The aim of this paper is to obtain the approximate analytical solution of a fractional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation by using homotopy perturbation method (HPM). The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. Several examples are given and the results are compared to exact solutions. The results reveal that the method is very effective and simple.

One of the objectives of this study is to determine the effect of the eight-week fascial therapy program on flex-ibility,vertical jump,standing long jump,speed and anaerobic strength parameters in taekwondo *** aim of the research is to create a therapy protocol that can be used in athletes related to performance development through the relaxation of the fascial system,which is considered an indicator of physical fitness and has numerous functions in the *** study included 32 taekwondo players who were licensed,actively attending taekwondo *** the study,two groups were formed as fascial therapy group(FTG)(n=16)and control group(CG)(n=16).After the groups were randomized,fascial relaxation techniques were applied to the fascial therapy group for eight weeks,up to twice a week,and for 30 *** to the findings obtained as a result of the research,FTG([-0.36±0.17]seconds[s])for the 20 m(m)Sprint(T2-T1)had a lower mean time than CG(0.00±0.07)s,FTG(0.06±1.95)for the Flamingo Balance Test(T2-T1)had a lower mean fall than CG(1.25±1.13),FTG([3.56±2.37]centimeters[cm])for the Sit&Reach Test(T2-T1)had a lower mean fall than CG([-0.19±1.28]cm),FTG([5.75±2.54]cm)had a higher jump distance than CG([1.88±8.11]cm)ac-cording to the results of Vertical Jump Test(T2-T1)and finally FTG([9.13±5.56]cm)had a longer distance than CG([-0.31±1.85]cm)according to the results of Standing Long Jump Test(T2-T1).The result of our study has shown that fascial techniques can be used safely by experienced physiotherapists and can be included in the training *** is recommended that coaches of sports disciplines work with experienced physiotherapists on this subject and include fascial methods in their training programs.

AIM:To compare the safety and efficacy of conventional versus accelerated(9 mW/cm^2)corneal collagen crosslinking(CXL)in progressive keratoconus at the 2-year ***:In this prospective study,consecutive progressive keratoconus patients were randomized to receive either conventional CXL(CCXL)or accelerated CXL(ACXL;using hydroxypropyl methylcellulose-assisted riboflavin imbibition for 10 min at 9 mW/cm^2).Visual,refractive,keratometric,topographic,and aberrometric outcomes and stromal demarcation line depth(DLD)measurements were compared at the end of a 2-year ***:Thirty-two eyes from 32 patients in the CCXL and 27 eyes from 27 patients in the ACXL groups completed 2-year *** 2y post-CXL,both uncorrected and corrected visual acuities improved significantly in both *** improvements in keratometric readings,flattening rate(flattening of the maximum keratometry more than 1 D),3 topographic indices,and vertical coma were significantly better in the CCXL group compared to the ACXL group(P<0.05).The DLD as measured by anterior segment optical coherence tomography or in vivo confocal microscopy was better detectable and significantly deeper in the CCXL group compared to the ACXL *** deeper DLD was found to be significantly correlated with improvements in the mean keratometry *** was noted in 11.1%of eyes in the ACXL group,whereas progression was not observed in any patient eye in the CCXL ***:In this prospective randomized study,ACXL is less effective in halting the progression of keratoconus at a 2-year follow-up compared to CCXL.

AIM:To give an overview of the literature on left-sided acute appendicitis (LSAA) associated with situs inversus totalis (SIT) and midgut malrotation (MM).METHODS:We present a new case of LSAA with SIT and a literature review of studies published in the English language on LSAA,accessed via PubMed and Google Scholar ***:Ninety-five published cases of LSAA were evaluated and a 25-year-old female,who presented to our clinic with left lower abdominal pain caused by LSAA,is *** the reviewed literature,fiftyseven patients were male and 38 were female with an age range of 8 to 82 years and a median age of 29.1 ± 15.9 ***-six patients had SIT,23 had MM,three had cecal malrotation,and two had a previously unnoted congenital ***-nine patients had presentedto the hospital with left lower,14 with right lower and seven with bilateral lower quadrant pain,and seven subjects complained of left upper quadrant *** diagnosis was established preoperatively in 49 patients,intraoperatively in 19,and during the postoperative period in five;14 patients were aware of having this *** data of eight patients were not *** patients underwent laparoscopic appendectomy,which was combined with cholecystectomy in two *** examination of the appendix specimens revealed adenocarcinoma in only two of 95 ***:The diagnosis of left lower quadrant pain is based on well-established clinical symptoms,physical examination and physician's experience.

AIM: To evaluate the clinical results, efficacy and safety of Ex-PRESS P200 glaucoma shunt implant in different types of medically uncontrolled glaucoma. METHODS: The study included 31 eyes of 31 patients that were unresponsive to medical antiglaucomatous therapy in whom Ex-PRESS P200 glaucoma shunt implantation was performed. The demographic characteristics of the patients, type of glaucoma, complete ocular examination results, number of antiglaucomatous drugs before and after surgery, early and late complications of surgery, additional surgical and nonsurgical medical interventions, and success rates were investigated from the patients’ files, retrospectively. RESULTS: The mean postoperative follow-up time was 16.4±7.5 mo. The preoperative mean corrected intraocular pressure(IOP) was 28.7±10.3 mm Hg and postoperative mean corrected IOP was 15.3±5.2 mm Hg(P<0.05) at the last visit. The mean IOP reduction was 39.9% when the preoperative and postoperative values of the last visits were compared. The average number of antiglaucomatous drug use decreased from 3.9±0.3 to 1.7±1.7 postoperatively(P<0.05). The use of antiglaucomatous medications at the last visit was more than in other studies in the literature. The most common complication was conjunctival leakage, which was seen in 7 patients. Other early complications were iris touch, intravitreal hemorrhage, hyphema, choroidal effusion, early transient hypotonia and corneal edema. One of the late complications was endophthalmitiswhich was seen in one case 6 mo after the operation, and the other late complication was opacification of the cornea in one patient. Twelve additional surgical operations associated to Ex-PRESS surgery and 3 bleb needling have done. At the last visit, the complete success rate was 32.3% and the qualified success rate was 77.5% in all patients. Anaerobic digestion(AD)as a waste management method has the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while pro-ducing renewable energy,making it a viable option for managing the organic fraction of municipal solid waste(OFMSW).OFMSW characteristics can vary depending on factors such as waste source,composition and separation *** charac-teristics of OFMSW are critical for analyzing and monitoring the AD process to optimize biogas *** this study,the waste composition and physicochemical characteristics of the mechanically separated OFMSW(ms-OFMSW)were determined at a full-scale AD plant in *** ms-OFMSW samples were collected monthly after mechanical separation and were subsequently sent to the anaerobic *** composition and physicochemical characteristics of the samples were determined by manual *** results showed that the majority of the ms-OFMSW(76.45%±1.71%)was organic,while 8.99%±1.56%was recyclable and 14.56%±1.69%was *** of environmental benefits for the recyclable materials was determined using a free online tool provided by Environmental Protection ***(399.7 GJ)and plas-tics(403.7 GJ)both saved nearly the same amount of energy while metals saved the most water(421.8 m3),with the greatest positive *** benefits ranged from 3 tons to 40 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent for each waste *** findings suggest that efficient pre-separation units can improve the anaerobic digestibility of OFMSW,while also providing greater environmental benefits by preventing recyclable waste from the anaerobic *** addition to encouraging source separation applications,this study demonstrates the need for improved technologies to separate OFMSW from mixed MSW.

Meckel's diverticulum is a very common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract but many cases remain asymptomatic and are diagnosed incidentally during laparoscopic or other surgical procedures. Cases of femoral hernia involving Meckel's diverticulum are rare, with less than 50 cases reported in the literature since Littre published the first description of this coincident condition over 300 years ago. While all true "Littre's hernias" contain a Meckel's diverticulum, the involved anatomical sites are various, the most common being the inner groin(inguinal), the outer groin(femoral), and the belly button(umbilical). Complications of Littre's hernias include incarceration, strangulation, necrosis, and perforation. Herein, we describe a case of Littre's hernia that involved an incarcerated Meckel's diverticulum in a femoral hernia that was diagnosed upon investigation of symptomology manifesting from perforation and was successfully managed by surgical resection with stapler devices.

AIM： To evaluate the clinical, radiological, and treatment features of lacrimal gland ***： Retrospective review of 99 eyes of 92 patients with lacrimal gland tumors diagnosed and managed in a single institution between January 1999 and March 2017. Clinical and radiological features, histopathology, treatment methods, and prognosis were ***： The mean patient age was 40.3（range： 7-80）*** diagnosis was made histopathologically in 91（91.9%） tumors and on a clinical and radiological basis in 8（8.1%） tumors. Final diagnoses included idiopathic orbital inflammation（pseudotumor） in 46（46.5%） lesions, pleomorphic adenoma in 14（14.1%）, adenoid cystic carcinoma in 12（12.1%）, granulomatous inflammation in 10（10.1%）, lymphoma in 5（5.0%）, benign reactive lymphoid hyperplasia in 3（3.0%）, dacryops in 3（3.0%）, carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma in 2（2.0%）, adenocarcinoma in 1（1.0%）, dermoid cyst in 1（1.0%）, cavernous hemangioma in 1（1.0%）, and leukemic infiltration in 1（1.0%）. Nonepithelial tumors comprised 64.6%（n=64） of all lacrimal gland tumors, epithelial tumors 32.3%（n=32）, dermoid cyst 1%（n=1）, cavernous hemangioma 1%（n=1）, and leukemic infiltration 1%（n=1）. There were in total 78（78.8%） benign and 21（21.2%） malignant tumors. CONCLUSION： Overall, 65% of lacrimal gland tumors were of non-epithelial origin and 32% of epithelial origin. By histopathology and clinical evaluation, 79% of lacrimal gland tumors were benign. The most common lacrimal gland tumors include idiopathic orbital inflammation（46.5%）, epithelial（32.3%）, and lymphoproliferative（8.1%） lesions.
