic rocks yield consistent and concordant ages ranging from 506 to 523 Ma,suggesting these volcanic rocks represent the relicts of upper crust of the Cambrian intra-oceanic *** with the Cambrian forearc ophiolite and accretionary complex,we suggest that the Cambrian intra-oceanic arc in the Lajishan ophiolite belt is belonging to the intra-oceanic arc system which was generated by south-directed subduction in the South Qilian Ocean at a relatively short interval between approximately 530 and 480 Ma.

Cellular hormone homeostasis is essential for precise spatial and temporal signaling responses and *** acid(ABA)plays pivotal roles in orchestrating various developmental and stress re-sponses and confersfitness benefits over ecological and evolutionary timescales in terrestrial *** ABA level is regulated by complex processes,including biosynthesis,catabolism,and ***25 is thefirst ABA exporter identified through genetic screening and affects diverse ABA *** the structural basis of ABA export by ABCG25 is critical for further manipulations of ABA homeostasis and *** used cryo-electron microscopy to elucidate the structural dynamics of AtABCG25 and successfully characterized different states,including apo AtABCG25,ABA-bound AtABCG25,and ATP-bound AtABCG25(E232Q).Notably,AtABCG25 forms a homodimer that fea-tures a deep,slit-like cavity in the transmembrane domain,and we precisely characterized the critical residues in the cavity where ABA *** binding triggers closure of the nucleotide-binding domains and conformational transitions in the transmembrane *** show that AtABCG25 belongs to a conserved ABCG subfamily that originated during the evolution of *** subfamily neofunctionalized to regulate seed germination via the endosperm,in concert with the evolution of this angio-sperm-specific,embryo-nourishing ***,thesefindings provide valuable insights into the intricate substrate recognition and transport mechanisms of the ABA exporter AtABCG25,paving the way for genetic manipulation of ABA homeostasis and plantfitness.

Mechanisms of tumor immunosuppressive microenvironment formation in esophageal cancer

As a highly invasive malignancy,esophageal cancer(EC)is a global health issue,and was the eighth most prevalent cancer and the sixth leading cause of cancerrelated death worldwide in *** to its highly immunogenic nature,emerging immunotherapy approaches,such as immune checkpoint blockade,have demonstrated promising efficacy in treating EC;however,certain limitations and challenges still *** addition,tumors may exhibit primary or acquired resistance to immunotherapy in the tumor immune microenvironment(TIME);thus,understanding the TIME is urgent and crucial,especially given the importance of an immunosuppressive microenvironment in tumor *** aim of this review was to better elucidate the mechanisms of the suppressive TIME,including cell infiltration,immune cell subsets,cytokines and signaling pathways in the tumor microenvironment of EC patients,as well as the downregulated expression of major histocompatibility complex molecules in tumor cells,to obtain a better understanding of the differences in EC patient responses to immunotherapeutic strategies and accurately predict the efficacy of ***,personalized treatments could be developed to maximize the advantages of immunotherapy.

UDP-glucosyltransferase 71C4 controls the flux of phenylpropanoid metabolism to shape cotton seed development

Seeds play a crucial role in plant reproduction,making it essential to identify genes that affect seed devel*** this study,we focused on UDP-glucosyltransferase 71C4(UGT71C4)in cotton,a member of the glycosyltransferase family that shapes seed width and length,thereby influencing seed index and seed cotton *** of UGT71C4 results in seed enlargement owing to its glycosyltransferase activity on flavonoids,which redirects metabolic flux from lignin to flavonoid *** shift promotes cell proliferation in the ovule via accumulation of flavonoid glycosides,significantly enhancing seed cotton yield and increasing the seed index from 10.66 g to 11.91 *** contrast,knockout of UGT71C4 leads to smaller seeds through activation of the lignin metabolism pathway and redirection of metabolic flux back to lignin *** redirection leads to increased ectopic lignin deposition in the ovule,inhibiting ovule growth and development,and alters yield components,increasing the lint percentage from 41.42%to 43.40%and reducing the seed index from 10.66 g to 8.60 *** research sheds new light on seed size development and reveals potential pathways for enhancing seed yield.

Remaining useful life(RUL)prediction for bearing is a significant part of the maintenance of urban rail transit *** RUL is closely linked to the reliability and safety of train running,but the current prediction accuracy makes it difficult to meet the re-quirements of high reliability *** at the problem,a prediction model based on an improved long short-term memory(ILSTM)network is ***,the variational mode decomposition is used to process the signal,the intrinsic mode function with stronger representation ability is determined according to energy entropy and the degradation feature data is constructed com-bined with the time domain ***,to improve learning ability,a rectified linear unit(ReLU)is applied to activate a fully connected layer lying after the long short-term memory(LSTM)network,and the hidden state outputs of the layer are weighted by attention *** Harris Hawks optimization algorithm is introduced to adaptively set the hyperparameters to improve the performance of the ***,the ILSTM is applied to predict bearing *** experimental cases,the better perfor-mance in bearing RUL prediction and the effectiveness of each improving measures of the model are validated,and its superiority of hyperparameters setting is demonstrated.
