BmATAD3A mediates mitochondrial ribosomal protein expression to maintain the mitochondrial energy metabolism of the silkworm, Bombyx mori

ATAD3A is a mitochondrial membrane protein belonging to the ATPase family that contains the AAA+ domain. It is widely involved in mitochondrial metabolism, protein transport, cell growth, development and other important life processes. It has previously been reported that the deletion of ATAD3A causes growth and development defects in humans, mice and Caenorhabditis elegans. To delve into the mechanism underlying ATAD3A defects and their impact on development, we constructed a Bombyx mori ATAD3A (BmATAD3A) defect model in silkworm larvae. We aim to offer a reference for understanding ATAD3A genetic defects and elucidating the molecular regulatory mechanisms. The results showed that knockout of the BmATAD3A gene significantly affected the weight, survival rate, ATPase production and mitochondrial metabolism of individuals after 24 h of incubation. Combined metabolomics and transcriptomics analysis further demonstrated that BmATAD3A knockout inhibits amino acid biosynthesis through the regulation of mitochondrial ribosomal protein expression. Simultaneously, our findings indicate that BmATAD3A knockout impeded mitochondrial activity and ATPase synthesis and suppressed the mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation pathway through B. mori mitochondrial ribosomal protein L11 (BmmRpL11). These results provide novel insights into the molecular mechanisms involved in the inhibition of development caused by ATAD3A deficiency, offering a potential direction for targeted therapy in diseases associated with abnormal ATAD3A expression.

Independent and interactive effects of N and P additions on foliar P fractions in evergreen forests of southern China

Fertilization or atmospheric deposition of nitrogen(N) and phosphorus(P) to terrestrial ecosystems can alter soil N(P) availability and the nature of nutrient limitation for plant growth. Changing the allocation of leaf P fractions is potentially an adaptive strategy for plants to cope with soil N(P) availability and nutrient-limiting ***, the impact of the interactions between imbalanced anthropogenic N and P inputs on the concentrations and allocation proportions of leaf P fractions in forest woody plants remains elusive. We conducted a metaanalysis of data about the concentrations and allocation proportions of leaf P fractions, specifically associated with individual and combined additions of N and P in evergreen forests, the dominant vegetation type in southern China where the primary productivity is usually considered limited by P. This assessment allowed us to quantitatively evaluate the effects of N and P additions alone and interactively on leaf P allocation and use *** addition(exacerbating P limitation) reduced the concentrations of leaf total P and different leaf P fractions. Nitrogen addition reduced the allocation to leaf metabolic P but increased the allocation to other fractions, while P addition showed opposite trends. The simultaneous additions of N and P showed an antagonistic(mutual suppression) effect on the concentrations of leaf P fractions, but an additive(summary) effect on the allocation proportions of leaf P fractions. These results highlight the importance of strategies of leaf P fraction allocation in forest plants under changes in environmental nutrient availability. Importantly, our study identified critical interactions associated with combined N and P inputs that affect leaf P fractions, thus aiding in predicting plant acclimation strategies in the context of intensifying and imbalanced anthropogenic nutrient inputs.

Impact of community public health care on treatment effect,health cognition,and self-management in patients with type 2 diabetes

Effect of tandem autologous stem cell transplantation on survival in pediatric patients with high-risk solid tumors in South China

急性胰腺炎是外科常见的急腹症,其发展过程中往往伴随着严重的局部或全身并发症。胆道系统疾病是急性胰腺炎严重的局部并发症之一,主要包括急性非结石性胆囊炎和胆管狭窄。急性非结石性胆囊炎常发生在急性胰腺炎的病程后期,会加重患者全身炎症反应,严重时可导致器官功能衰竭等,危及生命。胆管狭窄是急性胰腺炎少见的远期严重并发症,可诱发胆管炎、进行性肝功能损害和继发性胆汁性肝硬化等严重并发症。由于急性胰腺炎的临床症状可掩盖其他症状,部分发病期间并发胆道系统疾病的患者未能得到及时诊治,严重时可危及患者生命。目前,针对急性胰腺炎继发胆道系统并发症的理想治疗策略尚不明确,缺乏具有指导意义的指南或共识。本文结合近年来国内外相关研究进展,对急性胰腺炎并发胆道系统疾病的发病机制、诊断及治疗策略进行阐述。

活动星系核(active galactic nuclei,AGN)盘中的白矮星(white dwarf,WD)很可能会迁移到内区,并形成由两白矮星与中心超大质量黑洞(supermassive black hole,SMBH)组成的限制性三体系统.多体模拟发现该三体系统通常是不稳定的,会导致两白矮星在近遇(close encounter)过程中相撞.该事件率可达300 Gpc^(-3)yr^(-1),相当于观测到的Ia型超新星的1%.白矮星相撞会引发热核爆炸,爆炸的能量主要转化为碎片的动能,碎片再与AGN吸积盘碰撞将动能转化为内能,并产生特征性光变:迅速上升后以L∝t^(-2.8)衰减,时标为几小时到月的量级,具体取决于SMBH质量.后续对盘的破坏还可能导致变脸AGN现象.回落碎片撞击盘物质产生的高能辐射主要在硬X射线到软γ波段,光度可达1043erg s^(-1),有望被未来的Me V探测器观测到.另外,AGN吸积盘可能是重元素产生的工厂,白矮星相撞产生的碎片将显著增加AGN吸积盘的金属丰度.

目的探讨高龄患者胃肠肿瘤术后并发症的危险因素。方法选择2016年1月—2017年1月行胃肠道肿瘤手术的高龄患者242例进行回顾性分析,收集术前一般资料、术前合并症、术前实验室检查及其他检查指标、手术及麻醉相关因素。采用单因素和多因素logistic回归模型对术后并发症的影响因素进行统计分析。结果共71例(29.34%)患者在住院期间发生术后并发症。单因素分析结果显示:并发症患者与无并发症患者在美国麻醉医师协会分级、美国纽约心脏病学会心功能分级、Barthel指数、是否行微创手术、术前慢性肾功能不全、术前肺影像异常、术前血尿素氮水平、术前活化部分凝血活酶时间和手术时长比较,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。多因素logistic回归分析显示:Barthel指数≤60、手术时长和术前肺影像异常是高龄患者胃肠肿瘤术后并发症发生的独立危险因素(P<0.05),微创手术方式是其保护因素(P<0.05)。结论Barthel指数≤60、手术时长和术前肺影像异常的胃肠肿瘤高龄患者术后具有较高的并发症发生风险,应加以关注。

The focal depths of the 2008 Panzhihua earthquake sequence and the stress field in the source region

Focal depths of the 2008 Ms6.1 Panzhihua earthquake sequence and tectonic stress field in the source area are *** depths of 24 earthquakes in Panzhihua earthquake sequence with a magnitude M≥3.0 were determined using the seismic depth phase sPL;additionally,the focal depths of 232 earthquakes were measured by fitting the threecomponent waveforms of the P and S *** source depth of the main shock is^12 *** majority of the aftershocks with magnitude M≥3.0 occurred in the brittle upper crust at the depths range of 12-18 ***,the Source mechanisms of the 232events around the Panzhihua earthquake source area were determined,and the results show that the earthquakes have predominantly strike-slip mechanisms in the Dianzhong Block,but display complexity of the focal mechanisms outside and near the boundary of the Dianzhong *** 232 earthquake mechanisms from this study are combined with the solutions from the Global Centroid Moment Tensor (GCMT) catalog to derive 2D stress *** inversion results show that the Dianzhong block is predominantly under a strike slip faulting regime and the direction of the maximum principal compressionσ1 is northwestsoutheast (NW-SE)-*** distribution is coincide with GPS velocity ***,orientations of principal stress axes as well as the faulting types change outside and near the Dianzhong *** results show that the tectonic stress field in the study area is predominantly controlled by the southeast (SE)-trending horizontal movement and clockwise rotation of the Dianzhong block as a result of the eastward movement of eastern Tibetan meeting the old and rigid South China block (SCB).The Panzhihua earthquake ruptured at^12 km depth where the tectonic stress regime is under the SE-direction horizontal compression and the NE-direction horizontal extension.

Design,synthesis and characterization of novel poly(urethane-urea) based on a macrodiol from poly(lactic acid) and poly(p-dioxanone)

A series of novel poly（urethane-urea）（PUU） was synthesized from poly（lactide-co-p-dioxanone） macrodiol（HO-P（LA-co-PDO）-OH）, hexamethylene diisocyanate（HDI） and butanediamine（BDA）.The obtained PUU,which is recorded as P（LA-co-PDO）-PUU here,may demonstrate enhanced phase separation and thus improved shape memory *** was employed to characterize the copolymers,and the effects of NCO/OH molar ratios on Tg of PUU was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry （DSC）.The results revealed the successful synthesis of P（LA-co-PDO）-*** addition,the Tg of P（LA-co-PDO）-PUU increased from 37.9℃to 44.2℃with the increase NCO/OH ratios from 1.1 to *** P（LA-co-PDO）-PUU with Tg close to body temperature will have potential applications as shape memory polymers in biomedical fields,especially in minimally invasive surgery.
