Indoor environment quality(IEQ)is one of the most concerned building performances during the operation *** non-uniform spatial distribution of various IEQ parameters in large-scale public buildings has been demonstrated to be an essential factor affecting occupant comfort and building energy ***,IEQ sensors have been widely employed in buildings to monitor thermal,visual,acoustic and air ***,there is a lack of effective methods for exploring the typical spatial distribution of indoor environmental quality parameters,which is crucial for assessing and controlling non-uniform indoor *** this study,a novel clustering method for extracting IEQ spatial distribution patterns is ***,representation vectors reflecting IEQ distributions in the concerned space are generated based on the low-rank sparse ***,a multi-step clustering method,which addressed the problems of the“curse of dimensionality”,is designed to obtain typical IEQ distribution patterns of the entire indoor *** proposed method was applied to the analysis of indoor thermal environment in Beijing Daxing international airport *** a result,four typical temperature spatial distribution patterns of the terminal were extracted from a four-month monitoring,which had been validated for their good *** typical patterns revealed typical environmental issues in the terminal,such as long-term localized overheating and temperature increases due to a sudden influx of *** extracted typical IEQ spatial distribution patterns could assist building operators in effectively assessing the uneven distribution of IEQ space under current environmental conditions,facilitating targeted environmental improvements,optimization of thermal comfort levels,and application of energy-saving measures.

Damaged structures on coral islands have been spalling and cracking due to the dual corrosion of tides and *** ensure easy access to aggregate materials,magnesium potassium phosphate cement(MKPC)and coral sand(CS)are mixed to repair damaged structures on coral ***,CS is significantly different from land-sourced sand in mineral composition,particle morphology,and *** has a substantial impact on the hydration characteristics and macroscopic properties of MKPC ***,in this study we investigated the compressive strength,interfacial mechanical properties,and corrosion resistance of MKPC CS *** in the morphology,microstructure,and relative contents of hydration products were revealed by scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive spectrometer(SEM-EDS)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results indicated that the compressive strength increased linearly with the interfacial micro-hardness,and then stabilized after long-term immersion in pure water and Na2SO4 solution,showing excellent corrosion *** with MKPC river sand(RS)mortar,the hydration products of CS mortar were an intermediate product 6KPO2·8H2O with a relative content of 3.9%at 1 h and 4.1%at 12 *** hydration product MgKPO_(4)·6H_(2)O increased rapidly after 7-d curing,with an increased growth rate of 1100%.Our results showed that CS promoted the nucleation and formation of hydration products of MKPC,resulting in better crystallinity,tighter overlapping,and a denser interfacial transition *** results of this study provide technical support for applying MKPC mortar as a rapid repair material for damaged structures on coral islands.

Nickel-based materials,including metallic Ni and Ni oxide,have been widely studied in the exploration of non-precious-metal hydrogen electrocatalysts,but neither pure Ni nor NiO is ideal for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR).In this paper,an oxygen insertion strategy was applied on nickel to regulate its hydrogen electrocatalytic performance,and the oxygen-inserted nickel catalyst was successfully obtained with the assistance of tungsten dioxide support(denoted as O-Ni/WO_(2)).The partial insertion of oxygen in Ni maintains the face-centered cubic arrangement of Ni atoms,simultaneously expanding the lattice and increasing the lattice ***,the adsorption strength of^(*)H and^(*)OH on Ni is optimized,thus resulting in superior electrocatalytic performance of0-Ni/WO_(2)in alkaline HER/*** Tafel slope of O-Ni/WO_(2)@NF for HER is 56 mV dec^(-1),and the kinetic current density of O-Ni/WO_(2)for HOR reaches 4.85 mA cm^(-2),which is ahead of most currently reported *** proposed strategy of inserting an appropriate amount of anions into the metal lattice could provide more possibilities for the design of high-performance catalysts.

To reduce CO_(2) emissions in response to global climate change,shale reservoirs could be ideal candidates for long-term carbon geo-sequestration involving multi-scale transport ***,most current CO_(2) sequestration models do not adequately consider multiple transport ***,the evaluation of CO_(2) storage processes usually involves laborious and time-consuming numerical simulations unsuitable for practical prediction and *** this paper,an integrated model involving gas diffusion,adsorption,dissolution,slip flow,and Darcy flow is proposed to accurately characterize CO_(2) storage in depleted shale reservoirs,supporting the establishment of a training *** this basis,a hybrid physics-informed data-driven neural network(HPDNN)is developed as a deep learning surrogate for prediction and *** incorporating multiple sources of scientific knowledge,the HPDNN can be configured with limited simulation resources,significantly accelerating the forward and inversion ***,the HPDNN can more intelligently predict injection performance,precisely perform reservoir parameter inversion,and reasonably evaluate the CO_(2) storage capacity under complicated *** validation and test results demonstrate that the HPDNN can ensure high accuracy and strong robustness across an extensive applicability range when dealing with field data with multiple noise *** study has tremendous potential to replace traditional modeling tools for predicting and making decisions about CO_(2) storage projects in depleted shale reservoirs.

Understanding the paleoenvironment and phytogeographical history of the Tibetan Plateau,China relies on discovering new plant *** Qaidam Basin has long been regarded as an ideal‘field laboratory’to investigate the paleoclimate and paleobiological evolution of the northern Tibetan ***,fossil angiosperms from the Qaidam Basin are rare,and our knowledge of its paleovegetation is ***,we report fossil leaves and fruits of Betulaceae found from the Oligocene Shangganchaigou Formation of northwestern Qaidam Basin(Huatugou area).Comparative morphological analysis led us to assign the fruits to the Betula subgenus Betula and the leaves to Carpinus *** findings,together with other reported fossil plants from the same locality,reveal a close floristic linkage between the Qaidam Basin and Europe during the *** northern pathway of this floristic exchange may have crossed through the Qaidam Basin during the late *** floristic linkage may have been facilitated by the continuous narrowing of the Turgai Strait and stronger westerlies,which transported moisture and provided favorable climatic ***,fossil plants collected from the Qaidam Basin suggest that during the Oligocene this region had warm and humid deciduous broad-leaf forest,which differs from the region’s modern vegetation and indicates that the Qaidam Basin may have been a suitable region for these plants to flourish and spread during the Oligocene.

As one of the most common spatial light modulators,linear micromirror arrays(MMAs)based on microelectromechanical system(MEMS)processes are currently utilized in many ***,two crucial challenges exist in the fabrication of such devices:the adhesion of silicon microstructures caused by anodic bonding and the destruction of the suspended silicon film due to residual *** solve these issues,an innovative processing method assisted by temporary anchors is *** approach effectively reduces the span of silicon microstructures and improves the Euler buckling limit of the silicon ***,these temporary anchors are strategically placed within the primary etching areas,enabling easy removal without additional processing *** a result,we successfully achieved wafer-level,high-yield manufacturing of linear MMAs with a filling factor as high as 95.1%.demonstrating superior capabilities to those of original MMAs,our enhanced version boasts a total of 60 linear micromirror elements,each featuring a length-to-width ratio of 52.6,and the entire optical aperture measures 5 mm×6 *** linear MMA exhibits an optical deflection angle of 20.4°at 110 Vdc while maintaining exceptional deflection flatness and *** study offers a viable approach for the design and fabrication of thin-film MEMS devices with high yields,and the proposed MMA is promising as a replacement for digital micromirror devices(DMDs,by TI Corp.)in fields such as spectral imaging and optical communication.

Tumor necrosis factorα(TNFα)exhibits diverse biological functions;however,its regulatory roles in myogenesis are not fully *** the present study,we explored the function of TNFαin myoblast proliferation,differentiation,migration,and myotube fusion in primary myoblasts and C2C12 *** this end,we constructed TNFαmuscle-conditional knockout(TNFα-CKO)mice and compared them with flox mice to assess the effects of TNFαknockout on skeletal *** indicated that TNFα-CKO mice displayed phenotypes such as accelerated muscle development,enhanced regenerative capacity,and improved exercise endurance compared to flox mice,with no significant differences observed in major visceral organs or skeletal *** label-free proteomic analysis,we found that TNFα-CKO altered the distribution of several muscle development-related proteins,such as Hira,Casz1,Casp7,Arhgap10,Gas1,Diaph1,Map3k20,Cfl2,and Igf2,in the nucleus and *** set enrichment analysis(GSEA)further revealed that TNFαdeficiency resulted in positive enrichment in oxidative phosphorylation and MyoD targets and negative enrichment in JAK-STAT *** findings suggest that TNFα-CKO positively regulates muscle growth and development,possibly via these newly identified targets and pathways.

As a typical candidate of optoelectronic materials,vanadium dioxide(VO_(2))has wide applications in photodetectors(PDs),but is still challenging in largely enhancing the photodetecting performance for low-power human ***,high-performance Si/VO_(2)nanorods(NRs)heterojunction PDs based on the photothermoelectric(PTE)effect are *** uniform VO_(2)-NRs array films were deposited on Si by using magnetron sputtering technique,and a Si/VO_(2)heterojunctions were *** device exhibits a four-stage photoresponse and broadband photoresponse from ultraviolet to long-wavelength *** from the unique nanorods structure and the strong PTE effect,the fabricated device exhibits a large enhancement of the photodetecting performance,showing an ultrahigh photodetectivity of 1.6×10^(13)Jones and ultrafast response rates with a risingedge time of~65.0μs,three orders of magnitude higher than other VO_(2)-based ***,the device exhibits unique abilities to detect human radiation even when the human fingers are far away from the device surface up to 10.0 ***,the fabricated Si/VO_(2)devices can also be applied as breath sensors to distinguish different breathing *** results supply an effective route to design high-performance photodetectors toward detecting human thermal radiation and respiration.
