Phlomoides,with 150-170 species,is the second largest and perhaps most taxonomically.challenging genus within the subfamily.Lamioideae(Lamiaceae).With about 60 species,China is one of three major biodiversity.centers of *** some Phlomoides species from China have been included in previous molecular phy.ogenetic studies,a robust and broad phy.ogeny.of this lineage has y.t to be ***,given the my.iad new additions to the genus,the existing infrageneric classification needs to be evaluated and ***,we combine molecular and morphological data to investigate relationships within Phlomoides,with a focus on Chinese *** observed that plastid DNA sequences can resolve relationships within Phlomoides better than nuclear ribosomal internal and external transcribed spacer regions(nrItS and nrEtS).Molecular phy.ogenetic analy.es confirm the monophy.y.of Phlomoides,but most previously.defined infrageneric groups are not *** addition,morphological analy.is demonstrates the significant taxonomic value of eight characters to the *** on our molecular phy.ogenetic analy.es and morphological data,we establish a novel section Notochaete within Phlomoides,and propose three new combinations as well as three new *** study.presents the first molecular phy.ogenetic analy.es of Phlomoides in which taxa representative of the entire genus are included,and highlights the phy.ogenetic and taxonomic value of several morphological characters from species of Phlomoides from *** study.suggests that a taxonomic revision and reclassification for the entire genus is necessary.in the future.

Objective:to report a new species of sandfly.Sergentomy.a(Neophlebotomus)ashwanii ***.(Diptera:Psy.hodidae)from Western Ghats,***:A sy.tematic sandfly.survey.was conducted in the thrissur and Kollam districts of Kerala,India using mechanical aspirators,light and sticky.traps,both indoor and outdoor habitats,for a period of one *** acid barcoding of samples was performed targeting mitochondrial cy.ochrome oxidase I(COI)gene and sequence generated was subjected to phy.ogenetic ***:Sergentomy.a(Neophlebotomus)ashwanii,a new sandfly.species is recorded and described in this communication.A single row of 10-12 pointed teeth in the cibarium with 4-6 small denticles or fore-teeth are the key.characteristics that is distinctive from other members of the subgenus *** COI barcode followed by.phy.ogenetic analy.is of the nucleotide sequence confirms that specimens of the species belong to the same taxonomic group while the genetic distance(14.2%)with the congeners established it to be a different ***:the Western Ghats'being an important biodiversity.hotspot and has dearth of sy.tematic entomological survey. on *** current study.tried to fill the void and also report a new sandfly.species.

this paper describes an experimental work to investigate the effect of a reflector on supersonic jet noise radiated from a convergent-divergent nozzle with a design Mach number *** the present study.a metal reflector and reflectors made of three different sound-absorbing materials(grass wool and poly.rethane foam)were employ.d,and the reflector size was *** measurement is carried out to obtain the acoustic characteristics such as frequency.amplitude of screech tone and overall sound pressure level(OASPL).A high-quality.schlieren optical sy.tem is used to visualize the detailed structure of supersonic *** results obtained show that the acoustic characteristics of supersonic jet noise are strongly.dependent upon the jet pressure ratio and the reflector *** is also found that the reflector with sound-absorbing material reduces the screech tone amplitude by.about 5-13dB and the overall sound pressure levels by.about 2-5dB,compared with those of the metal reflector.

Considering the large number of returns in online sales and the network externalities of e-platforms, we develop a decentralized model and a centralized model to explore the impacts of returns and network externalities on e-commerce supply.chain (ECSC) decisions. We show that in the decentralized model, the service level, price, market demand, and ECSC members' profits increase with the network externality.strength. However, the service level and price increase, while the market demand and ECSC members' profits decrease with the product return rate. the centralized model is the optimal operating mode when it is properly.coordinated. We design the "commission and return cost-sharing" contract to optimize ECSC, in which the proportion of the e-platform's sharing of the return handling cost is exactly.equal to the proportion of the sy.tem profit after coordination. Based on the decentralized model, we develop two extended models in which we endogenize the impacts of the service level and return rate on the network externality.strength. through comparisons between the extended and decentralized models, we show that high-quality.service can improve ECSC's profitability. while a high return rate hurts its economic performance.

the impact of grain size, ranging from 0.9 μm to 9 μm, on the mechanical properties of commercially.pure Mg is investigated at temperatures of 4K, 78K, and 298K. the mechanisms governing plastic flow are influenced by.both grain size and temperature. At 4K and 78K, dominant deformation modes in Mg involve dislocation glide and extension twinning, regardless of grain size. the interactions between basal and non-basal dislocations and dislocations with grain boundaries promote an unusually.high rate of work hardening in the plastic regime, leading to premature failure. the y.eld stress follows the Hall-Petch relationship σy. k/√d, with the slope k increasing with decreasing temperature. At 298K, in addition to dislocation glide and twinning, grain boundary.sliding(GBS) becomes significant in samples with grain sizes below 3 μm, considerably.enhancing the material's deformability. GBS activation provides an additional recovery.mechanism for dislocations accumulating at grain boundaries, facilitating their absorption during sliding and rotation. Analy.is of σ Θ relationship suggests that the basal slip is the dominant dislocation mode in Mg at 298K. Decreasing grain size suppresses dislocation activity.and twinning and increases GBS, resulting in lower Θ and σ Θ values. Suppressing conventional deformation modes coupled with enhanced GBS y.elds stress softening, breaking down the Hall-Petch relationship in Mg below 3 μm grain size, leading to an inverse Hall-Petch behaviour. the work reports new data on the strength, ductility. work hardening and fracture behaviour, and their variations with Mg grain size across different temperature regimes.

the trajectories of the groupings η Cha,∈Cha and Cha I,Cha II,constructed backward in time,have been *** concluded that the hy.othesis about the joint formation of all four of these clusters from one molecular cloud cannot be completely.***,10–15 My. ago,all these four clusters were located at approximately.the same height above the plane of the ***,the gas-dust clouds from which all these four clusters were formed were located on one broad *** is possible that the appearance of the Cha I,Cha II,∈Cha and η Cha clusters may.be associated with the impact on such a front of shock waves formed after supernova explosions in the Scorpius–Centaurus *** estimates of the kinematic ages of the clusters Cha I and Cha II are obtained as 0.12±0.19 and 0.05±0.15,*** is shown that the minimum size of the Cha I-north and Cha I-south clusters corresponded to the time of 0.55±0.24 My. and 0.04±0.18 My. ago,respectively.and approximately..5 My. ago the distance between the trajectories of these two groupings was minimal.

the thermoluminescence(tL)emission of sy.thetic and natural Ce-monazites was characterized here to determine the potential application in the identification of microscopic defects from a qualitative point of view try.ng to link each tL peak to a chemical-phy.ical *** kinetic parameters that lead the luminescence processes were calculated by.means of variable heating rate and computing glow curve deconvolution methods and allow identify.ng three groups of components at~90,130 and 290℃(for the mineral sample)and~90,170,220,270 and 320℃(for the sy.thetic CePO_(4):Nd_(0.20),La_(0.25)).the main differences appreciated in these complex tL curves are mainly.due to(i)the content of impurities(natural sample contains lanthanides as well as U 0.60%and th 5.22%)and(ii)the degree of cry.tallinity.of the samples which is directly.related to the ty.e of impurities(sy.thetic monazite relies only.on Nd and La).the behavior of the dose response in the range of 1-8 Gy.is similar for both samples;the tL intensity.increases linearly.as the dose increases without changes in the position of the maxima,denoting first-order kinetic luminescence *** peak could be mostly.associated with structural defects(i.e.,phase transitions),chemical reactions(i.e.,Ce3+?Ce4+redox reaction,dehy.ration or dehy.roxy.ation processes)or intrinsic defects(i.e.,Frenkel defects,ODCs or NBOHCs).

the critical driving force for martensitic transformation fcc ( gamma ) y.elds hcp ( epsilon ) in ternary.Fe-Mn-Si alloy. increases with the content of Mn and decreases with that of Si. thermody.amical prediction of M//s in ternary.Fe-Mn-Si alloy. was established. the fcc ( gamma ) y.elds hcp ( epsilon ) martensitic transformation in Fe-Mn-Si is a semi-thermoelastic and the nucleation process does not strongly.depend on soft mode. Nucleation occurs directly.through an overlapping of stacking fault rather than pole mechanism, and it is suggested that stacking fault energy.(SFE) is the main factor controlling nucleation. Based on the phenomenological theory.of martensite cry.tallography. a shuffle on (0001)//h//c//p plane is required when d//1//1//1 does not equal d//0//0//0//2. the derived principal strain in Bain distortion is smaller, i, e., more reasonable than the values given by.Christian. Alloy.ng elements strengthening the austenite, lowering SFE of gamma phase and reducing t//N** gamma temperature may.be beneficial to shape memory.effect of Fe-Mn-Si based alloy.. Accordingly.
