Synthesis and photocatalytic performance of ZnO with flower-like structure from zinc oxide ore

Employing zinc sulfate solution obtained from zinc oxide ore as raw material,sodium hydroxide as precipitant and PEG20000 as dispersant,ultrafine ZnO powders with different morphologies were successfully synthesized through hydrothermal *** influences of the dosage of PEG20000 solution,molar ratio of OH-/Zn2+,reaction temperature,reaction time and Zn2+concentration on the structures and morphologies of the ZnO powders were discussed in *** reaction conditions of synthesizing ZnO powders with flower-like structure were obtained as below:dosage of PEG20000 with 10%mass fraction 5 mL,molar ratio of OH-to Zn2+5,reaction temperature 150℃,reaction time 8 h at Zn2+concentration1 mol *** growth mechanism of ZnO particles with different morphologies was *** ZnO powder with flower-like structure are composed of multiple micro-rods with hexagon morphology and has good photocatalytic degradation ability to degrade Rh B.20 mL Rh B solution with 15 mgL-1 could be completely degraded over flower-like ZnO powder 300 mg within 3 h.

The effects of basicities and equilibrium temperatures on the enrichment of chromium in different mineral phases of synthesized argon-oxygen decarburization slags were investigated to understand the Cr concentrating behavior into Mg(Cr,Al)2O4 spinel phase and to determine the leaching stability of Cr-containing *** results showed that when the basicity decreased from 1.0 to 0.6 and temperatures decreased from 1600 to 800℃,the Cr content of amorphous phase and crystalline phase gradually decreased,with a subsequent increase in the Cr content of spinel *** range of Cr enrichment in spinel of slags S1,S2,and S3 is 92.03-96.89,91.63-96.36,and 90.67-95.42,*** mass fraction and the size of spinel increased with the decreasing equilibrium temperatures,and the Cr leaching values decreased ***,the trend of the amount of Cr-related ions in the leachate was consistent with the trend of Cr in the amorphous phase,diopside,and *** results suggest that the lower basicity and equilibrium temperatures could be conducive to stabilizing Cr into spinel phase to minimize Cr leaching into the environment.

This paper proposes a backstepping technique and Multi-dimensional Taylor Polynomial Networks(MTPN)based adaptive attitude tracking control strategy for Near Space Vehicles(NSVs)subjected to input constraints and stochastic input ***,considering the control input has stochastic noises,and the attitude motion dynamical model of the NSVs is actually modeled as the Multi-Input Multi-Output(MIMO)stochastic nonlinear system ***,the MTPN is used to estimate the unknown system uncertainties,and an auxiliary system is designed to compensate the influence of the saturation control ***,by using backstepping method and the output of the auxiliary system,a MTPN-based robust adaptive attitude control approach is proposed for the NSVs with saturation input nonlinearity,stochastic input noises,and system *** Lyapunov stability theory is utilized to analysis the stability in the sense of probability of the entire closed-loop ***,by selecting appropriate parameters,the tracking errors will converge to a small neighborhood with a tunable ***,the numerical simulation results of the NSVs attitude motion show the satisfactory flight control performance under the proposed tracking control strategy.

High resolution optical satellite imageries containing the sun glitter,similar to synthetic aperture radar（SAR） imageries,are useful in identifying and mapping of bottom topography in shallow *** errors in the previous studies are corrected,and a method for mapping submarine bottom topography is developed using the sun glitter satellite *** method is established on the basis of empirical description of a sand wave using an equation with two unknowns named r and *** order to determine r and k,a ＂trial and error＂ approach is introduced and testified by a case study on the Taiwan Banks using an ASTER *** results show that the inversed water depths match well with the sounding water *** agreement between the inversed results and the in situ measurements is about 78% by comparing 371 ***,this method has the advantage in keeping the original appearance of a sand wave,especially in positions around the sand wave *** fine agreement indicates that the imaging model is flexible and the approach developed is feasible.

We analyzed the excited-state structures and emission spectra of firefly emitter, the anionic keto form of firefly oxyluciferin（keto-l）, determined by the time dependent-density functional theory（TD-DFT） approach. The analysis is based on a direct comparison with the highly correlated CASSCF（MS-CASPT2） ab initio approach. 49 DFT functionals were considered and applied to the study. Among the tested functionals, mPW3PBE, B3PW91 and B3P86 give the best performance for ground-state geometry, absorption spectrum, excited-state geometry and emis- sion spectrum.

Chemometric methods for extracting information from temperature-dependent near-infrared spectra

Temperature-dependent near-infrared(NIR) spectroscopy is a new technique for measuring the NIR spectra of a sample at different temperatures. Taking the advantage of the temperature effect, the technique has shown its potential in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. The technique has been proved to be powerful in determination of the analytes in complex samples,particularly in studying the functions of water in aqueous systems due to the significant effect of temperature on the NIR spectra of water. Because of the complicated interactions in the samples and the overlapping of the broad peaks in NIR spectra, it is difficult to extract the temperature-dependent information from the spectra. Chemometric methods, therefore, have been developed for improving the spectral resolution and extracting the temperature-induced spectral information. In this review, recent advances in the studies of chemometric methods and the applications in resolution, quantitative and structural analysis of temperature-dependent NIR spectra were summarized.
