Mechanistic insights into the selective hydrogenation of resorcinol to 1,3-cyclohexanedione over Pd/rGO catalyst through DFT calculation

In our previous work, graphene-supported Pd catalyst(Pd/rGO) exhibited higher activity and selectivity for the liquid phase selective hydrogenation of resorcinol to 1,3-cyclohexanedione compared with other catalysts. In the present study, further experimental and theoretical investigations were conducted to reveal the reaction mechanism and the catalytic mechanism of Pd/rGO for resorcinol hydrogenation. The effects of graphene nanosheet and the solvent on the reaction were investigated, and the pathway for resorcinol hydrogenation was proposed supported by density functional theory(DFT) calculations. The results showed that the excellent selectivity of Pd/rGO to 1,3-cyclohexanedione was attributed to the strong π–π and p–π interactions between the graphene nanosheet and the benzene ring as well as hydroxyl in resorcinol molecule, which was in agreement with our previous speculation. In weak polar aprotic solvents, solvation free energy had less impact to the π–π and p–π interactions mentioned above. In strong polar aprotic solvents and polar protic solvents,however, the influence of solvation free energy was much greater, which led to the decrease in the conversion of resorcinol and the selectivity to 1,3-cyclohexanedione.

Medical cotton dressing is cheap and widely used in diversified fields,but in the application of promoting wound healing,the continuous research of multifunctional medical cotton dressing is still of great ***,we developed a fresh type of antibacterial cotton dressing through a succinct strategy based on chemically anchoring polyhexamethylene biguanide(PHMB).Intriguingly,after PHMB modification,the cotton dressing exhibited outstanding antibacterial performance which could maintain>99.99%antibacterial rate after several treatments,including washing 50 times,repeated use 10 times,UV irradiation for 7 days,cationic dyes dying,and conditioned under 90℃water bath for 2 *** addition,the water contact angle of cotton dressing increased dramatically from 0°to 111°,which could facilitate bacterial adhesion,thus further enhance the antibacterial efficiency,and easily remove the bacterial *** from that,the developed cotton dressing showed good cytocompatibility,promoted blood clotting and expression of platelets,and promoted the wound healing process in the infection intervened skin wound *** together,this antibacterial cotton dressing with desirable blood clotting,sustained protection against bacterial infection and bacterial removal features shows the potential to be a candidate for infected skin wound healing.

北半球中高纬植被聚集指数遥感产品长时间序列变化特征的案例研究

植被聚集指数(clumping index,CI(Ω))是表征植被冠层聚集程度的重要结构参数,由于其定量化研究起步较晚,导致对CI季相变化特征的研究不充分,结论争议较大.为此,本文基于长时间序列的MODIS CI产品,从北半球中高纬度植被物候特征敏感区,在13个国际地圈-生物圈计划(IGBP)类型中,优选了84个高质量的代表性像元,开展典型像元CI季相变化特征的案例研究.以归一化植被指数(normalized difference vegetation index,NDVI)作为对比,提出改进的动态阈值法,结合离散Fourier变换方法,分别提取不同地类的生长季开始时间(start of season,SOS)及生长季结束时间(end of season,EOS),最终建立北半球中高纬度各地类生长季与休眠期的经验Ω.结果表明:CI具有较为明显的物候变化规律及季节变化特征,甚至能够识别出耕地的一年两熟迹象,但相对于NDVI相对稳定的季相变化特征,大部分地类的CI表现出较大的变化和不确定性,其中,SOS和EOS多分别在第100和第300天左右变化,生长季则多维持在200d左右;提取物候特征参数的最佳阈值随提取时期、地物类别的变化而变化,其中提取SOS和EOS的最佳阈值多集中在40%~80%和80%~90%;经验Ω呈现出针叶林的聚集效应最强,耕地的聚集效应最弱的特征.本研究对于揭示不同地类CI季相特征及相关应用研究提供了有用的证据和参考.

我国的生态文明建设正面临着"国土空间规划"的转折期。以生态文明为导向,融合城乡绿地协同发展,建立高品质的城乡绿色空间已成为当下亟待探索的课题之一。论文以武汉市市域绿色空间为研究对象,以遥感影像及相关上位规划作为基础数据,结合生态敏感性"功能性"评价与MSPA"结构性"识别方法筛选"绿源"和"绿斑",通过生态耗费成本面的最小成本路径分析方法确定"绿径",探索以生态健康为导向的"源—径—斑"市域绿色网络建构,形成武汉市"绿源四方分布、绿径两环相扣、绿斑多地镶嵌"市域绿色网络体系。研究结果可为武汉市市域绿色网络空间优化提供参考,为我国城乡统筹背景下的市域绿色空间构建给予启示和借鉴。

A novel manganese complex LMnAc selectively kills cancer cells by induction of ROS-triggered and mitochondrial-mediated cell death

We previously identified a novel synthesized metal compound, LMnAc （[L2Mn2（Ac）（H20）e]（Ac）（L=bis（2-pyridylmethyl） amino-2-propionic acid））. This compound exhibited significant inhibition on cancer cell proliferation and was more selective against cancer cells than was the popular chemotherapeutic reagent cisplatin. In this study, we further investigated the underlying molecular mechanisms of LMnAc-induced cancer cell death. We found that LMnAc achieved its selectivity against cancer cells through the transferrin-transferrin receptor system, which is highly expressed in tumor cells. LMnAc triggered cancer cells to commit autophagy and apoptosis, which was mediated by the mitochondrial pathway. Moreover, LMnAc disrupted mitochondrial function, resulting in mitochondrial membrane potential collapse and ATP reduction. In addition, LMnAc induced intracellular Ca^2＋ overload and reactive oxygen species generation. Interestingly, its anticancer effect was significantly reduced following pretreatment with the antioxidant N-acetyl cysteine, indicating that reactive oxygen species triggered cell death. Altogether, our data suggest that LMnAc appears to be a selectively promising anticancer drug candidate.

In this paper, we present the first evidence of differences in the mitochondria-related gene expression profiles of adult articular cartilage derived from patients with Kashin-Beck disease and normal controls. The expression of 705 mitochondria-related genes was analyzed by mitochondria-related gene expression analysis and ingenuity pathways analysis. Mitochondria-related gene expression analysis identified 9 up-regulated genes in Kashin-Beck disease based on their average expression ratio. Three canonical pathways involved in oxidative phosphorylation, apoptosis signaling and pyruvate metabolism were identified, which indicate the involvement of mitochondrial dysfunction in the pathogenesis of Kashin-Beck disease.

锅炉管道能否安全运行,与其横向性能的优劣有较大关系,有必要对管道的横纵性能差异进行分析。对存在带状组织的锅炉再热蒸汽冷段管道用钢A672B70CL32进行了横向和纵向力学性能及显微的对比分析。结果表明,钢管横纵向力学性能的差异主要表现为横向冲击韧性的降低,而横纵向强度和塑性基本无差异,这与钢管中非金属夹杂物含量较低及钢管轧制成形工艺导致横向也产生了交叉的带状组织有关。

四川典型水域表层水体抗生素残留特征与风险评估

为评价四川4个典型湖泊/水库的抗生素残留特征及相关风险等级,采用超高液相色谱-串联质谱仪对水体中15种抗生素的残留水平进行测定,并通过熵值法和蒙特卡洛法对残留抗生素进行风险评估。结果显示:4个水体样本共检出14种抗生素,以兽用抗生为主,其中四环素浓度最高。黑龙滩水库抗生素残留水平较高,且存在高选择性耐药风险,其他3地抗生素残留水平与国内部分湖泊河流相比处于普通水平,且选择性耐药风险水平低;4个水体监测点均存在高环境风险。成人、儿童经饮水途径摄入抗生素的累积健康风险指数在9.5×10^-5~4.03×10^-3之间,且儿童要高于成人。4个典型水域兽用抗生素残留量与检出率相对较高,且环境风险水平较高。
