Point mutations on membrane proteins may lead to small structural variations. Prediction of such struc- tural variations can help to further understand the related bio-activities of membrane proteins. We constructed fifteen hybrid energy functions on the basis of Chemistry at harvard Macromolecular Mechanics（ChARMM） force field, hydrogen bonding potential and distance-scaled, finite ideal-gas reference（DFIRE）-like statistical energies, and eva- luated their performance on a representative dataset of homologous membrane proteins via a newly developed all-atom replica exchange Monte Carlo algorithm. The energy function composed of ChARMM and hydrogen bonding potential has the best performance, and the original DFIRE potential shows much better performance than the DFIRE-Iike potentials constructed from membrane proteins. We can conclude that more membrane protein struc- tures with high resolution are necessary for the construction of robust prediction method of mutation induced mem- brane protein structure variations.

Recently, controlled release of drugs and gene delivery technology have received considerable attention due to their numerous advantages including prolonged duration of action of an active agent, improved efficacy, reduced toxicity and convenience compared to the conventional dosage forms[1]. In this field typical systems are polymer delivery systems depending on the hydrolysis-induced degradation, swelling and erosion of carriers′ structures[1, 2], mesoporous silica carrier systems relying on capturing and releasing the CdS nanoparticles[3], and layered materials release systems based on ion-exchange principle[4].

高管团队作为战略执行的主要负责单元,除团队成员自身的战略领导能力外,成员之间能力的匹配与协调也是影响组织绩效的关键因素,因此高管团队成员选择时需要对这两个问题同时进行考虑.采用区间直觉模糊熵来确定决策者权重,以对候选者的战略领导能力进行评价;同时引入区间直觉模糊集的模糊交叉熵,来计算候选者与完全匹配候选人和完全不匹配候选人之间的距离,并按照加权几何算子和加权算术算子集结决策者的评价结果,以对高管团队成员进行有效的选择.最后以PM公司高管成员选择为例对该模型进行验证.

We present our optical multi-color monitoring of the BL Lac object OJ 287 from January 2006to December 2012 in the V,R and I bands.A relatively active state in OJ 287 has been found over all monitored epochs,among which the variations of average magnitude in V/R/I bands were measured with ?V=1.956 mag,?R=2.067 mag and ?I=2.115 mag,*** reliable intraday variability is detected,but possible variability is detected on 16 *** relative variation amplitudes fall into the range between 1% and 8%,with the majority between 2% and 4%.No time lags have been detected,but strong correlations exist among light curves in the three *** bluer-when-brighter trend is dominant over intraday timescales,which supports the shock-in-jet *** combining with additional V/R band data obtained from SMARTS and the Steward Observatory,we also find a bluer-when-brighter trend over a long-term *** possible periods of 513,176,36,30,26,17 and 14 d are found in all time-series data sets from 2006 to *** explanations about these periods are given.

Interaction of the solar wind with the interstellar medium leads to the formation of the heliosphere and termination shock. This article addresses three aspects of the plasma and magnetic field on two sides of the heliopause：（1） The interstellar magnetic field surrounding the heliopause. In the limit of very low plasma β-ratio an analytical solution is obtained for the 3D interstellar magnetic field by means of a line dipole method. The undisturbed magnetic field in the upstream is allowed to have an arbitrary inclination angle. The solution describes the heliosphere as having a blunt-nosed geometry on the upwind side and approaching a cylindrical geometry on the downwind side. The distortion of the magnetic field can penetrate very deep into the interstellar space. （2） Interaction of the interstellar neutral hydrogen with the global solar wind. The ionization process leads to removal of interstellar neutral hydrogen in the heliosphere： on the upwind side, 90% of hydrogen depletion occurs inside 60 AU, the hydrogen density changes rapidly inside 10 AU. A hydrogen cavity forms inside -4 AU; the cavity extends on the downwind side to form a long cavity wake. Outside the cavity and cavity wake, pickup protons are produced, they cause deceleration and heating of the solar wind. The wind speed and temperature also increase steadily with heliolatitude caused by the latitudinal increase in wind speed at the inner boundary. （3） The global geometry of the termination shock. The termination shock has been treated as having a closed geometry in previous heliosphere models. This study presents a new perspective that the global termination shock may have a bow-shaped open geometry. The termination shock forms on the upwind side because the forward motion of the supersonic solar wind is blocked at the blunt-nosed heliopause. however, the heliopause likely to be open on the downwind side; the motion of the supersonic solar wind is unobstructed for shock formation. Melatonin Ameliorates Liver Fibrosis Induced by Carbon Tetrachloride in Rats via Inhibiting TGF-β1/Smad Signaling Pathway

Melatonin has been reported to inhibit hepatic fibrosis and the mechanism may be correlated to its anti-oxidant effect. Nevertheless, the mechanism is not completely identified. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of melatonin on TGF-β1/Smad signaling pathway in liver fibrosis in rats. The liver fibrosis model was made by the subcutaneous injection of CC14. The liver pathology changes were detected using hematoxylin and eosin （h＆E） staining and Van Gieson （VG） staining. Serum alanine aminotransferase （ALT） and aspartate aminotransferase （AST） activities were measured with an autoanalyzer. Glutathione peroxidase （GPx） activities and levels of malondialdehyde （MDA） and hydroxyproline （hyp） in liver were evaluated by spectrophotometry. Expression levels of TGF-β1, Smad2/3, phosphorylated Smad2/3 （p-Smad2/3） and Smad7 in liver were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis. Results showed that melatonin suppressed CC14-induced liver fibrosis, along with an improvement in histological changes, significant decreases in pathologic grading sores and obvious decreases in hyp levels in liver. Melatonin improved liver function indicated by decreased serum ALT and AST activities. In addition, melatonin exerted its anti-oxidant effects, as supported by decreased MDA levels and increased GPx activities in liver. Furthermore, melatonin inhibited TGF-β1/Smad pathway, as evidenced by decreased TGF-β1, Smad2/3 and p-Smad2/3 expression and increased Smad7 expression in liver. In conclusion, melatonin may suppress CCl4-induced hepatic fibrosis in rats via inhibiting TGF-β1/Smad pathway. It is possible for melatonin to be a potential reagent to treat and cure liver fibrosis.

Most of the existing text clustering algorithms overlook the fact that one document is a word sequence with semantic information. There is some important semantic information existed in the positions of words in the sequence. In this paper, a novel method named Frequent Itemset-based Clustering with Window （FICW） was proposed, which makes use of the semantic information for text clustering with a window constraint. The experimental results obtained from tests on three （hypertext） text sets show that FICW outperforms the method compared in both clustering accuracy and efficiency.

Background:To investigate the decentration and tilt of plate-haptic multifocal intraocular lenses(MfIOLs)in myopic ***:Myopic(axial length[AXL]>24.5 mm)and non-myopic(21.0 mmyes were enrolled in this prospective study and randomly assigned to receive implantation of Zeiss AT LISA tri 839MP lenses(Group A)or Tecnis ZMB00 lenses(Group B).In total,122 eyes of 122 patients were available for *** and tilt of MfIOLs,high-order aberrations(hOAs),and modulation transfer functions(MTFs)were evaluated using the OPD-Scan III aberrometer 3 months *** symptoms were assessed with a Quality of Vision ***:Near and distance visual acuities,tilt and horizontal decentration did not differ between the two groups,***,myopic eyes of Group B showed greater vertical decentration than those of Group A(−0.17±0.14 mm vs.-0.03±0.09 mm,respectively),particularly when the MfIOLs were placed horizontally or *** decentration of myopic eyes was greater in Group B than in Group A(0.41±0.15 mm vs.0.16±0.10 mm,respectively).In Group B,AXL was negatively correlated with vertical decentration and positively correlated with overall *** such correlations were found in Group *** total hOAs,coma,trefoil and spherical aberrations were lower in Group A than in Group B for a 6.0 mm pupil among myopic ***,Group A had better MTFs and fewer subjective symptoms than Group B among myopic ***:Plate-haptic design of MfIOLs may be a suggested option for myopic cataract eyes due to the less inferior decentration and better visual quality postoperatively.
