An innovative grade of ferritic stainless steel,ultra-pure 18Cr–2Mo thick plate,was designed and produced for special industrial *** order to maintain its mechanical properties after joining,three advanced joining methods,hybrid laser arc welding,activated flux tungsten inert gas welding and friction stir welding,were selected and conducted to connect the thick *** feasibility of three joining methods,the microstructure and mechanical properties were compared,and the results have demonstrated that the sound joint was successfully produced using the selected parameters through friction stir *** obtained hardness and impact toughness of the weld zone were *** terms of activated flux tungsten inert gas welding,the crack will be created due to microstructural *** as for hybrid laser arc welding,the weld zone is narrow,and the addition of wire during welding for the top weld metal area leads to higher formation ratio of low-angle grain boundaries,which is beneficial to performance of the ***,there is still a weak area in the fusion line of the welded *** result has illustrated that the welding of innovative ultra-pure ferritic stainless steel thick plate by friction stir welding is feasible.

Phase image in tapping-mode atomic force microscope(TM-AFM)results from various dissipations in a microcantilever *** phases mainly reflect the tip-sample contact dissipations which allow the nanoscale characteristics to be distinguished from each *** this work,two factors affecting the phase and phase contrast are *** is concluded from the theoretical and experimental results that the phases and phase contrasts in the TM-AFM are related to the excitation frequency and energy dissipation of the *** a two-component blend,it is theoretically and experimentally proven that there exists an optimal excitation frequency for maximizing the phase ***,selecting the optimal excitation frequency can potentially improve the phase contrast *** addition,only the key dissipation between the tip and sample is found to accurately reflect the sample ***,the background dissipation can potentially reduce the contrasts of the phase images and even mask or distort the effective information in the phase *** order to address the aforementioned issues,a self-excited method is adopted in this study in order to eliminate the effects of the background dissipation on the ***,the real phase information of the samples is successfully *** is shown in this study that the eliminating of the background dissipation can effectively improve the phase contrast results and the real phase information of the samples is accurately *** results are of great significance in optimizing the phases of two-component samples and multi-component samples in atomic force microscope.

Lithium-ion capacitors(LICs),consisting of a capacitor-type material and a battery-type material together with organic electrolytes,are the state-of-the-art electrochemical energy storage devices compared with supercapacitors and *** to their unique characteristics,LICs received a lot of attentions,and great progresses have been achieved,especially in the exploration of cathode and anode *** techniques are regarded as indispensable procedures for LICs systems,which can compensate for the initial irreversible capacity loss,increase the Li^(+)concentration in the electrolyte,raise the working voltage and resolve the safety and cycle stability issues;however,its research progress is slow,and there is not enough attention until *** this overview,we look into the ongoing processes on the recent development of prelithiation technologies,especially in organic electrolyte consumption-type *** particular,some prelithiation strategies for LICs are summarized and discussed in detail,including the ex situ electrochemical method,in situ electrochemical method,and cathode prelithiation additives ***,we propose some unresolved challenges and prospects for prelithiation technologies from the basic research ideas and future key research *** work aims to bring up new insights to reassess the significance of premetallation strategies for advanced hybrid-ion capacitors based on the currently proposed prelithiation strategies.

In petroleum industry, crude oil emulsions are commonly formed in oilfields. The asphaltenes and fine particles in crude oil may affect the stability of the emulsions by adsorbing at the water/oil interface. In this research, the effect of silica nanoparticles and asphaltenes on emulsion stability is explored first. The asphaltenes are proved to benefit emulsion stability. Unlike the asphaltenes, however, the modified silica nanoparticles may have positive or negative effect on emulsion stability, depending on the asphaltene concentration and aggregation degree in the emulsions. Further, it is confirmed by conducting interfacial experiment that the asphaltenes and particles can adsorb at the interface simultaneously and determine the properties of the interfacial layer. More in-depth experiments concerning contact angle and asphaltene adsorption amount on the particles indicate that the asphaltenes can modify the wettability of the particles. Higher concentration and lower aggregation degree of the asphaltenes can increase their adsorption amount on the surface of particles and then improve the modification effectiveness of the particles. Resultantly, the particles with good modification effectiveness can enhance the emulsion stability while the particles with poor modification effectiveness will weaken the emulsion stability.

With continuous hydrocarbon exploration extending to deeper basins,the deepest industrial oil accumulation was discovered below 8,200 m,revealing a new exploration ***,the extent to which oil exploration can be extended,and the prediction of the depth limit of oil accumulation(DLOA),are issues that have attracted significant attention in petroleum *** it is difficult to characterize the evolution of the physical properties of the marine carbonate reservoir with burial depth,and the deepest drilling still cannot reach the ***,the DLOA cannot be predicted by directly establishing the relationship between the ratio of drilling to the dry layer and the *** this study,by establishing the relationships between the porosity and the depth and dry layer ratio of the carbonate reservoir,the relationships between the depth and dry layer ratio were obtained *** depth corresponding to a dry layer ratio of 100%is the *** on this,a quantitative prediction model for the DLOA was finally *** results indicate that the porosity of the carbonate reservoir,Lower Ordovician in Tazhong area of Tarim Basin,tends to decrease with burial depth,and manifests as an overall low porosity reservoir in deep *** critical porosity of the DLOA was 1.8%,which is the critical geological condition corresponding to a 100%dry layer ratio encountered in the *** depth of the DLOA was 9,000 *** study provides a new method for DLOA prediction that is beneficial for a deeper understanding of oil accumulation,and is of great importance for scientific guidance on deep oil drilling.

Retinitis pigmentosa(RP)is a group of genetic disorders characterized by progressive degeneration of photoreceptors and retinal pigment epithelium(RPE)*** main clinical manifestations include night blindness and progressive loss of peripheral vision,making it a prevalent debilitating eye disease that significantly impacts patients’quality of *** exhibits significant phenotypic and genetic *** instance,numerous abnormal genes are implicated in RP,resulting in varying clinical presentations,disease progression rates,and pathological characteristics among different ***,gene therapy for RP poses challenges due to these ***,stem cells have garnered considerable attention in the field of RPE therapy since both RPE cells and photoreceptors can be derived from stem *** recent years,a large number of animal experiments and clinical trials based on stem cell transplantation attempts,especially cord blood mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)transplantation and bone marrow-derived MSC transplantation,have confirmed that stem cell therapy can effectively and safely improve the outer retinal function of the RP-affected ***,stem cell therapy also has certain limitations,such as the fact that RP patients may involve multiple types of retinal cytopathia,which brings great challenges to stem cell transplantation therapy,and further research is needed to solve various problems faced by this approach in the *** comprehensive analysis of the etiology and histopathological changes associated with RP,this study substantiates the efficacy and safety of stem cell therapy based on rigorous animal experimentation and clinical trials,while also highlighting the existing limitations that warrant further investigation.

Since the launch of the Google Earth Engine(GEE)cloud platform in 2010,it has been widely used,leading to a wealth of valuable ***,the potential of GEE for forest resource management has not been fully *** extract dominant woody plant species,GEE combined Sen-tinel-1(S1)and Sentinel-2(S2)data with the addition of the National Forest Resources Inventory(NFRI)and topographic data,resulting in a 10 m resolution multimodal geospatial dataset for subtropical forests in southeast *** and texture features,red-edge bands,and vegetation indices of S1 and S2 data were computed.A hierarchical model obtained information on forest distribution and area and the dominant woody plant *** results suggest that combining data sources from the S1 winter and S2 yearly ranges enhances accuracy in forest distribution and area extraction compared to using either data source ***,for dominant woody species recognition,using S1 winter and S2 data across all four seasons was *** terrain factors and removing spatial correlation from NFRI sample points further improved the recognition *** optimal forest extraction achieved an overall accuracy(OA)of 97.4%and a maplevel image classification efficacy(MICE)of 96.7%.OA and MICE were 83.6%and 80.7%for dominant species extraction,*** high accuracy and efficacy values indicate that the hierarchical recognition model based on multimodal remote sensing data performed extremely well for extracting information about dominant woody plant *** the results using the GEE application allows for an intuitive display of forest and species distribution,offering significant convenience for forest resource monitoring.
