Nanodiamond/Ti3C2 MXene-coated quartz crystal microbalance humidity sensor with high sensitivity and high quality factor

To address the challenge of achieving both high sensitivity and a high quality factor in quartz crystal microbalance（QCM） humidity sensors,a nanodiamond（ND）/Ti3C2MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was fabricated.The material characteristics of ND,Ti3C2MXene,and ND/Ti3C2MXene composite were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy（TEM） and Fourier transform infrared（FTIR） spectroscopy.The experimental results demonstrated that the hydrophilic ND nanoparticles coated on Ti3C2MXene nanosheet prevented the self-stacking of Ti3C2MXene and enhanced the sensitivity of Ti3C2MXene-based QCM humidity sensor.Moreover,the high mechanical modulus of Ti3C2MXene material helped ND/Ti3C2MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor to achieve a high quality factor（> 20,000）.ND/Ti3C2MXene compositecoated QCM humidity sensor exhibited a sensitivity of 82.45 Hz/%RH,a humidity hysteresis of 1.1 %RH,fast response/recovery times,acceptable repeatability,and good stability from 11.3%RH to 97.3%RH.The response mechanism of ND/Ti3C2MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was analyzed in combination with a bi-exponential kinetic adsorption model.Finally,the potential application of ND/Ti3C2MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was demonstrated through its frequency response to wooden blocks with different moisture contents.

Objective To evaluate the differences in 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure (BP) in older patients with hypertension treated with the five major classes of antihypertensive drugs,as monotherapy or dual combination therapy,to improve daytime and nighttime BP control. Methods We enrolled 1920 Chinese community-dwelling outpatients aged ≥ 60 years and compared ambulatory BP values and ambulatory BP control (24-hour BP lities of having a nighttime dip pattern and nighttime BP control were higher in patients receiving diuretics compared with CCBs (OR = 0.52,P = 0.05 and OR = 0.41,P = 0.007,respectively). Patients receiving RAS/diuretic combination therapy had a higher probability of having controlled nighttime BP compared with those receiving RAS/CCB (OR = 0.45,P = 0.004). Compared with RAS/diuretic therapy,BB/CCB therapy had a higher probability of achieving daytime BP control (OR = 1.27,P = 0.45). Conclusions Antihypertensive monotherapy and dual combination drug therapy provided different ambulatory BP control and nighttime BP dip patterns. BB-based regimens provided lower daytime BP,whereas diuretic-based therapies provided lower nighttime BP,compared with other antihypertensive regimens.

风扇/增压级气动声学试验器是大涵道比涡扇风扇部件进行前传远场噪声特性评估、后传噪声特性评估、管道声模态特性评估、主/被动降噪措施验证等声学性能以及均匀流场气动性能测试的重要试验平台,在大涵道比发动机研制过程中发挥重要的作用。针对中国首个以适航噪声评估为主要目标的风扇/增压级气动声学试验器,介绍了其关键组成部分湍流控制屏和进气消声室的结构,进行了试验器功能验证和消声室声学性能鉴定。结果表明:消声室尖劈截止频率为125 Hz,在40 kHz的高频条件下,消声室满足自由场传播条件的区域达到22 m,消声室内设备空载运行时噪声低于45 dBA,在全转速范围内试验件及设备运行状态良好,其振动幅值均低于报警限制值,该试验器的各项性能指标均满足设计要求。该试验器已经完成了多项风扇/增压级部件声学及气动性能试验工作,具备相对成熟的风扇/增压级气动与声学性能试验测试技术能力。

Background Children as a population have high antimicrobial prescribing rates which may lead to high resistance of bacteria according to data from some single-center surveys of antibiotic prescribing rates in China. The acquirement of baseline data of antibiotic prescribing is the basis of developing intervention strategies on inappropriate antimicrobial prescriptions. Few studies show clearly the pattern and detailed information on classes of antibiotics and distribution of indications of antibiotic prescriptions in children in China. This study aims to assess the antibiotic prescribing patterns among children and neonates hospitalized in 18 hospitals in China. Methods A 24-hour point prevalence survey on antimicrobial prescribing was conducted in hospitalized neonates and chil-dren in China from December 1st, 2016 to February 28th, 2017. Information on the antibiotic use of patients under 18 years of age who were administered one or more on-going antibiotics in the selected wards over a 24-hour period was collected. These data were submitted to the GARPEC (Global Antimicrobial Resistance, Prescribing and Efficacy in Children and Neonates) web-based application ( https ://pidrg -datab ase.***.ac.uk/redca p/ ). For statistical analysis, Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS 22.0 were used. Results The antibiotic data were collected in 35 wards in 18 hospitals from 9 provinces. In total, 67.76% (975/1439) of the patients (n = 1439) were given at least one antibiotic, including 58.1% (173/298) of neonates (n = 298) and 70.3% (802/1141) of children (n = 1141). In neonates, the three most frequently prescribed antibiotics were third-generation cephalosporins (41.7%), penicillins plus enzyme inhibitor (23.8%), and carbapenems (11.2%). In children, the three most frequently pre-scribed antibiotics were third-generation cephalosporins (35.5%), macrolides (23.2%), and penicillins plus enzyme inhibi-tors (15.9%). Short-term memory of danger signals or environmental stimuli in mesenchymal stem cells： implications for therapeutic potential

Mesenchymal stem/stromal cells （MSCs） possess some characteristics of immune cells, including a pro-inflammatory phenotype, an immunosuppressive phenotype, antibacterial properties and the expression of Toll-like receptor proteins. Here we show that, similar to immune cells, MSCs retain information from danger signals or environmental stimuli for a period of time. When treated with the pro-inflammatory factors lipopolysaccharide （LPS） or tumor necrosis factor-a （TNF-a）, MSCs display increased expression of IL-6, IL-8 and MCP-1. Following re-plating and several rounds of cell division in the absence of stimulating factors, the expression of IL-6, IL-8 and MCP-1 remained higher than in untreated cells for over 7 days. A spike in cytokine secretion occurred when cells were exposed to a second round of stimulation. We primed MSCs with LPS and LPS-primed MSCs had better therapeutic efficacy at promoting skin flap survival in a diabetic rat model than did unprimed MSCs. Finally, we found that several microRNAs, including miR146a, miR150 and miR155, along with the modification of DNA by 5-hydroxymethylcytosine （5hmC）, mediate the MSC response to LPS and TNF-e stimulation. Collectively, our data suggest that MSCs have a short-term memory of environmental signals, which may impact their therapeutic potential.

Titanium dioxide is considered to be promising anode for sodium-ion batteries due to stable structure during the charge/discharge process.However,its practical application is hindered by the slow electron/ion transport.Herein,phosphorus-doped anatase TiO_(2) nanoparticles with oxygen vacancies are successfully synthesized and utilized as high-performance sodium-storage materials.The dual strategy of phosphorus-doping and oxygen vacancies can concurrently boost electronic conductivity and adjust ion diffusion kinetics.They significantly contribute to the improved rate performance(167 mAh·g^(-1) at 20.0C)and stable cycling(95.9%after 2000 cycles at 20.0C).The proposed dual strategy can be potentially used to improve other oxide anodes for rechargeable batteries.

Robust Regularization Design of Graph Neural Networks Against Adversarial Attacks Based on Lyapunov Theory

The robustness of graph neural networks（GNNs） is a critical research topic in deep learning.Many researchers have designed regularization methods to enhance the robustness of neural networks,but there is a lack of theoretical analysis on the principle of robustness.In order to tackle the weakness of current robustness designing methods,this paper gives new insights into how to guarantee the robustness of GNNs.A novel regularization strategy named Lya-Reg is designed to guarantee the robustness of GNNs by Lyapunov theory.Our results give new insights into how regularization can mitigate the various adversarial effects on different graph signals.Extensive experiments on various public datasets demonstrate that the proposed regularization method is more robust than the state-of-theart methods such as L1-norm,L2-norm,L2-norm,Pro-GNN,PA-GNN and GARNET against various types of graph adversarial attacks.

Effect of short neuropeptide F signaling on larval feeding in Mythimna separata

Mythimna separata is a notorious phytophagous pest which poses serious threats to cereal crops owing to the gluttony of the larvae.Because short neuropeptide F(sNPF)and its receptor sNPFR are involved in a diversity of physiological functions,especially in functions related to feeding in insects,it is a molecular target for pest control.Herein,an sNPF and 2 sNPFRs were identified and cloned from M.separata.Bioinformatics analysis revealed that the sNPF and its receptors had a highly conserved RLRFamide C-terminus and 7 transmembrane domains,respectively.The sNPF and its receptor genes were distributed across larval periods and tissues,but 2 receptors had distinct expression patterns.The starvation-induced assay elucidated that sNPF and sNPFR expression levels were downregulated under food deprivation and recovered with subsequent re-feeding.RNA interference knockdown of sNPF,sNPFR1,and sNPFR2 by injection of double-stranded RNA into larvae not only suppressed food consumption and increased body size and weight,but also led to decrease of glycogen and total lipid contents,and increase of trehalose compared with double-stranded green fluorescent protein injection.Furthermore,molecular docking was performed on the interaction mode between sNPFR protein and its ligand sNPF based on the 3-dimensional models constructed by AlphaFold;the results indicated that both receptors were presumably activated by the mature peptide sNPF-2.These results revealed that sNPF signaling played a considerably vital role in the feeding regulation of M.separata and represents a potential control target for this pest.

Inetetamab combined with tegafur as second-line treatment for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2-positive gastric cancer: A case report

BACKGROUND Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER-2)plays a vital role in tumor cell proliferation and metastasis.However,the prognosis of HER2-positive gastric cancer is poor.Inetetamab,a novel anti-HER2 targeting drug independently developed in China,exhibits more potent antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity than trastuzumab,which is administered as the first-line treatment for HER2-positive gastric cancer in combination with chemotherapy.In this case,the efficacy and safety of inetetamab combined with tegafur was investigated as a second-line treatment for HER2-positive gastric cancer.CASE SUMMARY A 52-year-old male patient with HER2-positive gastric cancer presented with abdominal distension,poor appetite,and fatigue two years after receiving six cycles of oxaliplatin combined with tegafur as first-line treatment after surgery,followed by tegafur monotherapy for six months.The patient was diagnosed with postoperative recurrence of gastric adenocarcinoma.He received 17 cycles of a combination of inetetamab,an innovative domestically developed anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody,and tegafur chemotherapy as the second-line treatment(inetetamab 200 mg on day 1,every 3 wk combined with tegafur twice daily on days 1–14,every 3 wk).Evaluation of the efficacy of the second-line treatment revealed that the patient achieved a stable condition and progression-free survival of 17 months.He tolerated the treatment well without exhibiting any grade 3-4 adverse events.CONCLUSION Inetetamab combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of metastatic HER2-positive gastric cancer demonstrates significant survival benefits and acceptable safety.

Comparative studies on Fenton-like reactions catalyzed by Fe_(3)O_(4) loaded inside and outside halloysite nanotubes for the removal of organic pollutants

In this work,Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles(NPs)loaded inside and outside halloysite nanotubes(HNTs)were prepared and developed as the heterogeneous Fenton-like catalysts for the removal of representative organic pollutants.Characterization results indicated that the samples with Fe_(3)O_(4) NPs loaded outside the HNTs lumen(Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs)and inside the HNTs lumen(Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs)were successfully prepared.Both samples had typical magnetic hysteresis loops,while Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs exhibited higher magnetization intensity.The comparative experiments showed that Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs had better Fenton-like catalytic ability than that of Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs in the degradation of various organic pollutants.Taking Rhodamine B(RhB)as an example,the adsorption thermodynamics and kinetics of RhB onto Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs and Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs were also investigated.The comparative results demonstrated that the adsorption ability of Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs was better than that of Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs.Moreover,the dissolved concentration of Fe^(2+)and production amount of hydroxyl radical(·OH)in the Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs-H_(2)O_(2) system were significantly higher than those in the Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs-H_(2)O_(2) system.Based on aforementioned comparison,the nano-confinement effect in the Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs-H_(2)O_(2) system was verified.This work provides meaningful guidance for the cheap and convenient design of nanoreactors for Fenton-like applications.
