The effects of hypoxia on the invasion and the related protein expression of Hela cells and the role of hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)were *** Hela cells were divided into three groups,namely,H0(non-transfected Hela cells),H1(pGenesil-1 empty plasmid-transfected Hela cells),and H2(HIF-1α-shRNA plasmid-transfected Hela cells),and were cultured under hypoxia(1%O2)and normoxia for 48 *** expression of HIF-1α,E-cadherin,β-catenin,and actin was detected using Western *** scratch test and the invasion assay were applied to examine the invasion in each *** expression of HIF-1α,E-cadherin,andβ-catenin in tumor grafts was assayed *** blot results revealed that the bands of HIF-1α,E-cadherin,β-catenin,and actin proteins were detected in the H0 and H1 groups under hypoxia for 48 *** expression of E-cadherin,β-catenin,and actin was detected in the H2 group under hypoxia for 48 h,and *** the H0,H1,and H2 groups under normoxia,and the H2 group under hypoxia for 48 h,no expression of HIF-1αwas *** scratch test showed that the invasive ability in the H2 group was signiﬁcantly ***-cally,it was found that there was a signiﬁcant difference in the expression of HIF-1α,E-cadherin,andβ-catenin between the H1 and H2 groups(P<0.05),but the difference was not signiﬁcant between the H0 and H1 *** was concluded that the effects of hypoxia on the invasion of human cervical cancer Hela cells and the expression of related proteins(E-cadherin,β-catenin,and actin)depend on HIF-1α.

Projected Shifts in Kppen Climate Zones over China and Their Temporal Evolution in CMIP5 Multi-Model Simulations

Previous studies have examined the projected climate types in China by 2100. This study identified the emergence time of climate shifts at a 1 o scale over China from 1990 to 2100 and investigated the temporal evolution of Koppen-Geiger climate classifications computed from CMIP5 multi-model outputs. Climate shifts were detected in transition regions （7%-8% of China＇s land area） by 2010, including rapid replacement of mixed forest （Dwb） by deciduous forest （Dwa） over Northeast China, strong shrinkage of alpine climate type （ET） on the Tibetan Plateau, weak northward expansion of subtropical winter- dry climate （Cwa） over Southeast China, and contraction of oceanic climate （Cwb） in Southwest China. Under all future RCP （Representative Concentration Pathway） scenarios, the reduction of Dwb in Northeast China and ET on the Tibetan Plateau was projected to accelerate substantially during 2010-30, and half of the total area occupied by ET in 1990 was projected to be redistributed by 2040. Under the most severe scenario （RCP8.5）, sub-polar continental winter dry climate over Northeast China would disappear by 2040-50, ET on the Tibetan Plateau would disappear by 2070, and the climate types in 35.9% and 50.8% of China＇s land area would change by 2050 and 2100, respectively. The results presented in this paper indicate imperative impacts of anthropogenic climate change on China＇s ecoregions in future decades.

Quantification of coarse aggregate shape in concrete

The objective of this study is to choose indices for the characterization of aggregate form and angularity for large scale application. For this purpose, several parameters for aggregate form and angularity featured in previous research are presented. Then, based on these established parameters, 200 coarse quartzite aggregates are analyzed herein by using image processing technology. This paper also analyzes the statistical distributions of parameters for aggregate form and angularity as well as the correlation between form and angularity parameters. It was determined that the parameters for form or angularity of coarse aggregates could be fitted by either normal distribution or log-normal distribution at a 95% confidence level, Some of the form parameters were influenced by changes in angularity characteristics, while aspect ratio and angularity using outline slope, area ratio and radius angularity index, and aspect ratio and angularity index were independent of each other, respectively; and consequently, the independent parameters could be used to quantify the aggregate form and angularity for the purpose to study the influence of aggregate shape on the mechanical behavior of concrete. Furthermore, results from this study＇s in-depth investigations showed that the aspect ratio and the angularity index can further understanding of the effects of coarse aggregates form and angularity on concrete mechanical properties, respectively. Finally, coarse aggregates with the same content, type and surfaces texture, but different aspect ratios and angularity indices were used to study the influence of coarse aggregate form and angularity on the behavior of concrete. It was revealed that the splitting tensile strength of concrete increased with increases in the aspect ratio or angularity index of coarse aggregates.

Developing efficient and durable non-noble metal-based oxygen evolution catalysts is of great importance for electrochemical water ***,we report a new and facile strategy for controllable synthesis of high-valence Mo modified FeNiV oxides as efficient OER *** Mo-dopant displays a significant influence on the valence state of Fe species in the catalysts,which lead to tunable OER *** the feed ratio of Mo-dopant is 5%,the Mo-modified FeNiV oxide shows the best OER performance in terms of low overpotential(237 mV at the current density of 10 mA cm^(−2)),Tafel slope(38 mV per decade),and high mass activity,which exceeds its counterparts and most reported OER ***,by assembling the catalyst with a carbon fiber cloth,the fabricated water-splitting device exhibits excellent activity and longterm durability in alkaline electrolyte compared with commercial catalysts equipped *** work not only provides a series of Mo-modified FeNiV-based oxides as high-performance OER catalysts but also offers a new pathway to tune the charge states of OER active centers.

Through caching popular contents at the network edge,wireless edge caching can greatly reduce both the content request latency at mobile devices and the traffic burden at the core ***,popularity-based caching strategies are vulnerable to Cache Pollution Attacks(CPAs)due to the weak security protection at both edge nodes and mobile *** CPAs,through initiating a large number of requests for unpopular contents,malicious users can pollute the edge caching space and degrade the caching *** paper firstly integrates the dynamic nature of content request and mobile devices into the edge caching framework,and introduces an eavesdroppingbased CPA ***,an edge caching mechanism,which contains a Request Pattern Change-based Cache Pollution Detection(RPC2PD)algorithm and an Attack-aware Cache Defense(ACD)algorithm,is proposed to defend against *** results show that the proposed mechanism could effectively suppress the effects of CPAs on the caching performance and improve the cache hit ratio.

Temperature is an important environmental factor during the operation of gas‐insulated switchgear(GIS),affecting the evaluation results of the GIS equipment to increase the risk of the power ***,the influence of temperature on the partial discharge detection signal of GIS is still *** at the common void defects in GIS,the law of change on the number of ultrahigh‐frequency(UHF)pulses,the UHF amplitude,the characteristic value of the UHF map,and the maximum apparent charge of a single pulse with temperature are obtained using the UHF method and IEC60270,and corresponding theoretical analysis is carried *** results show that an increase in temperature leads to a decrease in the void discharge delay time,causing an increase in UHF pulses and a decrease in the apparent charge of a single discharge pulse in the *** in-crease of temperature makes the void discharge current rise quickly so that the induced UHF amplitude *** the range of 40-70℃,the maximum pulse amplitude in-creases by approximately 30%for every 10℃ increase,and the average pulse amplitude increases by approximately 12%.The result of UHF signals affected by temperature obtained in this study has research significance for the realisation of a comprehensive evaluation of the insulation state of GIS equipment considering temperature.
