BACKGROUND Mixed epithelial and stromal tumors of the kidney (MESTKs) are a rare entity (about a hundred cases reported).They occur almost exclusively in postmenopausal women,with only seven cases reported in *** this entity is very rare,little is known on its imaging features,especially magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) *** women,at MRI,the cystic component shows T1 hypointensity and T2 hyperintensity,while the solid component shows T1 hyperintensity and T2 *** SUMMARY We report the computed tomography (CT) and MRI findings of MESTK in a 19- year-old male *** our knowledge,this case report is the first report of MRI findings of MESTK in male *** patient was admitted to Subei People's Hospital (Jiangsu Province,China) in July 2017 after a renal mass on the left side was detected by ultrasound during a clinical *** tests were all ***-enhanced CT showed a round,well-circumscribed complex mass,approximately 45 mm × 40 mm in *** revealed a clear wellcircumscribed mass with a mixed arrangement of solid and cystic *** T2 weighted images,some hypointensities were found in the solid *** contrast enhancement,moderate or mild enhancement was found in the solid component,which increased with time.A radical left nephrectomy was *** pathology analysis revealed a mixed epithelial and stromal *** patient had no imaging findings of recurrence or metastasis at 12 months following *** The possibility of MESTK should be considered in male *** can provide useful information for the preoperative diagnosis.

Ever since involvement of the Binhai New Area into the national development strategy, carrying out highly effective financing promptly will play the pivotal role to implement its economic development strategy smoothly. In this paper, based on nature of regional financing, the descriptive analysis for the financing condition of the Binhai New Area is carried on. And also based on financing restraint theory and the neoclassic investment model, a real diagnosis analysis for the financing constraint condition of the Binhai New Area is studied. Finally, the existed questions in it are pointed out, and propose the correlative improvement countermeasure is put forward.

Syntax score predicts clinical outcome in patients with three-vessel coronary artery disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention

Background The Syntax score was recently developed as a comprehensive, angiographic tool grading the complexity of coronary artery disease （CAD）. It aims to assist in patient selection and risk stratification of patients with extensive CAD undergoing revascularization. However, the prognostic value of the Syntax score in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） has not been validated. The aim of this study was to evaluate its role in predicting long-term incidences of major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events （MACCE） in patients undergoing PCI for 3-vessel *** Two hundred and three consecutive patients with de novo 3-vessel CAD undergoing PCI with sirolimus-eluting stents were studied. Their angiograms were scored according to the Syntax score. The patients were divided into tertiles according to the Syntax score： lowest Syntax score tertile （Syntax score 〈22）, intermediate Syntax score tertile （Syntax score of 23 to 32）, and the highest Syntax score tertile （Syntax score 〉33）. During the 1-year follow-up, the MACCE-free survival curves were estimated by the Kaplan-Meier method. Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression analyses were performed to evaluate the relation between the Syntax score and the incidence of MACCE. Performance of the Syntax score was studied with respect to predicting the rate of MACCE by receiver operator characteristic （ROC） curves with an area under the *** The overall Syntax score ranged from 6 to 66 with mean ± standard deviation of 27.9±12.6 and a median of 26. The depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite still lacked in-depth ***,the depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite was further systematically investigated with experiments and density functional theory(DFT)*** X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy(XPS)results,DFT calculation results,and frontier molecular orbital analysis indicated that sulfite ions were difficult to be adsorbed on sphalerite surface,suggesting that sulfite ions achieved depression effects on sphalerite through other non-adsorption ***,the oxygen content in the surface of sphalerite treated with sulfite ions in creased,which enhanced the hydrophilicity of the sphalerite and further increased the difference in hydrophilicity between sphalerite and ***,sulfite ions were chelated with lead ions to form PbSO_(3)in *** hydrophilic PbSO_(3)was more easily adsorbed on sphalerite than *** interaction between sulfite ions and lead ions could effectively inhibit the activation of *** addition the UV spectrum showed that after adding sulfite ions,the peak of perxanthate in the sphalerite treated xanthate solution was significantly stronger than that in the galena with xanthate solution,indicating that xanthate interacted more readily with sulfite ions and oxygen mo lecules within the sphalerite system,leading to the formation of ***,sulfite ions hardly depressed the flotation of ga lena and could promote the flotation of galena to some *** study deepened the understanding of the depression mechanism o sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite.

A mild, configurable, flexible CoNi-LDH（v）/Zn battery based on H-vacancy-induced reversible Zn2+ intercalation

Infiltration by monocytes of the central nervous system and its role in multiple sclerosis: reflections on therapeutic strategies

Mononuclear macrophage infiltration in the central nervous system is a prominent feature of neuroinflammation. Recent studies on the pathogenesis and progression of multiple sclerosis have highlighted the multiple roles of mononuclear macrophages in the neuroinflammatory process. Monocytes play a significant role in neuroinflammation, and managing neuroinflammation by manipulating peripheral monocytes stands out as an effective strategy for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, leading to improved patient outcomes. This review outlines the steps involved in the entry of myeloid monocytes into the central nervous system that are targets for effective intervention: the activation of bone marrow hematopoiesis, migration of monocytes in the blood, and penetration of the blood–brain barrier by monocytes. Finally, we summarize the different monocyte subpopulations and their effects on the central nervous system based on phenotypic differences. As activated microglia resemble monocyte-derived macrophages, it is important to accurately identify the role of monocyte-derived macrophages in disease. Depending on the roles played by monocyte-derived macrophages at different stages of the disease, several of these processes can be interrupted to limit neuroinflammation and improve patient prognosis. Here, we discuss possible strategies to target monocytes in neurological diseases, focusing on three key aspects of monocyte infiltration into the central nervous system, to provide new ideas for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

Enhancement of motor functional recovery in thoracic spinal cord injury: voluntary wheel running versus forced treadmill exercise

Spinal cord injury necessitates effective rehabilitation strategies, with exercise therapies showing promise in promoting recovery. This study investigated the impact of rehabilitation exercise on functional recovery and morphological changes following thoracic contusive spinal cord injury. After a 7-day recovery period after spinal cord injury, mice were assigned to either a trained group(10 weeks of voluntary running wheel or forced treadmill exercise) or an untrained group. Bi-weekly assessments revealed that the exercise-trained group, particularly the voluntary wheel exercise subgroup, displayed significantly improved locomotor recovery, more plasticity of dopaminergic and serotonin modulation compared with the untrained group. Additionally, exercise interventions led to gait pattern restoration and enhanced transcranial magnetic motor-evoked potentials. Despite consistent injury areas across groups, exercise training promoted terminal innervation of descending axons. In summary, voluntary wheel exercise shows promise for enhancing outcomes after thoracic contusive spinal cord injury, emphasizing the role of exercise modality in promoting recovery and morphological changes in spinal cord injuries. Our findings will influence future strategies for rehabilitation exercises, restoring functional movement after spinal cord injury.
