Due to its simplicity, high efficiency, and chemo-selectivity, bioorthogonal chemistry has shown a great application potential in ***, four bioorthogonal pairs as targeting tools, including (strept)avidin/biotin, antibody/antigen, oligonucleotide hybridization and IEDDA tools, have been developed and applied in targeted ***, all of these tools still suffer from some limitations, such as difficult modification, biochemical fragility and larger molecular weight for biological association tools, as well as chemical instability for IEDDA *** host-guest pairs with relatively small molecular sizes not only possess strong chemical stability, but also have the features of fast conjugation rate, tunable binding affinity , easy modification, and high ***, they can be used as a novel non-covalent bioorthogonal tool for *** order to further promote the development of host-guest pairs as novel bioorthogonal tools for pre-targeted delivery, we firstly calculate their conversion rate to make researcher aware of their unique advantages;next, we summarize the recent research progress in this *** future perspectives and limitations of these unique tools will be *** review will provide a systemic overview of the development of synthetic host-guest pairs as novel bioorthogonal tools for pre-targeting, and may serve as a “go for” resort for researchers who are interested in searching for new synthetic tools to improve pre-targeting.

Bioconjugation methods offer very important tools in studying biological *** host-guest pairs provide an alternative and complementary conjugation method to bioorthogonal reactions and biological association ***,macrocyclic hosts that can be used for in situ capture are limited and often rely on extremely high binding ***,we report an alternative bioorthogonal host-guest pair that relies on highly selective molecular recognition in *** host,namely amide naphthotube,possesses a biomimetic cavity with inward-directing hydrogen bonding sites and shows selective and strong binding to the guest(2-phenyl pyrimidine)even in biological *** anchoring the tetraphenyl ethylene-modi fied hosts to cell surfaces,the bioorthogonal host-guest pair can be applied in cell surface recognition,cell-cell interactions,and tissue imaging in *** bioorthogonality is originated from the high binding selectivity of the biomimetic macrocyclic host,which is different from other known host-guest pairs that have been applied in biological *** research provides a new noncovalent bioconjugation tool and a new concept for designing bioorthogonal host-guest pairs for biological applications.

Aerosol hygroscopicity and liquid water content(ALWC)have important influences on the environmental and climate effect of *** this study,we measured the hygroscopic growth factors(GF)of particles with dry diameters of 40,80,150,and 200 nm during the wintertime in *** the GF-derived hygroscopicity parameter(κ_(gf))and ALWC increased with particle size,but displayed differing diurnal variations,withκ_(gf)peaking around the midday,while ALWC peaking in the early ***,ammonium and oxygenated organic aerosols(OOA)were found as the chemical components mostly strongly correlated with ALWC.A closure study suggests that during midday photo-oxidation and nighttime high ALWC periods,theκof organic aerosols(κ_(org))was underestimated when using previous ***,we re-constructed parameterizations forκ_(org)and the oxidation level of organics for these periods,which indicates a higher hygroscopicity of photochemically formed OOA than the aqueous OOA,yet both being much higher than the generally assumed OOA ***,in a typical high ALWC episode,concurrently increased ALWC,nitrate,OOA as well as aerosol surface area and mass concentrations were observed under elevated ambient *** strongly indicates a coupled effect that the hygroscopic secondary aerosols,in particular nitratewith strong hygroscopicity,led to large increase in ALWC,which in turn synergistically boosted nitrate and OOA formation by heterogeneous/aqueous *** interaction may represent an important mechanism contributing to enhanced formation of secondary aerosols and rapid growth of fine particulate matter under relatively high RH conditions.

The effect of rolling schedules on the ridging resistance of ultra-thin ferritic stainless steel(FSS)430 foil was evaluated by studying the microstructure and *** results show that specimens processed with three-pass cold rolling under the reductions of 40%,40%and 31%,respectively,exhibit improved ridging resistance owing to the microstructural refinement and the texture structure optimization.A nearly 40%reduction of ridging height can be achieved using the proposed rolling schedule compared to the other two rolling *** addition,the effect of annealing temperature after cold rolling on the ridging resistance of FSS 430 foil is also found to be crucial,and an optimal annealing temperature of 900℃ is obtained for FSS 430 foil with high ridging ***,the improvement in the ridging resistance of FSS 430 foil can be attributed to the reduction in the fraction of{001}and{114}components by optimization of the rolling and annealing processes.

Zinc oxide(ZnO)serves as a crucial functional semiconductor with a wide direct bandgap of approximately 3.37 *** reaction is commonly used in the synthesis of ZnO micro/nanostructures,given its low cost,simplicity,and easy ***,ZnO morphology engineering has become desirable through the alteration of minor conditions in the reaction process,particularly at room *** this work,ZnO micro/nanostructures were synthesized in a solution by varying the amounts of the ammonia added at low temperatures(including room temperature).The formation of Zn^(2+)complexes by ammonia in the precursor regulated the reaction rate of the morphology engineering of ZnO,which resulted in various structures,such as nanoparticles,nanosheets,microflowers,and single ***,the obtained ZnO was used in the optoelectronic application of ultraviolet detectors.

Molecular recognition in water is the basis of numerous biological *** key for efficient and selective recognition of an organic drug molecule is to bind both its polar and nonpolar *** is achieved by bioreceptors for which specific noncovalent interactions are efficiently used in a hydrophobic *** contrast,most synthetic receptors cannot efficiently bind the neutral,polar groups of drug molecules and,thus,often exhibit poor binding selectivity and *** this research,we report a systematic study on the binding behaviors of three types of macrocyclic hosts(amide naphthotubes,cucurbit[7]uril,andβ-cyclodextrin)to 18 model compounds and 13 drug *** results show that the high desolvation penalty of polar groups of guests is the reason for the relatively low binding affinity of cucurbit[7]uril andβ-***,amide naphthotubes with a biomimetic cavity bind efficiently and selectively to organic guests through hydrophobic effects and hydrogen *** molecules with multiple polar groups can be better accommodated by these *** anti-configured naphthotube show good biocompatibility according to preliminary cell experiments and is capable of enhancing the water solubility of two poorly soluble drug ***,they may have practical applications in pharmaceutical sciences.

Background： The aim of this research was to evaluate long-term pulmonary sequelae on paired inspiration-expiration thin-section computed tomograpby （CT） scans 3 years after influenza A （H 1 N1 ） virus-associated pneumonia, and to analyze the affecting factors on pulmonary fibrosis. Methods： Twenty-four patients hospitalized with H 1N 1 virus-associated pneumonia at our hospital between September 2009 and January 2010 were included. The patients underwent thin-section CT 3 years after recovery. Abnonnal pulmonary lesion pattems （ground-glass opacity, consolidation, parenchymal bands, air trapping, and reticulation） and evidence of fibrosis （architectural distortion, traction bronchiectasis, or honeycombing） were evaluated on follow-up thin-section CT. Patients were assigned to Group 1 （with CT evidence of fibrosis） and Group 2 （without CT evidence of fibrosis）. Demographics, rate of mechanical ventilation therapy, rate of intensive care unit admission, cumulative prednisolone-equivalent dose, laboratory tests results （maximum levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate transaminase [AST], lactate dehydrogenase [LDH], and creatine kinase [CK]）, and peak radiographic opacification of 24 patients during the course of their illness in the hospital were compared between two groups. Results： Parenchymal abnormality was present in 17 of 24 （70.8%） patients and fibrosis occurred in 10 of 24 （41.7%） patients. Patients in Group 1 （ 10/24; 41.7%） had a higher rate of mechanical ventilation therapy （Z- -2.340, P- 0.019）, higher number of doses of cumulative prednisolone-equivalent （Z = -2.579, P = 0.010）, higher maximum level of laboratory tests results （AST [Z = -2.140, P = 0.032], LDH [Z = -3.227, P = 0.001 ], and CK [Z= -3.345, P = 0.019]）, and higher peak opacification on chest radiographs （Z- -2.743, P = 0.006） than patients in group 2 （14/24; 58.3%）.
