Cancer is a major global health issue;in 2020,there were 19.29 million new cancer cases and 9.96 million cancer deaths worldwide(Siegel et al.,2023).Despite ongoing research,chemotherapy remains the primary treatment due to its broad anti-cancer effects(Marra and Curigliano,2021).However,intravenous chemotherapeutic drugs commonly induce hematotoxicity,necessitating dose adjustments or treatment ***-induced thrombocytopenia(CIT)and neutropenia(CIN)are the primary manifestations of chemotherapy-induced hematotoxicity,which requires intervention due to the heightened risk of bleeding and infection(blayney and Schwartzberg,2022).Currently,there are no FDA-approved treatments for CIT(Song and Al-Samkari,2023).While a CIT mouse model using 5-FU has been developed for drug evaluation(Shin et al.,2023),it lacks a comprehensive hematotoxicity assessment and the benefits of high throughput,cost-effectiveness,and ***,it is urgent to develop a high-throughput CIT model for risk assessment and safer chemotherapy strategies with clinical potential.

Uncontrolled growth of lithium dendrite will lead to low Coulombic efficiency and poor cycle stability,which hinders the commercialization of lithium metal ***,a novel modified lithium anode with reduced graphene oxide conductive network containing trace lithiophilic phosphorus(P-rGO/Cu)is prepared by electrospraying technique combined with heat treatment *** rGO layer has a concave and undulating conductive structure,which can significantly improve the effective electrical contact between lithium metal and the current collector,speed up the kinetics of interfacial electron transport and reaction,and improve the resistance of the negative electrode to the internal stress caused by volume change of the lithium,which is advantageous for the stability of the SEI *** extremely small and uniformly distributed red phosphorus element avoids the volume change caused by lithiation to the maximum *** two-phase compound Li_(3)P obtained by alloying P with Li can directionally induce the homogeneous nucleation and dense deposition of lithium metal,address the issue of lithium dendrites and extend the cycle life of the *** obtained P-rGO/Cu exhibits excellent electrochemical performance with an average Coulombic efficiency(CE)of 98%at a current density of 1 mA·cm^(−2) for 400 cycles,and the capacity retention rate of the full cell matched with lithium iron phosphate(LFP)is 83%after 400 cycles at 1C.

Azobenzene-based ultrathin peptoid nanoribbons for the potential on highly efficient artificial light-harvesting

The development of artificial light-harvesting systems based on long-range ordered ultrathin organic nanomaterials(i.e., below3 nm), which were assembled from stimuli-responsive sequence-controlled biomimetic polymers, remains challenging. Herein,we report the self-assembly of azobenzene-containing amphiphilic ternary alternating peptoids to construct photo-responsive ultrathin peptoids nanoribbons(UTPNRs) with a thickness of ~2.3 nm and the length in several micrometers. The pendants hydrophobic conjugate stacking mechanism explained the formation of one-dimensional ultrathin nanostructures, whose thickness was highly dependent on the length of side groups. The photo-isomerization of azobenzene moiety endowed the aggregates with a reversible morphology transformation from UTPNRs to spherical micelles(46.5 nm), upon the alternative irradiation with ultraviolet and visible light. Donor of 4-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole(NbD) and acceptor of rhodamine b(Rb) were introduced onto the hydrophobic and hydrophilic regions, respectively, to generate photocontrollable artificial light-harvesting systems. Compared with the spheres-based systems, the obtained NbD-UTPNRs@Rb composite proved a higher energy transfer efficiency(90.6%) and a lower requirement of Rb acceptors in water. A proof-ofconcept use as fluorescent writable ink demonstrated the potential of UTPNRs on information encryption.
