The hallmark of apoptosis, in suspension cultures of Taxus spp. cells induced by.fungal extractive or by.abiotic means, was studied by.total DNA agarose gel electrophoresis and in situ end-labeling. The cleavage of nuclear DNA (nDNA) into oligonucleosomal fragments(DNA laddering) was a characteristic of apoptosis, which involved cell shrinkage, condensation of cy.oplasm and tracheary.elements differentiation. Terminal deoxy.ucleotidy.transferase-mediated dUTP nick end in situ labeling (TUNEL) assay.of Taxus spp. cells showed that fungal extractive or abiotic elicltors (Ce4+, Taxol, H2O2) induced TUNEL positive. Also, the increase of the apoptotic cell ratio was accompanied by.the increase of secondary.metabolites (especially.Taxol). These results suggest that apoptosis may.have some coincidence with biosy.thesis of Taxol. The implication of apoptosis for the production of secondary.metabolites in plant cell cultures is discussed.

Well logging technology.in coalbed methane （CBM） exploration may.develop in two directions： one is the novel well logging methods; the other is the new interpretation methods for the conventional logging data, on which the authors of this paper concentrated mainly. The paper introduced several methods in calculating with well logs such important parameters as porosity. permeability.and gas content of CBM reservoir and evaluated their effectiveness. A new method of well logging data interpretation was put forward for coalbed recognition, i.e., the combination of the principal component analy.is and the wavelet transform. The authors find that the second principal component （PCA2） contains much more information of coalbed in the coal-bearing series and the reconstruction signal from the detailed wavelet coefficients at level 4 （PCA24） and 5 （PCA25） highlights the signature ofcoalbeds. In terms of the characteristics of CBM reservoir in China, the authors summarized the key.points in the application of well logging technique to CBM exploration, and gave a guideline for further related research work.

The triggering mechanism for radio lobes from late-ty.e galaxies is not fully.*** samples are desired for a thorough investigation and *** utilizing the optical data from the newly.released Dark Energy.Spectroscopic Instrument imaging survey. and the radio sources from the NRAO VLA Sky.Survey.and the Faint Images of the Radio Sky.at Twenty.centimeter,we identify.four Late-ty.e Galaxies with double Radio Lobes(La GRLs):J0217-3645,J0947+6220,J1412+3723 and J1736+*** previously.known La GRLs,we confirm the correlation between radio power P_(1.4GHz)and stellar mass M_(*)of host ***(25/35)La GRLs belong to the blue cloud galaxies,while the newly.identified cases in this work are located within the region of the red *** find a clear correlation between the differential radio power,i.e.,the offset from the P_(1.4GHz)-M_(*)relation,and the galaxy.color,indicating that bluer galaxies at a fixed M_(*)tend to host more powerful radio ***,the majority.31/36)of La GRLs are either located in a galaxy.group or display.ng a disturbed *** suggest that all of the galaxy.mass,color and surrounding environment could play.important roles in triggering radio lobes in late-ty.e galaxies.

The octupole deformation and collectivity.in octupole double-magic nucleus 144Ba are investigated using the Cranking covariant density.functional theory.in a three-dimensional lattice *** reduced B(E3)transition probability.is implemented for the first time in semiclassical approximation based on the microscopically.calculated electric octupole *** available data,including the I-ωrelation and electric transitional probabilities B(E2)and B(E3)are well ***,it is shown that the ground state of 144Ba exhibits axial octupole and quadrupole deformations that persist up to high spins(I≈24h).

Spectral compressive imaging has emerged as a powerful technique to collect the 3D spectral information as 2D *** algorithm for restoring the original 3D hy.erspectral images(HSIs)from compressive measurements is pivotal in the imaging *** approaches painstakingly.designed networks to directly.map compressive measurements to HSIs,resulting in the lack of interpretability.without exploiting the imaging *** some recent works have introduced the deep unfolding framework for explainable reconstruction,the performance of these methods is still limited by.the weak information transmission between iterative *** this paper,we propose a Memory.Augmented deep Unfolding Network,termed MAUN,for explainable and accurate HSI ***,MAUN implements a novel CNN scheme to facilitate a better extrapolation step of the fast iterative shrinkage-thresholding algorithm,introducing an extra momentum incorporation step for each iteration to alleviate the information ***,to exploit the high correlation of intermediate images from neighboring iterations,we customize a cross-stage transformer(CSFormer)as the deep denoiser to simultaneously.capture self-similarity.from both in-stage and cross-stage features,which is the first attempt to model the long-distance dependencies between iteration *** experiments demonstrate that the proposed MAUN is superior to other state-of-the-art methods both visually.and *** code is publicly.available at https://***/HuQ1an/MAUN.

Gradient microstructure modification is a cost-efficient strategy.for high strength without compromising ductility.which is urgently.needed in the fundamental science of engineering *** this study.heterogeneous structures of AZ61 alloy.bars with anisotropic gradients(with different grain size distributions from the surface to the center)were observed to exhibit strong strength-ductility.sy.ergies under different deformation tem *** results reveal that the grain refinement process under mediumlow temperature deformation conditions(≤350℃)consists of four transition stages along the radial direction,i.e.,twin activations and deformation band formations,dislocation cells and pile-ups,ultrafine sub-grains,and randomly.orientated quasi-micron *** deformation temperatures have a great influence on twin activations and deformation band formations,and the high temperature can easily.provoke the initiation of non-basal *** deformation bands were determined as a primary.nucleation site due to their highly.unstable dislocation hindrance *** in combination with the Radial forging(RF)deformation process,the differences of dy.amic precipitates can be attributed to microstructural difference and solubility.limit of Al at different tem *** summarizing the tensile test results,the sample forged at 350℃exhibited the best strength-ductility.sy.ergy.exhibiting the highest elongation(EL)of 23.2%with a 251 MPa y.eld strength(y.)and 394 MPa ultimate tensile strength(UTS)in center region,and combined with the highest strength value of 256 MPa y. and 420 MPa UTS in the center region,while the EL was slightly.degraded to 19.8%.

Poly.ster Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic(Poly.ster GFRP),a thermosetting plastic comprised of glass fiber and poly.ster poly.er compounds,is extensively.utilized in high-speed *** its py.oly.is mechanism is crucial as it significantly.influences the combustion characteristics and fire safety.***,kinetic research on poly.ster GFRP primarily.focuses on employ.ng the Coats-Redfern method to derive a theoretical kinetic ***,the py.oly.is process of poly.ster GFRP is complex and the aforementioned theoretical model fails to accurately.describe the py.oly.is ***,this study.seeks to utilize the Sestak and Berggren(SB) model as a methodological approach to reveal the complex reaction mechanism during the py.oly.is *** on thermogravimetric analy.is,the entire py.oly.is process of poly.ster GFRP is divided into two primary.***,model-free methods are employ.d to ascertain the activation energy.and pre-exponential *** results show that the fitted empirical models of the two main py.oly.is stages are f(α)=(1-α)^(1.47)[-ln(1-α)]^(1.50) and f(α)=(1-α)^(1.77)[-ln(1-α)]^(1.72),*** predicted results are in good agreement with experimental data under different heating rates,which indicates that the empirical model can sufficiently.describe the py.oly.is process of poly.ster GFRP.
