含碳掺氨燃料的研究进展

随着经济和社会的发展,国家对能源的需求量越来越大,这与化石能源短缺、环境污染、温室效应等问题相矛盾,因此寻找高效清洁的替代燃料势在必行。氨的体积能量密度较高、成本低且完全燃烧时产物的污染性小,具有成为新时代绿色能源的潜力。但它的燃烧性能较差,通常需要掺混煤、CH_(4)和合成气等燃料来改善。本文主要介绍了含碳掺氨的煤掺氨和甲烷掺氨混合燃料在基础燃烧特性和燃烧应用优化方面的研究进展。总结了不同燃烧策略及燃烧器设计中掺混氨燃料的燃烧特性和排放规律,为未来工业化应用研究提供一定的参考。但在实际应用氨燃料过程中仍存在不少挑战,未来可进一步对优化分级燃烧的策略、改善相关燃烧设备的结构、调整含氨燃料的喷射方式等方面进行研究,以实现高效低污染氨燃料的应用目标。

The present study investigates the changes in the interaction between the tapping-force and the resulting angular-speed of the knee as the impact location is *** tapping force is measured with a force sensor mounted on the hammer and the resulting angular speed of the knee joint is calculated using the data obtained with a tri-axial accelerometer fixed at the ankle of the human *** the data taken at six different spots on the tendon location,which are separated vertically with an equal distance,it is concluded that the Upper-Area of Tendon（UAT）and Center-Area of Tendon（CAT）areas are suited for eliciting tendon *** result has long been known by many medical doctors from experiences,without scientific *** information is useful in the design of the Patellar-Tendon-Reflex simulator,which assimilates the lower-leg motion in response to the tapping force applied at the load that acts as a human tendon.

新疆马鹿(Cervus elaphus)有3个亚种(塔里木亚种C. e . yarkandensis、天山亚种C. e . songaricus和阿勒泰亚种C. e . sibiricus)。本文报道新疆马鹿3个亚种头骨形态学特征描述和14项形态学指标测定。被测定的指标主要有颅全长(GLC)、颜面长(FL)、鼻骨全长(GLN)、前头长( MFL)、眼窝长(OFW)、基底全长(CBL)、口盖最大幅(GPB)、前臼齿间距离(Pm-P)、眼间最小幅(ZB)、筋突起高(CH)、关筋突起高(LH)、牙齿间隙裂高(DH)、前下颚骨高(HMP2)、后下颚骨高(HMM3) ,采用主成分分析并在这3个亚种之间进行了比较。结果表明: 1)阿勒泰亚种的头骨长度和高度值比塔里木亚种大,宽度值比塔里木亚种小; 2)天山亚种的头骨大小一般处在塔里木亚种和阿勒泰亚种的中间,但三者之间没有显著性差异; 3)阿勒泰亚种和天山亚种的头骨形态测量数据比较接近,塔里木亚种的头骨形态比较特殊(塔里木亚种的头骨短而宽,明显区别于其他两亚种的特征)。在新疆导致马鹿3个亚种头骨形态差异的主要因素有栖息地环境和气候因素的差异。阿勒泰亚种和天山亚种栖息在大陆性气候寒冷区的针叶林中,冬天气候比较寒冷;塔里木亚种栖息在大陆性气候温热区的塔里木河流域胡杨林中,气候干旱炎热。因此,阿勒泰和天山亚种在适应寒冷的气候并适应生软食物的食性过程中头骨变成长细,而塔里木亚种长期适应干旱炎热并适应生硬食物的食性使头骨变的短而宽。

Case of gastric neuroendocrine carcinoma showing an interesting tumorigenic pathway

Here, we report a case of gastric neuroendocrine carcinoma showing an interesting tumorigenic pathway. A 57-year-old Japanese woman presented with epigastric tenderness, and distal gastrectomy was performed. In the surgical specimen, histologically, the tumor tissue was composed of three subtypes of tumor components showing different histological architecture and cellular atypia, diagnosed as neuroendocrine tumor(NET) G2, NET G3, and neuroendocrine carcinoma(NEC) components. Immunohistochemically, the Ki-67-positive rates of NET G2, NET G3, and NEC components were 6.5%, 99.5% and 88.1%, respectively. Although allelic imbalance(AI) on chromosomes 1p, 3p, 8q, TP53, 18q and 22 q was commonly found in all components, AI of 4p was found in NET G3 and NEC components(but not in the NET G2 component). In contrast, AIs of 5q and 9p were found in only the NEC component. Thus, we showed the progression from NET G2 to NEC, via NET G3, within the same tumor.

Study of Corrosion on Film Properties of High Strength Cu-Sn-Zr Alloys in Tap Water

Corrosion has been reported to occur in the copper tubes of heat ex-changers in multiple-circulation hot water supply systems. We have been investigating the applicability of high-strength Cu-0.65 mass% Sn-0.014 mass% Zr-0.020 mass% P alloy to counteract this corrosion. Immersion tests, electrochemical measurements, and field tests were performed. Excellent corrosion resistance of the alloy was established under conditions with flowing water due to the formation of composite films containing tin. The alloy is expected to be better than copper as a corrosion-resistant material for heat exchanger tubes.

Myosin Heavy Chain Expression and Oxidative Modifications in Diabetic Rat Hearts

In this study, we tested the hypotheses that 1) diabetes-induced disturbances in cardiac my-ATPase activity would be attributed to not only myosin heavy chain (MHC) isoform transitions, but also reduced amounts in MHC protein;and 2) if diabetes results in declines in the MHC protein content, this change would relate to oxidative damage to MHC. Diabetes was induced by a single intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin. After 6 weeks of injection, the left ventricles were excised for mechanical and biochemical analyses. Peak twitch tension and the rate of force development in papillary muscles were decreased by 23.4% and 34.1%, respectively. A 33.5% reduction in myofibrillar ATPase activity occurred in conjunction with a 9.5% decrease in MHC protein as well as MHC isoform transitions towards a slower phenotype. The decreased MHC content was not accompanied by elevations in carbonyl groups present in MHC. Whole muscle analyses indicated that the contents of malondialdehyde and reduced glutathione were elevated. These results suggest that decreases in the MHC content may be associated, at least in part, with a diabetes-related inactivation of cardiac my-ATPase and may not be due to accumulation of oxidative damage to protein.

Evaluation of xerostomia closely associated with systemic diseases using a dental approach

Based on the findings of epidemiological surveys in western countries, the number of person with suspected xerostomia in Japan is estimated to be 30,000,000. Xerostomia is caused by: 1) Systemic diseases;2) Medications;3) Tumors or trauma;4) Radiotherapy;and 5) Neurological factors. Its symptoms can be alleviated, and its progression can be stopped by close cooperation between the dental and medical departments. However, at present, symptomatic treatment methods such as water drinking, oral rinsing with water, and administration of Kampo medicines or parasymptomimetic drugs are mainly used, and a standard treatment has not been established. On the other hand, previous studies on xerostomia have reported improvement in dry mouth symptoms using dental approaches or a relationship between the development of candidiasis and the salivary flow rate. Therefore, in this study, to establish a dental method useful for improving xerostomia associated with systemic diseases and medications for them, we restored occlusal function, and as a result, increased the salivary flow rate, and evaluated changes in oral findings.

We developed a novel rapid hygrothermal pasteurization (RHP) method using saturated water vapor with a dew point of 100℃. The aim of this paper is to compare the effect of RHP treatment versus conventional sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) treatments on inactivation of natural mesophilic bacteria and quality attributes on fruits and vegetables. The RHP treatment was performed within a second by free-falling samples (cabbage, cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, pineapple and melon) through cylindrical processing chamber filled with steam. NaClO treatment was performed by washing samples with NaClO solution (100 mg/mL of free chlorine (pH 7), for 1 min). The RHP treatment showed a significantly higher inactivation effect than NaClO treatment on all tested samples. The RHP treatment had a slightly larger influence on color and vitamin C content than NaClO treatment in cabbage. Furthermore, the effects of treatment time and operated temperature were also determined using microbial model system. Elongation of treatment time did not significantly increase the microbial inactivation effect. Lowering of operated temperature by mixing air into steam tended to decrease the inactivation effect. From these results, RHP treatment could be used as an alternative method for decontaminating microorganisms on fruits and vegetables, except on leafy vegetable. In addition, it is suggested that microbial inactivation by RHP treatment was achieved through the initial condensation stage of water vapor on sample surface. By contrast, interfusion of air disturbed the effective condensation of water vapor.

Evaluation of Performance of Thermal and Electrical Hybrid Adsorption Chiller Cycles with Mechanical Booster Pumps

Large amounts of waste heat below 100oC from the industrial sector are re-leased into the atmosphere. It has been suggested that energy system efficiency can be increased with adsorption chillers. However, the cooling power and coefficient of performance (COP) of conventional adsorption chillers significantly decrease with the desorption temperature. In this paper, we proposed a mechanical booster pump (MBP)-assisted adsorption chiller cycle, and evaluated its performances. In the cycle, a MBP was incorporated into a zeolite-water-type adsorption chiller for facilitating water vapor transportation between an adsorber and an evaporator/condenser. We have experimentally studied the effect of the input electrical power of MBP on the performances of adsorption chiller cycle. It has been demonstrated that the heat input achieved by using MBP at the desorption temperature of 50oC was 1.6 times higher than that of without MBP at the desorption temperature of 60oC. And the increase of pump power was found to be effective in increasing the heat input. Therefore, it was confirmed that the operation range of desorption temperature, which can be generated by using the waste heat, was extended and the cooling power was increased directly by using MBP.
