Photodynamic therapy(PDT)is a promising cancer *** study investigated the antitumor effects and mechanisms of a novel photosensitizer meso-5-[ρ-diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid-aminophenyl]−10,15,20-triphenyl-porphyrin(DTP)mediated PDT(DTP-PDT).Cell viability,reactive oxygen species(ROS),and apoptosis were measured with a Cell Counting Kit-8 assay,DCFH-DA fluorescent probe,and Hoechst staining,*** apoptosis-and autophagy-related proteins were examined using western *** sequencing was used to screen differentially expressed mRNAs(DERs),and bioinformatic analysis was performed to identify the major biological events after *** results show that DTP-PDT inhibited cell growth and induced ROS generation in MCF-7 and SGC7901 *** ROS scavenger N-acetyl-L-cysteine(NAC)and the P3. MAPK inhibitor SB203.80 alleviated DTP-PDT-induced ***-PDT induced cell apoptosis together with upregulated Bax and downregulated Bcl-2,which could also be inhibited by NAC or *** level of LC3.-Ⅱ,a marker of autophagy,was increased by DTP-PDT.A total of 3.96 DERs were obtained after *** Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses indicated that DERs included those involved in cytosolic ribosomes,the nuclear lumen,protein binding,cell cycle,protein targeting to the endoplasmic reticulum,and ribosomal DNA *** Ontology and Reactome enrichment analyses indicated that DERs were associated with a variety of cancers and cell cycle ***-protein interaction results demonstrated that cdk1 and rps27a ranked in the top 10 interacting ***,DTP-PDT could inhibit cell growth and induce cell apoptosis and autophagy,partly through ROS and the P3. MAPK signaling *** associated with the cell cycle,ribosomes,DNA replication,and protein binding may be the key changes in DTP-PDT-mediated cytotoxicity.

Bacterial biofilms,especially those caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria,have emerged as one of the greatest dangers to global public *** acceleration of antimicrobial resistance to conventional an-tibiotics and the severe lack of new drugs necessitates the development of novel agents for biofilm *** therapy(PDT)is a promising non-antibiotic method for treating bacterial ***,its application in biofilm eradication is hampered by the hypoxic microenvironment of biofilms and the physical protection of extracellular polymeric *** this study,we develop a composite nanoplatform with oxygen(O_(2))self-supplying and heat-sensitizing capabilities to improve the PDT efficacy against ***_(2)/ICG@PDA nanoparticles(CIP NPs)are fabricated by combining calcium peroxide(CaO_(2))with the photosensitizer indocyanine green(ICG)via electrostatic interactions,followed by coating with polydopamine(PDA).The CIP NPs can gradually generate O_(2)in response to the acidic microenvironment of the biofilm,thereby alleviating its hypoxic *** near-infrared(NIR)irradiation,the nanoplatform converts O_(2)into a significant amount of singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))and heat to eradicate *** generated heat enhances the release of O_(2),accelerates the generation of^(1)O_(2)in PDT,increases cell membrane permeability,and increases bacterial sensitivity to^(1)O_(2).This nanoplatform significantly improves the efficacy of PDT in eradicating biofilm-dwelling bacteria without fostering drug *** on biofilm eradication demonstrate that this nanoplatform can eradicate over 99.9999%of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)biofilms under 5-min NIR ***,these integrated advantages enable the system to promote the healing of MRSA biofilm-infected wounds with negligible toxicity in vivo,indicating great promise for overcoming the obstacles associated with bacterial biofilm eradication.

During the development of diet-induced obesity， the change of energy matebolism is closely related to the function of the circadian clock in mammals. Luteolin (LU)， one of the most common natural flavonoids riched in many edible plants， can ameliorate obesity by activating adipose tissue browning， but its effect on circadian clock in this process remains poorly understood. Here we found that dietary LU improved circadian misalignment of energy expenditure in high-fat diet (HFD)-fed wild-type (WT) mice. Moreover， dietary LU efficiently elevated UCP1 levels in adipose tissue during the dark period， which was similar to the LU-increased hepatic PER2 expressions. Hepatic PPARα/RXRα/FGF21 pathway was rhythmically elevated by dietary LU in HFD-fed WT mice， whereas the promotion was inhibited in Per2-/-mice. Meanwhile， Per2 deletion abolished the effects of dietary LU on adipose tissue browning in HFD-fed mice. Further， LU treatment directly activated PPARα/RXRα/FGF21 signaling in primary cultured hepatocytes from WT mice rather than Per2-/-mice. Taken together， the deletion of the core clock component Per2 impedes LU-induced adipose tissue browning through weakening PPARα/RXRα/FGF21 pathway in mice， providing a new insight into the interplay of energy metabolism and circadian clock for the anti-obesity activity of LU.

In recent years, sub-synchronous oscillation accidents caused by wind power integration have received extensive attention. The recorded constant-amplitude waveforms can be induced by either linear or nonlinear oscillation mechanisms. Hence, the nonlinear behavior needs to be distinguished prior to choosing the analysis method. Since the 1960s, the higher-order statistics(HOS) theory has become a powerful tool for the detection of nonlinear behavior(DNB) in production quality control wherein it has mainly been applied to mechanical condition monitoring and fault diagnosis. This study focuses on the hard limiters of the voltage source converter(VSC) control systems in the wind farms and attempts to detect the nonlinear behavior caused by bi-or uni-lateral saturation hard limiting using the HOS analysis. First, the conventional describing function is extended to obtain the detailed frequency domain information on the bi-and uni-lateral saturation hard limiting. Furthermore, the bi-and tri-spectra are introduced as the HOS, which are extended into bi-and tri-coherence spectra to eliminate the effects of the linear parts on the harmonic characteristics of hard limiting in the VSC control system, respectively. The effectiveness of the HOS in the DNB and the classification of the hard-limiting types is proven, and its detailed derivation and estimation procedure is presented. Finally, the quadratic and cubic phase coupling in the signals is illustrated, and the performance of the proposed method is evaluated and discussed.

Two-dimensional materials represent a major frontier for research into exotic many-body quantum phenomena. In the extreme two-dimensional limit, electron-electron interaction often dominates over other electronic energy scales, leading to strongly correlated effects such as quantum spin liquid and unconventional *** dominance is conventionally attributed to the lack of electron screening in the third dimension. Here, we discover an intriguing metal to Mott insulator transition in 1T-TaSe2that defies conventional wisdom. Specifically, we find that dimensionality crossover, instead of reduced screening, drives the transition in atomically thin 1T-TaSe2. A dispersive band crossing the Fermi level is found to be responsible for the bulk metallicity in the material. Reducing the dimensionality,however, effectively quenches the kinetic energy of these initially itinerant electrons, and drives the material into a Mott insulating *** dimensionality-driven metal to Mott insulator transition resolves the long-standing dichotomy between metallic bulk and insulating surface of 1T-TaSe2. Our work further reveals a new pathway for modulating two-dimensional materials that enables exploring strongly correlated systems across uncharted parameter space.

In this paper, we denote the semi-direct product of the Witt algebra and the loop Schr?dinger algebra by SW(b), where b belongs to C. Our primary focus is on classifying U(Cd0 ⊕ Ch0)-free modules of rank1 over SW(b). We characterize both the irreducibility and isomorphism classes of these modules. Furthermore,we construct new non-weight modules over SW(0) by taking the tensor product of U(Cd0 ⊕ Ch0)-free modules with irreducible highest weight modules. We also consider the irreducibility and isomorphism classes for the tensor product modules. Finally, we reformulate some tensor product modules over SW(0) as induced modules derived from modules over certain subalgebras.
