Background:Accumulating evidence suggests that sports participation promotes the development of inhibitory control,but the influences of the sports category and inhibition type still remain *** categorization of sports based on the open-skill(externally paced)and closed-skill(self-paced)continuum allows for the integration of the environment as a factor contributing to sports-related benefits for inhibitory ***:Cross-sectional data from different studies were combined(n=184)to examine the association between open-and closed-skill sports and cognitive control processes related to interference control and response ***(aged 9-14 years)filled in 7-day physical activity recall protocols and completed a Stroop Color-Word or a Go/noGo *** n200,n450,and P300 components of event-related potentials elicited by these tasks were recorded using ***:Partial correlations supported the belief that time spent in open-skill sports was related to higher performance on inhibition ***,path analyses revealed an association between this sports type and a greater negativity in the n200 and n450 amplitudes in both the full sample and group-level *** contrast,no relation was found between sports type and P300 ***:The findings suggest that only the engagement in open-skill sports is associated with more effective conflict monitoring and higher performance on tasks demanding inhibitory control.

Jiangsu plain is located along the downstream of the yangtze River, the north part of which is also the coast area of the Yellow Sea. The specific location makes the local environmental issues regionally important. This paper studied arable land area, plantation structure, livestock sector data, which shows that livestock sector contributes a big amount of nitrogen and phosphorus, in terms of the demand from the agriculture use in Jiangsu plain. But actually, there is still much mineral fertiliser used in agriculture, which causes the n and P produced from livestock sector being an important source of pollution to the environment. The paper suggests to tighten up manure management, in order to lead to a big reduction in the pollution to both soil and surface water.

Emerging adulthood(EA)is a critical stage of life to develop and sustain a healthy lifestyle,which is also a time of vulnerability to poor physical and mental health *** this study,we conducted a path analysis(n=1326)to examine associations among four dimensions of EA,levels of regular physical activity(PA),self-control,MPA tendency and irrational *** found:1)higher levels of PA predicted both MPA tendency(β=−0.08,95%CI:−0.11 to−0.06,pnd irrational procrastination(β=−0.01,95%CI:−0.17 to−0.008,pndirectly via self-control;2)Instability(β=0.13,95%CI:0.08 to 0.18,pnd Responsibility(β=−0.06,95%CI:−0.10 to−0.08,p=0.03)exerted direct effects on irrational procrastination and Instability also indirectly predicted irrational procrastination via MPA tendency(β=0.03,95%CI:0.02 to 0.05,pndings proved that perceived features of EA are linked to behavioral problems and supported that regular PA plays a crucial role to protect mental health.

Background:Evaluation of carbon(C),nitrogen(n),and phosphorus(P)ratios in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems can advance our understanding of biological processes,nutrient cycling,and the fate of organic matter(OM)in these *** of aquatic ecosystems can change the accumulation and decomposition of OM which can alter biogeochemical cycling and alter the base of the aquatic food *** study investigated nutrient stoichiometry within and among wetland ecosystem compartments(i.e.,water column,flocculent,soil,and aboveground vegetation biomass)of two subtropical treatment wetlands with distinct vegetation *** flow-ways(FWs)within the network of Everglades Stormwater Treatment Areas in south Florida(USA)were selected for this *** evaluated nutrient stoichiometry of these to understand biogeochemical cycling and controls of nutrient removal in a treatment wetland within an ecological stoichiometry ***:This study demonstrates that C,n,and P stoichiometry can be highly variable among ecosystem compartments and between *** law slopes of C,n,and P within surface water floc,soil,and vegetation were significantly different between and along ***:Assessment of wetland nutrient stoichiometry between and within ecosystem compartments suggests unconstrained stoichiometry related to P that conforms with the notion of P limitation in the *** in n:P ratios between floc and soil suggest different pathways of organic nutrient accumulation and retention between *** nutrient stoichiometry was highly variable and decoupled(or close to decoupled as indicated byned variation between parameters),in particular with respect to *** hypothesize that decoupling may be the imprint of variability in inflow nutrient ***,despite active biogeochemical cycles that could act to restore nutrient stoichiometry along the FW,there was little evidence that such balancing occurred,as the

Fe（3–x）O4 raspberry shaped nanostructures/graphene nanocomposites were synthesized by a one-step polyol-solvothermal method to be tested as electrode materials for Li-ion battery（LIB）. Indeed, Fe（3–x）O4 raspberry shaped nanostructures consist of original oriented aggregates of Fe（3–x）O4 magnetite nanocrystals, ensuring a low oxidation state of magnetite and a hollow and porous structure, which has been easily combined with graphene sheets. The resulting nanocomposite powder displays a very homogeneous spatial distribution of Fe（3–x）O4 nanostructures at the surface of the graphene sheets. These original nanostructures and their strong interaction with the graphene sheets resulted in very small capacity fading upon Li＋ion intercalation. Reversible capacity, as high as 660 m Ah/g, makes this material promising for anode in Li-ion batteries application.

Radiation pressure and photothermal forces have been previously used to optically actuate micro/nanomechanical structures fabricated from semiconductor piezoelectric materials such as gallium arsenide(GaAs).In these materials,coupling of the photovoltaic and piezoelectric properties has not been fully explored and leads to a new type of optical actuation that we call the photovoltaic-piezoelectric effect(PVPZ).We demonstrate this effect by electrically measuring,via the direct piezoelectric effect,the optically induced strain in a novel torsional *** micron-scale torsional resonator is fabricated from a lattice-matched single-crystal molecular beam epitaxy(MBE)-grown GaAs photodiode *** find that the strain depends on the product of the electro-optic responsivity and piezoelectric constant of *** photovoltaic-piezoelectric effect has important potential applications,such as in the development of configurable optical circuits,which can be used in neuromorphic photonic chips,processing of big data with deep learning and the development of quantum circuits.

The particular mechanisms of migraine anticipation by different precipitating agents are still unknown. The contingent negative variation (CnV) was recorded in the premenstrual and ovulation phases of the cycle in both rest and stress conditions in 17 migraine and 15 healthy women. In migraineurs a significant increase of amplitude of the initial CnV component in the premenstrual phase compared with ovulation was observed. During both the ovulation and premenstrual phases both migraineurs and controls demonstrated a significant increase of the CnV amplitude on stress. The increase of the amplitude on stress in the premenstrual phase was more pronounced in migraineurs. This study shows that stress and menstrual cycle are associated with changes of the initial CnV amplitude, probably indicating a higher probability of migraine attacks.
