Meningeal lymphatic vessels form a relationship between the nervous system and periphery, which is relevant in both health and disease. Meningeal lymphatic vessels not only play a key role in the drainage of brain metabolites but also contribute to antigen delivery and immune cell activation. The advent of novel genomic technologies has enabled rapid progress in the characterization of myeloid and lymphoid cells and their interactions with meningeal lymphatic vessels within the central nervous system. In this review, we provide an overview of the multifaceted roles of meningeal lymphatic vessels within the context of the central nervous system immune network, highlighting recent discoveries on the immunological niche provided by meningeal lymphatic vessels. Furthermore, we delve into the mechanisms of crosstalk between meningeal lymphatic vessels and immune cells in the central nervous system under both homeostatic conditions and neurodegenerative diseases, discussing how these interactions shape the pathological outcomes. Regulation of meningeal lymphatic vessel function and structure can influence lymphatic drainage, cerebrospinal fluid-borne immune modulators, and immune cell populations in aging and neurodegenerative disorders, thereby playing a key role in shaping meningeal and brain parenchyma immunity.

Analysis of PM2.5 and O3 Pollution Causes in Hangzhou Based on High-resolution Enhanced Observation During the Asian Games

Based on the high-resolution enhanced observation data of PM2.5 organic molecular tracers,aldehydes and ketone OVOC components,long-chain alkane IVOC components,and key species of atmospheric oxidation during September 1 to October 27,2023,the causes of PM2.5 and O3 pollution in Hangzhou were analyzed. Seven pollution processes were selected with the average daily concentration of PM2.5 exceeding 35 µg·m-3 or the maximum 8-hour concentration of O3 exceeding 160 µg·m-3. Then,these pollution processes were divided into four types:north-northeast transmission type(T1),east-southeast transmission type(T2),north-northwest transmission type(T3),and statically stable type(T4)by airflow trajectory. The research results indicated that the T2 pollution process exhibited strong PM2.5 and O3 composite pollution characteristics and the photochemical oxidation reaction of active VOC components,such as long-chain alkanes and terpenes in the atmospheric environment was the major pollution cause of this type. In the process of T1 and T3 pollution,the overall reactivity of VOCs was low,resulting in relatively weak O3 generation. However,the causes of PM2.5 in these two types of pollution processes were different. T1 pollution was affected by low temperature and high humidity meteorological conditions and the enhanced liquid-phase oxidation process led to a significant increase in nitrate concentration. T3 pollution was significantly affected by emissions from coal combustion,biomass combustion,and other sources,with a relatively high proportion of primary components in PM2.5. The T4 pollution process was significantly affected by local primary anthropogenic emissions,thus the control of local catering source and mobile source emissions must be strengthened. © 2025 Science Press. It is of great significance to accurately and rapidly identify shale lithofacies in relation to the evaluation and prediction of sweet spots for shale oil and gas reservoirs. To address the problem of low resolution in logging curves, this study establishes a grayscale-phase model based on high-resolution grayscale curves using clustering analysis algorithms for shale lithofacies identification, working with the Shahejie Formation, Bohai Bay Basin, China. The grayscale phase is defined as the sum of absolute grayscale and relative amplitude as well as their features. The absolute grayscale is the absolute magnitude of the gray values and is utilized for evaluating the material composition(mineral composition + total organic carbon) of shale, while the relative amplitude is the difference between adjacent gray values and is used to identify the shale structure type. The research results show that the grayscale phase model can identify shale lithofacies well, and the accuracy and applicability of this model were verified by the fitting relationship between absolute grayscale and shale mineral composition, as well as corresponding relationships between relative amplitudes and laminae development in shales. Four lithofacies are identified in the target layer of the study area: massive mixed shale, laminated mixed shale, massive calcareous shale and laminated calcareous shale. This method can not only effectively characterize the material composition of shale, but also numerically characterize the development degree of shale laminae, and solve the problem that difficult to identify millimeter-scale laminae based on logging curves, which can provide technical support for shale lithofacies identification, sweet spot evaluation and prediction of complex continental lacustrine basins.

The microstructure evolution and bainitic transformation of an Fe-0.19C-4.03Mn-1.48Si steel subjected to near-M_(s)austempering treatment were systematically investigated by combining dilatometer,X-ray diffraction,and electron *** additional austempering treatments with isothermal temperatures above M_(s)were used as *** show that the incubation period for the bainitic transformation occurs when the medium Mn steel is treated with the austempering temperature above M_(s).However,when subjected to near-M_(s)isothermal treatment,the medium Mn steel does not show an incubation period and has the fastest bainitic transformation ***,the largest volume fraction of bainite with a value of 74.7%is obtained on the condition of near-M_(s)austempering treatment after cooling to room *** and microstructure evolution analysis indicates that the elimination of the incubation period and the fastest rate of bainitic transformation are related to the preformed *** advent of preformed martensite allows the specimen to generate more bainite in a limited *** bainitic ferrite nucleation at austenite grain boundaries and through autocatalysis at ferrite/austenite interfaces,a model is established to understand the kinetics of bainite formation and it can describe the nucleation rate of bainitic transformation well when compared to the experimental results.

The high Ba-Sr rocks can provide significant clues about the evolution of the continent lithosphere,but their petrogenesis remains *** the Late Cretaceous high Ba–Sr granodiorites in the SE Lhasa Block could potentially provide valuable insights into the continent evolution of the Qinghai-Tibet *** U–Pb ages suggest that the granodiorites were emplaced at 87.32±0.43 ***,the high Ba–Sr granodiorites are characterized by elevated K_(2)O+Na_(2)O contents(8.18-8.73 wt%)and K_(2)O/Na_(2)O ratios(0.99-1.25,mostly>1),and belong to high-K calc-alkaline to shoshonitic *** Yonglaga granodiorites show notably high Sr(653-783 ppm)and Ba(1346-1531 ppm)contents,plus high Sr/Y(30.92-38.18)and(La/Yb)_(N)(27.7-34.7)ratios,but low Y(20.0-22.8 ppm)and Yb(1.92-2.19 ppm)contents with absence of negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.83-0.88),all similar to typical high Ba–Sr *** variable zirconεHf(t)values of-4.58 to+12.97,elevated initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr isotopic ratios of 0.707254 to 0.707322 and lowεNd(t)values of-2.8 to-3.6 with decoupling from the Hf system suggest that a metasomatized mantle source included significant recycled ancient *** occurrence of such high Ba–Sr intrusions indicates previous contributions of metasomatized mantle-derived juvenile material to the continents,which imply the growth of continental crust during the Late Cretaceous in the SE *** with regional data,we infer that the underplated mafic magma provides a significant amount of heat,which leads to partial melting of the juvenile *** melting of the metasomatized mantle could produce a juvenile mafic lower crust,from which the high Ba–Sr granitoids were derived from reworking of previous mafic crust during the Late Cretaceous(ca.100-80 Ma)in the SE Lhasa.

Skins expose to kinds of risk factors for damage, such as the hormone drugs, skin care products and ultraviolet radiation, which is accompanied by the production of excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)and eventually leads to hypertrichosis. This skin disease is not aesthetically pleasing and even causes psychological and spiritual problems such as inferiority, anxiety and irritability. Current therapies are limited and often unsatisfactory, such as pharmacological and physical therapies, which have adverse effects and cause the irreversible destruction of hair follicles. Gold nanoclusters have good biocompatibility and their biosynthesis in vivo is responsive to oxidative stress microenvironment(OSM), which could be a safe and effective drug for ROS-induced skin injury. In our study, we demonstrated that zero valence fluorescent gold nanoclusters(FGNCs) were in situ biosynthesized in the plucking-induced damaged skin but not in the normal skin after the administration of gold precursors(+3), while FGNCs inhibited hair follicle regeneration by negatively regulating nuclear transcription factor kappa B(NFκB)-mediated inflammatory response signaling pathway(NFκB/tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) axis). This OSM-responsive in situ biosynthesis method is facile and safe and holds great promise for curing hypertrichosis associated with skin dermatitis and injury.
