hepatocellular carcinoma(hCC)is one of the most common and highly heterogeneous malignancies *** the rapid development of multidisciplinary treatment and personalized precision medicine strategies,the overall survival of hCC patients remains *** limited survival benefit may be attributed to difficulty in early diagnosis,the high recurrence rate and high tumor ***,a novel mode of cell death driven by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation,has been implicated in the development and therapeutic response of various tumors,including *** this review,we discuss the regulatory network of ferroptosis,describe the crosstalk between ferroptosis and hCCrelated signaling pathways,and elucidate the potential role of ferroptosis in various treatment modalities for hCC,such as systemic therapy,radiotherapy,immunotherapy,interventional therapy and nanotherapy,and applications in the diagnosis and prognosis of hCC,to provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of hCC to effectively improve the survival of hCC patients.

Rainfall erosivity is an indicator of rainfall potential to cause soil *** Melamchi extreme flood occurred on June-15 and recurred on July-31,2021 in *** these flooding events,a large volume of sediments were eroded,transported and deposited due to the high rainfall erosivity of the *** this study,the temporal and the spatial distribution of rainfall erosivity within the Melamchi River Basin was estimated and further linked to sediment discharge and concentration at various sites along the river *** daily rainfall data for the event year 2021 of the entire basin were *** was performed by post-flooding grain size *** result showed that rainfall and rainfall erosivity exhibit pronounced intensity within the Melamchi River basin,particularly at Sermathang and Tarkeghang,both located in the middle section of the *** average annual rainfall in the Melamchi region was 3140.39 mm with an average annual erosivity of 18302.06(MJ mm)/(ha h yr).The average daily erosivity of the basin was 358.67(MJ mm)/(ha h)during the first event and 1241(MJ mm)/(ha h)for the second *** the upper section of sampling,the sediment size ranged from 0.1 mm to>8 mm and was poorly ***,the lower region had smaller sediment ranging from 0.075 mm to>4.75 mm and also well *** smaller size(h higher in the Chanaute(78%)and Melamchi(66.5%)river segments but the larger size(>100 mm)sediments were passed relatively higher from the Kiwil(8.20%)and Ambathan(8.39%)river *** premonsoon and monsoon seasons,the highest sediment concentration was found to be 563.8 g/L and 344.3 g/L in Bhimtar and the lowest was 238.5 g/L and 132.1 g/L at the Ambathan,*** sediment concentration during the pre-monsoon was found to be higher than the sediment concentration during the monsoon season in the Melamchi *** more erosive regions in the basin were associated with the presence of highly

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of an End Plate Connection with Using Long Shank SMA Bolts

Superelastic shape memory alloys( SMAs) have the ability to recover their original shape after experiencing large strains. End-plate connection with using superelastic long shank SMA bolts is proposed in this paper. By using strong beam-weak bolt cluster design methodology and special configurations to strength beam ends,a superelastic hinge is expected to form in column flange. To validate the mechanical behavior of the proposed beam-to-column connection,both quasi-static tests and numerical analysis are conducted with cyclic transverse loads applied on the beam ends. The results indicate the connection deformations concentrate on the long shank SMA bolts upon loading and the bolt cluster rotates around the axis near beam flange. By using the super elastic effect,the SMA bolts recover most elongations and the connection recovers to its original shape after experiencing 0. 02 rad interstorey drift angle. The connection shows obvious self-centering properties.

A new series of liquid crystals comprising eight heterocyclic isoflavone esters,7-alkanoyloxy-3-[4＇-（3-methylbutyloxyphenyl）]- 4h-1-benzopyran-4-ones exhibiting enantiotropic nematic（N） and smectic C（SmC） phases were synthesized and *** mesomorphic properties of all derivatives were investigated by means of differential calorimetry and polarized optical microscopy. Wide angle X-ray diffraction technique was employed to investigate the molecular packing associated with the intermolecular interaction as well as the correlation between the thermal behaviour of these compounds with their anisotropy properties within a mesophase.

TIMP-1 Production in human Retinal Pigment Epithelial Cells after Laser Exposure

Purpose: To investigate changes in the production of tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase type 1 (TIMP-1) by human retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells following argon laser ***: human cultured ARPE19 cells were exposed to argon green laser at four different energy levels ranging from 60mW to 360mW. After laser exposure, the culture media were sampled at 0, 24, 72 and 144 hours for TIMP-1 concentration produced by the RPE cells. The levels of TIMP-1 in the cells treated with different laser energy levels were compared with a control group not exposed to laser *** for proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) was performed to detect any adverse effects on the RPE cells caused by laser ***: Immediately after laser exposure, the concentration of TIMP- 1 was not detectable. At 24 hours after laser exposure, the concentration of TIMP-1 increased significantly in RPE cells treated with 120mW and 240mW at 24 hours (P=0.006 and P=0.001respectively) compared with control cells. At 72 hours after treatment, RPE cells treated at 120mW, 240mW and 360mW demonstrated significantly increase in TIMP-1production compared with control (P=0.003, P ＜ 0.001 and P ＜ 0.001, respectively).No significant reduction in cell viability was observed following laser application as detected by PCNA ***: Our results demonstrated that early TIMP-1 production by RPE cells in cell cultures was enhanced following laser exposure.

＜正＞In this paper, the problems on sensor locations for vibration control of thin plate systems with parameter variation or noise have been investigated. Based on the spectral condition number of data matrix, the optimal sensor locations （OSLs） can be determined, and the effect of noise on the OSLs is discussed using the matrix perturbation theory. Some experiments were carried out to verify the effectiveness of the presented method.
