Doped two-dimensional(2D)materials hold significant promise for advancing many technologies,such as microelectronics,optoelectronics,and energy ***,n-type 2D oxidized Si nanosheets,namely.n.type siloxene(n-SX),are employed as Li-ion battery *** thermal evaporation of sodium hypophosphite at 275℃,P atoms are effectively incorporated into siloxene(SX)without compromising its 2D layered morphology and unique Kautsky-type crystal ***,selective nucleophilic substitution occurs,with only Si atoms being replaced by P atoms in the O_(3)≡Si-H *** resulting n-SX possesses two delocalized electrons arising from the presence of two electron donor types:(i)P atoms residing in Si sites and(ii)H *** doping concentrations are varied by controlling the amount of precursors or their mean free *** at 2000 mA g^(-1),the n-SX electrode with the optimized doping concentration(6.7×10^(19) atoms cm^(-3))delivers a capacity of 594 mAh g^(-1) with a 73%capacity retention after 500 *** improvements originate from the enhanced kinetics of charge transport processes,including electronic conduction,charge transfer,and solid-state *** approach proposed herein offers an unprecedented route for engineering SX anodes to boost Li-ion storage.

The use of electrochemical-metallization-based volatile threshold switching selectors in cross-point arrays has been widely explored owing to their high on-off ratios and simple ***,these devices are unsuitable for cross-point architectures because of the difficulty in controlling the random filament formation that results in large fluctuations in the threshold voltage during *** this study,we investigated the unidirectional threshold transition characteristics associated with an Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt-based bilayer selector and demonstrated the occurrence of a low leakage current(nd low distribution of the threshold voltage(Δ0.11 V).The bilayer structure could control the filament formation in the intermediate state through the insertion of an HfO_(x) tunneling *** stacking a bilayer selector with niO_(x)based resistive random-access memory,the leakage and programming currents of the device could be significantly *** the crossbar array configuration,we performed equivalent circuit analysis of a one-selector oneresistor(1S1R) devices and estimated the optimal array size to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed *** maximum acceptable crossbar array size of the 1S1R device with the Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt/Ti/niO_(x)/Pt structure was 5.29×10^(14)(n^(2),n=2.3×10^(7)).

The World Health Organization has raised concerns about the possibility of airborne transmission in enclosed and poorly ventilated ***,rapid monitoring of airborne viruses is necessary in multi-use facilities with dense ***,an electrostatic air sampler(250 L/min)was developed in this work to obtain indoor viral aerosol samples for analysis via the Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR).Aerosol tests with H1n1 and HCoV-229E were performed to evaluate the sample collection *** analysis,along with another aerosol test,was conducted to evaluate the recovery of the virus particles collected by the *** laboratory tests,our electrostatic sampler obtained viral samples that were detectable by PCR under the simulated viral pandemic scenario(3000 RnA copies per cubic meter of air)within 40 *** resulting cycle threshold(C)values were 35.07 and 37.1 for H1n1 and HCoV-229E,*** the performance evaluation in the laboratory,field tests were conducted in a university classroom from October 28 to December 2,*** A and HCoV-229E were detected in two air samples,and the corresponding C,values were 35.3 and *** PCR results are similar to those obtained from laboratory tests,considering the simulatedviralpandemic scenario.

Surface area, pore properties, synergistic behavior, homogenous dispersion, and interactions between carbon matrix and metal-nanostructures are the key factors for achieving the better performance of carbon-metal based (electro)catalysts. However, the traditional hydro- or solvothermal preparation of (electro)catalysts, particularly, bi- or tri-metallic nanostructures anchored graphene (G) or carbon nanotubes (CnTs), often pose to poor metal-support interaction, low synergism, and patchy dispersion. At first, bimetallic flower-like-CuFeS2/nG and cube-like-niFeS2/nCnTs nanocomposites were prepared by solvothermal method. The resultant bimetallic nanocomposites were employed to derive the 2D-nano-sandwiched Fe2CuniS4/nGCnTs-SW (electro)catalyst by a very simple and green urea-mediated "mix-heat" method. The desired physicochemical properties of Fe2CuniS4/nGCnTs-SW such as multiple active sites, strong metal-support interaction, homogenous dispersion and enhanced surface area were confirmed by various microscopic and spectroscopic techniques. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first urea-mediated "mix-heat" method for preparing 2D-nano-sandwiched carbon-metal-based (electro)catalysts. The Fe2CuniS4/nGCnTs-SW was found to be highly effective for alkaline-mediated oxygen evolution reaction at low onset potential of 284.24 mV, and the stable current density of 10 mA cm(-2) in 1.0 m KOH for 10 h. Further, the Fe2CuniS4/nGCnTs-SW demonstrated excellent catalytic activity in the reduction of 4-nitrophenol with good kapp value of 87.71 x 10(-2) s(-1) and excellent reusability over five cycles. Overall, the developed urea-mediated "mix-heat" method is highly efficient for the preparation of metal-nanoarchitectures anchored 2D-nano-sandwiched (electro)catalysts with high synergism, uniform dispersion and excellent metal-support interaction.
