The newborn infant pres.nted with s.vere proptos.s. Data on clinical his.ory. pres.ntation, photos. radiological imaging, and laboratory.res.lts.were pres.nted. A literature review was.conducted for the cas. and relevant treatment modalities. The s.rgical technique and the outcome were als. dis.us.ed. The mas. was.pres.nt s.nce birth in a full term neonate, caus.ng complete globe dis.ocation of the left ey.. Imaging s.owed a large cy.tic retro-bulbar mas. completely.occupy.ng the orbital cavity.and caus.ng anterior dis.ocation of the left globe. s.rgical excis.on of the tumor was.carried out with globe pres.rvation and His.opathology.examination confirmed the diagnos.s.of optic nerve glioma. This.was.an aty.ical pres.ntation of an optic nerve glioma caus.ng globe dis.ocation in a neonate. The res.ction of s.ch a large orbital tumor made globe pres.rvation pos.ible and res.lted in an excellent cos.etic outcome. .

A method for determining the extrema of a real-valued and differentiable function for which its.dependent variables.are s.bject to cons.raints.and that avoided the us. of Lagrange multipliers.was.previous.y.pres.nted (Corti and Fariello, Op. Res. Forum 2 (2021) 59). The method made us. of projection matrices. and a corres.onding Gram-s.hmidt orthogonalization proces., to identify.the cons.rained extrema. Furthermore, information about the s.cond-derivatives.of the given function with cons.raints.was.generated, from which the nature of the cons.rained extrema could be determined, again without knowledge of the Lagrange multipliers. Here, the method is.extended to the cas. of functional derivatives.with cons.raints. In addition, cons.rained firs.-order and s.cond-order derivatives.of the function are generated, in which the derivatives.with res.ect to a given variable are obtained and, concomitantly. the effect of the variations.of the remaining chos.n s.t of dependent variables.are s.rictly.accounted for. Thes. cons.rained derivatives.are valid not only.at the extrema points. and als. provide another equivalent route for the determination of the cons.rained extrema and their nature.

Innovative definitions.of the electric and magnetic diffus.vities.through conducting mediums.and innovative diffus.on equations.of the electric charges.and magnetic flux are verified in this.article. s.ch innovations.depend on the analogy.of the governing laws.of diffus.on of the thermal, electrical, and magnetic energies.and newly.defined natures.of the electric charges.and magnetic flux as.energy. or as.electromagnetic waves. that have electric and magnetic potentials. The introduced diffus.on equations.of the electric charges.and magnetic flux involve Laplacian operator and the introduced diffus.vities. Both equations.are applied to determine the electric and magnetic fields.in conductors.as.the heat diffus.on equation which is.applied to determine the thermal field in s.eady.and uns.eady.heat diffus.on conditions. The us. of electric networks.for experimental modeling of thermal networks.repres.nts.s.fficient proof of s.milarity.of the diffus.on equations.of both fields. By.analy.is.of the diffus.on phenomena of the three cons.dered modes.of energy.trans.er;the rates.of flow of thes. energies.are found to be directly.proportional to the gradient of their volumetric concentration, or dens.ty. and the proportionality.cons.ants.in s.ch relations.are the diffus.vity.of each energy. s.ch analy.is.leads.als. to find proportionality.relations.between the potentials.of s.ch energies.and their volumetric concentrations. The coupled-channel optical method is.us.d to s.udy.pos.tron s.attering by.atomic lithium at energies.ranging from the ionization thres.old to 60eV, The pres.nt method s.multaneous.y.treats.the target channels.and the pos.tronium （Ps. channels.in the coupled-channel method together with the continuum effects.via an ab-initio optical potential. In order to control the orientation of eas.0}axis.of magnetic nanowires. Fes.4 s.ngle cry.tal nanowires.with eas.0}axis.perpendicular to wire-axis.were prepared s.cces.fully.by.means.of a magnetic-field-induced method. Analy.is.of X-ray.diffraction and electron diffraction pattern s.owed that there was.a wide-angle deflection of eas.0}axis.in the prepared Fe304 nanowires. A high s.turation magnetization （82 emu/g） of the Fes.4 nanowires.was.achieved at room temperature. The benefits.and mechanis. of the deflection of eas.0}axis.from its.wire-axis.in Fes.4 s.ngle cry.tal nanowires.were dis.us.ed. The res.lts.are expected to broaden the magnetic properties.of traditional ferrite nanowires.

The decompos.tion of trifluoromethane （CHF3） was.carried out us.ng non-thermal plas.a generated in a dielectric barrier dis.harge （DBD） reactor. The effects.of reactor temperature, electric power, initial concentration and oxy.en content were examined. The DBD reactor was.able to completely.des.roy.CHF3 with alumina beads.as.a packing material. The decompos.tion efficiency.increas.d with increas.ng electric power and reactor temperature. The des.ruction of CHF3 gradually.increas.d with the addition of O2 up to 2%, but further increas. in the oxy.en content led to a decreas. in the decompos.tion efficiency. The degradation pathway. were explained with the identified by.products. The main by.products.from CHF3 were found to be COF2, CF4, CO2 and CO although the COF2 and CF4 dis.ppeared when the plas.a were combined with alumina cataly.t.
